Now back at the cave Adia sat down next to Santos lightly leaned on him. "Well in a pride it's pretty opposite as we are stronger if we stand together and depend on eachother." Adia said while looking down at Santos and placing a paw on the top of his head.

Santos grinned as the paw was placed on his head and let his light blue eyes wonder over the lands again.
Nimbus walked back over to his dad but this time he had something sitting on his head.
A large blue mouse sat contently riding on top of the cubs head and looked at the king with black eyes.
Santos looked at his son and then the mouse with a expression of shock. Why did he have a blue mouse sitting on his head?
"Dad, this is Michuru! She says she can watch over me!" He looked at Santos with hopeful eyes. "Can I keep her?"
"You make it sound as if I were a pet," Squeaked the little mouse. "I'm not a pet." She huffed.
"Don't get your ears knotted up, Churu," Nimbus laughed and looked up at his friend.
Santos thought for a moment and nodded. "You may keep her as long as your mother agrees to it," he smiled to his son and then looked at Adia mimicking his sons hopeful eyes.

Naida lay down in front of, and slightly to the side, of the threesome, watching them interact. Laying her head on her paws, she smiled and thought to herself, "So much different from life as I knew it growing up as a cub...Nimbus is lucky to have such loving parents. I hope one day I'll have cubs of my own to love."

Adia twitched slightly and blinked realizing she was being given the eyes. She looked from the mouse to Nimbus and then to Santos and giggled at Santos' who looked the oddest with such expression. "I don't mind. She's rather and pretty smart too. Welcome to the family Michuru." Adia said with a bright smile and then looked to Naida. "Thinking on something Naida?"

"Alright!" Nimbus rubbed up against Adia and then gave Santos a high paw. "Hear that Churu? She thinks you're pretty and smart! And you thought they wouldn't let you stay!" He giggles looking up at the mouse who had now moved to his nose.
Santos grinned and gave his son a high paw. He knew Adia couldn't resist the eyes.
Michuru threw her paws up in the air and cheered then looked up at Adia. "Thank you ma'am!" she gave a curtsey and then began cheering again.

Naida lifted up her head and laughed a little at the whole scene. "Yes, I was just thinking how lucky Nimbus is....and Michuru? It's nice meeting you."

Michuru looked over at the water lioness and gave another curtsey. "Yes ma'am. It's nice to meet you too," She said with a sweet voice.
Santos looked over at Naida and tilted his head. "Lucky?" a curious expression spread across his face. "I think we're the lucky ones to have such a wonderful cub. And I know you'll have cubs someday, just remember they're always welcome in our pride," he smiled and then looked towards the sky. The sun was setting and all the clouds had turned a soft shade of pink againts the orange purple and blue sky. "It's getting late, Nimbus head into the cave for the night. Naida you shoould head in soon too, you need to rest."
"Do I have to?" Nimbus whined and puffed out his lip. He didn't want to sleep, he wanted to play.
"Yes you have to, young prince. Now, march!" Michuru pointed towards the cave and held on as Nimbus walked towards the cave and laid down with a sigh.

Adia giggled as she listened to Naida and Santos talk. Giving a light sigh she layed down next to Santos and peered at the setting sun. She loved watching the sun set with all the beautiful shades of red, yellow and even a bit of blue it was simply lovely to watch. "The night comes all too soon but still must come I guess." She said with a sigh as she nuzzled Santos' neck with her muzzle.

Naida got up and stretched a bit, knowing Santos was right. It was getting late, and though she did love watching the sun set, she was exhausted from everything that had happened today. After all, her life had now changed forever, had it not? She bowed her head to them both, wishing them a good night, before padding softly past them. She paused a moment, looking at the two of them over her shoulder for a moment, a pang of longing in her heart as she smiled at how loving they were. Shaking her head, she walked in farther and lay down in one cozy corner of the cave. From somewhere deep inside, the sound of water dripping put Naida quickly to sleep.

Santos layed his head on his paws and stared out over the land. It was all so beautiful, and he wouldn't mind watching it forever, but he was way too tired. He lifted his head slowly and licked Adia's cheek. "I'm sorry my love but I must also get some rest," he nuzzled her and licked her cheek one last time before letting his head drop to his paws once more and drifted off to a light slumber.

Adia smiled as Santos drifted into sleep and then moments later she too lied her head down upon her paws and drifted into slumber.
((*Waves paw to make time pass* ^^))
It was mid-day on the land as the sun shone down bright upon the land of the Rose Petal Pride. Standing just outside the the pride's home cave was Adia who was pacing in a very fretful manner just in front of the cave. No one else seemed to be around at the moment and this was giving Adia a little too much time to think. She was happy and scared at the same moment and her worry was getting bigger and bigger by the second. She had to do something to put her worry to rest. Easily she sat down, took a deep breath and let out the loudest roar she could muster. A roar that would hopefully bring the whole pride in from their duties so she could speak with them all at the same time. She had a big announcement that she needed to share before it tore her to bits.

Santos was out making his rounds about the lands when he heard Adia's roar. It seemed urgent and he was truely scared that something had happened to her. He turned tail and rushed offf to meet his mate as images of all the things that could have happened to her flowed through his mind. Hyena's he had over looked on his rounds? A tree falling on her? Sudden illness? All of these thoughts swam tauntingly through his mind but as he reached the cave he realized she was fine and gave a sigh of relief. "What is it, Love? You look a little stressed," what had she called so loudly?

Naida was in the middle of finishing off an antelope when Adia's roar drifted across the land. Naida had discovered hunting was alot easier, since a colorful lioness could be easily seen on the plains, that to wait underwater from one to approach to drink at one of their usual water holes and leap out of the water was the best approach. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Yiska approach the still struggling prey and growled a warning for him to back away before he was seriously injured as she waited for it to suffocate and die.
Yiska obediently backed away, but glanced up when he heard the roar. "Hey...Adia needs us!" He leaped about with his usual energy as he began to ask "Think everythings okay? Why do you think she needs us? When are we going to eat?"
Finally, the breath of life gone, Naida let the prey drop to the ground as she licked her bloody jaws. "We're not going to find out by staying here...hop on, we need to get back." Taking the antelope by the neck, Yiska safely aboard, she set off at a trot hampered slightly by the addition weight of the food, and the fact she had to face to one side so as to not trip. Finally, after a bit of trouble at one point, and a quick rest to shift her grip on the antelope's neck, she finally arrived and dropped the food at the feet of her queen and king. "Sorry it took so long, was just finishing up a hunt. What's happened? Are you okay?" she asked, quickly reading the stressed look of Adia's.

((I forgot to add in Nimbus so I'm gunna make his post short and sweet here..))
Nimbus yawned and looked around with half lidded eyes. He had been taking a nap when his mother's roar had waken him. Trotting out of the large cave his sat infront of Adia with a huff and stared up at her. "What is it, Mom? Nio one is hurt are they?"

Adia waited till all were present and accounted for and then began. She smiled at Santos first and nuzzled him and then looked to Naida and Yiska. "I'm alright. I just wanted the whole pride here when I made this announcement." Adia explained and then turned to look to Santos. "I know how much you love Nimbus as an adopted son and how you've been wishing cubs of your own. What would you say if I told you I'm going to grant your wish?" Adia asked being rather sneaky instead of straight forward.
