Stresshog I recently got an Xbox 360 as a birthday present. I got no games yet, but despite my hatred of Microsoft, the 360 is a pretty awesome console. I'm waiting for Mass Effect to come out, and am gathering together money to get Dead Rising. I'd get Elder Scrolls IV, but...well, Daggerfall was so much better. I think I'll just borrow Morrowind off a friend. Anyway, I must away to bed. Fare thee well, Guild. So I buy myself Perfect Dark Zero off eBay. I'm halfway through the singleplayer, and a friend asks to borrow it. It's only for a day, and he'll let me borrow Oblivion for as long as I want, so I agree. I get the disk back afterwards, and start playing co-op with another friend, only to discover every odd-numbered singleplayer mission is broken. I examine the disk to find two distinct rings of scratches. scream ...at least Multiplayer still works, though my internet connection is too slow to play online without getting kicked from the game for lagging. stressed P.S. Disgaea 2 came out in America yesterday.

Wow. That sucks. Did your friend change the position of his unit while playing the game?

I completed summoner 2 the other day.
It has a funny movie at the end.
It was worth completing it just for that.

So what do European Gaians think about Sony's decision to abandon us to our fate until March? No PS3 for us, for we are unimportant.
Good job I was planning on getting a Wii anyway. Although I draw the line at wandering into a shop and actually asking for one. Thank you, internet smile

Roobarb Pokemon... Ahh... I miss playing that. I never got Gale Of Darkness but we have Colloseum. I borrowed it off a friend and completed it in 2 weeks. Completed as in, caught and purified all the shadow pokemon.

At the moment they seem to be making a lot of games that look fantastic but you finish really quickly. It was the same with the Yu-Gi-Oh one War Of The Roses. I really liked the new rules and seeing the little 3D monsters on the cards but I completed that game in a week and then there wasn't much else to do....
Where as the old one I have on my PS1 (I forget which version...) I still haven't completed. And probably never will. But I can keep trying.
Same with the new and old Soul Reaver/Kain games. Soul Reaver 3 was excellent but over too quickly! And considering the price you pay for games now... well, I think they've got a bit of a nerve robbing me of my playing time.

Hairy Priest Wow. That sucks. Did your friend change the position of his unit while playing the game? http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/news/Xbox-360-Game-Disc-Scratched.htm Well I assume so. That or his dog knocked it over. When he buys a copy of PDZ, he's agreed he'll trade the working copy for my broken one because he only wants multiplayer anyway. But instead of buying a copy, he instead buys Dead Rising. Graaagh. Warnersister So what do European Gaians think about Sony's decision to abandon us to our fate until March? No PS3 for us, for we are unimportant. I don't really want a PS3 anyway, and it's not like I have enough money for one. I'll get a Wii, I'll get Dead Rising and a few other 360 games and then I'll be content with my next-gen consoles. So a delay for PS3 means a delay for the reminder that I am broke. Roobarb Soul Reaver 3 was excellent but over too quickly! And considering the price you pay for games now... Soul Reaver 3? Don't you mean Defiance? Well, you know more about Soul Reaver than me so I'll try not to question you.

I want a Wii. Red Steel and LoZ: Twilight Princess are gonna rock! I also really want LoZ: Phantom Hourglass, Final Fantasy 3 and MegamanZX. 'Course, I need to actually get a job first...

Corpse_Marker My cousin and I have been addicted to Dynasty Warriors. 3nodding Argh! I'm still trying to track down a copy of DW5. *grumbles* I sort of prefer Samurai Warriors (+XL to fix all the stupid stuff, like growth caps), because the missions in each stage make it a bit more interesting. On the other hand, I loathe those pointless SW castles... stare
