+Loli Lace+ PearlZenith I wanted to say that I tried the baking911 recipes for petit fours, and it worked excellently. They're still not the easiest or quickest thing to make, but those recipes are well written, and accurate. I still need to take photos. yep yep...mmm...i haven't had time to bake or sew anything...not like i can though... sweatdrop How you're being silly. You can't sew? Hmm? I do understand the not having time part; I hate it when life gets like that, but it happens. If you really can't bake/cook/whatever, wait until there's a lull in the craziness, and choose something simple to make, with few ingredients, and easy cooking. Muffins and simple cookies are usually a good place to start. I find that the most important thing is to pay attention to what I'm doing, and read the instructions all the way through before starting the recipe. Also, cookies usually allow you to take things as slowly as you need, and are pretty forgiving. If you want to make a cake instead, start with boxed mixes, so you don't have to worry about sifting things and how picky some recipes get. Again, make sure you understand the directions before starting. You can usually also use cake mixes for cupcakes. Some boxes gives directions for baking both cakes and cupcakes. If not, just know that cupcakes take less time to bake. Meow, I love tea and sandwitches. Especially openfaced sandwitches on tiny bread slices. My mom used to make those when I had tea parties as a child.

CHEESECAKE! Here is my secret family recipe (not secret anymore I guess!) for Speedy Cheesecake Pie.
1 8-oz package of cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or peel) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla dash salt 2 eggs 1 UNBAKED graham cracker crust 1 cup dairy sour cream 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Beat cream cheese till fluffy; gradually blend in 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Pour filling into crust. Bake in slow oven 325 degrees, 25 to 30 minutes or till set. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon over top of pie. Bake 10 minutes longer. Cool, chill several hours. Serve with fresh ripe strawberries if desired.
There's tons of things you can do with cheesecakes, add glazed strawberries, drizzle on your favorite sweet syrup, present with an edible flower on top... They're tasty, naughty (so fatty but worth it!), and has a top layer of cool with a bottom layer of creamy dreamy! MMMMM-mmmm!

its fun making mini quiches because they are filling and warm but really good and you can make them pretty with parsley and little cute dishes. Also i LOVE making creme brulee which is like a super sweet sugar pudding with a layer of melted sugar on top. its really sweet and very good, pretty easy to make too. and you put it in little glazed disheswith mini silver spoons XD delichous!

Ballerina, that's so cute!
Kitsune, quiche is delicious, and filling, plus it has necessary protein. ^__^ And, my friend makes the best creme brulee I've ever tasted...I'm too afraid that if I try to make it, it will suck, so I don't.
MinaMouse, cheesecakes are a good idea. I have a favourite recipe, but it's incredibly rich, so you only eat tiny slices at a time. Believe me, you don't want to eat more than a tiny slice. Your tastebuds are quite satisfied. Unfortunately, my brothers don't undrstand the meaning of 'moderation' when it comes to food, so I make a different cheesecake for my family; it's similar to the recipe you posted, with a sourcream glaze.

PearlZenith Creme Brulee is actually REALLY easy to make! the hardest part for me would have to be the sugar on top because i always seem to burn it rather than melt it..... heres a really easy recepie link.... http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/262/Easy_Creme_Brulee6793.shtml thats the one i first used when i started making it, now i've kinda refined it in my own way but i've made it so much i dont use a recepie sweatdrop

It may be easy to make, but I don't want to make it. It's not the same as having your friend make it. ^__^ There are things I'm good at making, and I like to make, but I want creme brulee to be special in a different way.
