*Tavin let out a deep sight, and sat down on the floor, his back resting against the bar*
Wow.... Never in my life as an Angel could I have ever imagined that one day I would be a father...
*Tavin looked over at Robyn and smiled*
..... OR a husband.

'quite, i don't think no one expects what a beer-stain may lead' Robyn said with a smile, blinking over towards Maggie, biting down onto her lip before she walked over towards her. Looking down towards the half sleepy Thea, she gave Maggie a smile. Her tail and ears twitching nervously for a few moments.
'i know youve had one of your own...would you like to hold her for a minute? I know your a friend of mine and Tavin's and i would love the kid's to grow up around not just us but friends and family too' Robyn half muttered, watching her husband for those few minutes as he said the words about herself and the kids, before blinking back towards Maggie.

*Tavin watched the two of them talk and leaned back, closing his eyes. Finally, everything seemed to be going okay... Finally everyone seemed happy....... Tavin slowly drifted off into a peaceful sleep*

*nods to Robyn* I'd count myself more than fortunate to be a part of their lives. *looks down at Thea, and, after looking to Robyn for approval, gently scoops her up*
Well, hello there, sweetheart. *rocks the child slightly in her arms, clearly very at ease dealing with a baby* Aren't you a lovely wee thing? *lifts her head to smile at the proud mother* Might I ask what ye've named them?

'well...theres Thea, the little girl there, and Alexander is sleeping in the cot' Robyn said with a smile, watching the woman gently handle the child, removing the travelling pack she held on her back. Sliding out a blanket she had used for the past few days to sleep under, she tucked it gently over Tavin, bending down to kiss his cheek softly. Before standing once more.
'Thea's the more lively one...well greedy id call her, and Alex well hes extremly curious, never letting one bit about his surroundings go unseen' Robyn said with a happy smile, standing beside the bar top, her back pressing back towards the bartop. The bag down at Tavin's side.
((ooc: kay kay! see you around ^^))

They're darling, the pair of them. *studies Robyn's face, still smiling, but with a look of concern in her eyes* Though I daresay they're a handful at times.

'tell me about it....the night they were born...i ended up giving birth myself...so the first few days of them being around were a nightmare. There a complete handful i must say...but well worth it, and i'm hoping things will be easier with Tavin around' Robyn half muttered, closing her eyes for a moment, before giving Maggie a small half smile. Her tail gave a small twitch though, flicking back against the bartop once.
'its all so new thats all...ive never had kids around...my brother had a baby girl a few years back, Mimi, but really ive only ever seen her once- and that was barely 2 weeks ago and shes four now. Most things came straight away...but its just figuring out what to do every so often' Robyn continued on with, her gaze watching over little Thea.

'Tis a hard job, to raise a child on yer own. I daresay doubly so with twins. *sighs slightly, tracing the outline of Thea's face with her hand* I can recall times when I'd have given anything for someone to be there with me, for support, for advice . . . *meets Robyn's eyes* I know there's not much I can do for you outside of this place, but . . . while we're both here, please dinna hesitate to ask for anything. Even if ye only need a sympathetic ear. I'd be glad to do whate'er I can.

Robyn couldn't help but smile at this, meeting Maggies gaze with her own, as she nodded a little. Pushing herself away from the bartop she stood by the woman once more, one hand rested upon the crib in which alex laid fast asleep, giving Maggie that same grateful smile.
'thank you...it means a lot Maggie it really does...i'm really not sure what to do when i get out of here. I may go stay with my brother again, taking the twins with me, but...its so hard being alone now. It was different when myself and Tavin used to live in an inn where we were both resident cleaners...sorry to burden you' she whispered, exhaling a small sigh, before shaking her head lightly. She didn't really want to burden Maggie with her problems, she was sure she had enough problems on her mind, without her and the twin's problems.

*seeing Thea has fallen asleep, lays her down gently in the crib, and turns her attention back to Robyn* Ye're not burdening me, not at all. *reaches out to take her hand, giving it a squeeze* Ye must feel so overwhelmed by it all.

'i have to admit i am...i'm a mother of two....i'm only 20...i never regret them don't get me wrong, i don't regret having them one bit, its just so hard....i tried to tell myself i would cope but its so hard Maggie' Robyn whispered, watching the twin's sleep in the crib, squeezing Maggie's hand back. Her touch was cold, a tad clammy, but Robyn gave her a smile all the same.
'what was it like....a few months after your little one was born? i heard you had a son?' Robyn asked, a curious look printed accross her face, trying to get a different story to tell herself everything would be ok.

*rubs Robyn's hand a bit, both to warm it up and comfort her, and nods* Aye, Will. *sighs, thinking back* Peter . . . my husband . . . was still alive when he was born, so the first few months were'na so hard. When he passed, though . . . there were times, then, that I didna know if we'd get by at all. Will was still just a wee babe. I was sixteen then, and I'd never been on my own before. I'd left my parent's home to go with Peter. *shakes her head, as if to clear away sadder thoughts* I managed though. I found work, a way to keep a roof over our heads, food in our bellies. 'Twasn't easy, but ye get better at it with time. And seeing yer child happy and healthy makes it worthwhile.

'yeah...sorry to hear about your husband but i'm glad everythings worked out for you now' Robyn finally spoke after a few moments of silence, giving Maggie a smile, seeming stunned by her story. Robyn's tail gave a small flick, the white tip flicking accross the floor, until she squeezed Maggie's palm once more.
'though...that does teach me one thing...when i get back down there...i need to get a roof over my head' Robyn said with a small half smile, thinking of going to get another cleaning job, before deciding to take her thoughts back towards the matter in hand. Her palm tightened around Maggie's suddenly, biting down hard onto her lip.
'Maggie...i'm just so scared...that i won't be able to provide them with what they need....i came from a household where food was plentyful, everyone was happy, and life was good'

I know 'tis frightening, but ye'll find a way. Children bring ye strength ye didna know ye had. And yer friends here will do what we can for ye given the limits of this place, as will Tavin. 'Tis not as much as ye deserve, but . . . 'tis something. Have faith, my friend. Yer children have a good mother. *releases her hand briefly to retrieve a small drawstring pouch from her waist, pouring a few coins out of it and pressing them into Robyn's hand* I hope this may help ye get by for now.
