I was inducted at the end of freshman year- although I'm not sure how I was. I worked for a week on the One-Acts (stage managing) and was a chorus member in Little Shop. But somehow...I got enough hours.
I might run for Thespian office this year- Sec/Tres or Historian.

Sadly I didn't get it in till sphmore year because I hadn't done enough shows as a freshie. But I am in now! I am running for Historian and Paint crew head next year and I can't wait

today was tap day for our ITS troup. this os one of my favorate days out of the year because everyone is so happy!

I was just inducted with honours. I should have done it last year, but I was being lazy. sweatdrop And now I have to transfer when I move. crying

I had the points in high school to be in ITS. But the president didn't like me so wouldn't let me in. Whatever.
To answer everyone's question about "does it carry over after high school?":
You are a member for life. BUT, once you graduate you aren't an active member anymore. At the college level (graduate and undergrad) ITS is replaced by Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honors fraternity.

I'll be an International Honor Thespian by the end of my Junior year.

I ended my freshman school year with 39.5 points!
Hopefully next year I'll honor as a sophomore and get my letterman *dances*
I love how they had International Honor and Nation Honor Thespian. Thats so cool!

I've been in ITS since sophomore year, and served as secretary this past year (it was a fluke, though - since only 3 people in the grade above me were in it this past year, and one already had an arts leadership position, I had to do it. I refused to be president for my senior year). We don't really get much done, since we meet basically once every two week for 30 minutes (crappy scheduling by the school). But our president next year is a good tech girl - she'll get things done ^_^
