Miika also wore reading glasses, although he had no need for them. It was just another way of seeming more mortal, in a way. He offered a smile to Koji, although it had no meaning behind it.. Though that could be expected from him. He reached up and twirled a few strands of Koji's blue hair around his fingers before he gave a light shrug, not minding that the other had taken a seat on his lap. Afterall, earlier he had pulled the other into his lap when he took him in as his studen.
"Whatever it is that you desire to learn about vampires or myself, Koji. Surely you have questions that you wish to be answered.. I am here to bring those answers to you the best that I can."

Koji looked at Miika still trying to gather his thoughts. It was true that he had questions for the vampire, but he wasn't sure which one he wanted to ask first. Glancing away and then back to the vampire he sat on his lap thinking for a moment. "Hmm don't vampire's have ghoul's that help them?" He asked Miika thinking of movies and books he had seen and read. He just wanted to know if it was true or not. He also hoped that it wasn't a stupid question.

Miika raised a brow at the question, but didn't laugh. Obviously it wasn't a stupid question, but a rather intelligent one. Closing his eyes for a moment, he nodded as he thought of the proper answer to such a question. It wasn't so easy to answer. Finally he settled on one, though it probably wasn't the best.
"A very excellent question, Koji. It is written in many books and played out in many movies, and to be quite honest, only very few can hold the power to posess a ghoul. The Cappadocian are one of the only few who can have ghouls do their dirty work. The rest of us rely on our underlings to do so. They're known as the "Clan of Death" and are shunned by even their brethren for their macabre interests. They search for the secrets of life, death and what lay beyond. They have learned much about the nature of their existence, still, the secretive nature of the clan has caused many people to fear them as respect them. The Cappadocian had also embraced a group of necromancers who betrayed them, killed most of them, and became the Giovanni..."

Enyalius opened his eyes slowly, his mind still floating halfway between sleep and full consciousness. "Well now," he observed from what it occured to him was a wonderfully objective distance, "I think I can safely say that was a unique experience." He realized that he was not in his house, that he was in a stranger's bed, but after a moment he lost interest in his surroundings. His mind drifted again for an indeterminate length of time, it could have been seconds, or days for all he knew.
After a while his nerves began reporting their subservience to his conscious mind again, and he slowly raised himself to a sitting position and looked around. "Hmm," he said to himself, "I appear to be all in one piece and little the worse for the experience." He touched the side of his neck, feeling the healing wounds, and dismissed them as inconsequential. "So, vampires do indeed exist, how singularly amazing."
He reached into his left breast pocket and removed the pen digital recorder, tapping the 'stop' button to end the recording he started with the pressure on the recorder back outside. He scanned backwards and listened to the encounter once again, making sure his memory of the event was unclouded. He was pleased to note that Miika was true to his word and had left his mind unaltered.
Miika... What an interesting person. He slowly stood, his legs slightly wobbly from loss of blood volume, but less so than he had experienced before, and walked to the door. He swung it open and looked out into the hallway. "Miika, are you around here?"

Miika growled softly and stood, setting Koji in the seat as he walked towards the door leading into the library. Opening it slowly, putting his glasses on as he grabbed a book, he walked out and looked at Enyalius. He didn't think something was quite right. Could he really trust the cat with such a secret that could easily put him to his death? Walking over, he stood directly infront of the cat in the small hallway, leaving the cat with no escape as he looked down at him, an obvious look of doubt on his face.
"Is there something you needed, Enyalius?"
Miika eyed the cat carefully. Yes, he knew something was wrong. He had a feeling that the cat took the knowledge in with more than just his brain. He eyed the pen and reached down, gently putting a hand on Enyalius' chest instead of grabbing the pen, when he could have. Pushing the cat backwards into the room, in a gentle manner, he closed the door behind him and locked it, then spoke in a soft voice.
"Is that an every day pen, Enyalius? Don't lie, I can tell when my victims are lying."

Enyalius smiled. "Of course it's not a normal pen. This is one of my toys, a micromini digital audio recorder. As I said, I am not *quite* as trusting as I appear. I wanted to make sure you were telling me the truth." He tosses the pen recorder to Miika. "You were, and your secret is safe with me. I had that as my legacy weapon, a bit of truth that would be revealed if I did not survive." He nods at the pen. "That was my only recording device, and the only one I will ever use. My life was in your paws, and you followed your word to a weaker being. You have my trust."

Miika caught the pen with ease and held it as if it carried a disease. He dropped it onto the ground and crushed it beneath his foot, then picked up the remains and tossed them out of the window, straight into the lake. He turned and growled at Enyalius then walked towards the door, turning back around to face him with cold, untrusting eyes.
"How flattering, Enyalius. I've brought you a playmate."
Opening the door, he went into the hall and unlocked a barely noticable room. Grabbing a small, naked cat by the wrist, he tugged him into the room with Enyalius and closed the door. Growling at the two cats, he walked over and grabbed some clothes, dropping them in Ryland's lap before he turned his eyes back to Enyalius.
"Be a good boy and play quietly with your new doll. You should be happy, I went out and caught him myself just so that you would have some one to keep you company. If you haven't realized it already, wherever you go, I'll be following, or I'll have you followed. If your life was in my paws, I take it literally. By saying that, you as good as belong to me."
Walking over to Enyalius, he put an arm around his waist, holding the younger boy against his chest for a few moments before leaning down and biting his neck. This time he didn't drink, and it felt just as good as the last, but without blood being drawn. Removing his fangs from the skin, he didn't lick it. Instead, he put a finger beneath Enyalius' chin and smiled, though his eyes still showed heavy distrust.
"I've given you my mark. You're lucky I keep my promises. If any other vampire touches you, or boy for that matter, I'll know... You best learn to be anti-social, or at least anti-touched, because blood will get spilt over you now..."
Miika looked down at Ryland, gave a small growl, then sat down on the bed after making sure the door was locked. He wanted to see how Enyalius would react to the other cat being presented in such a horrible way. In truth, Miika asked Ryland to behave as if he were injured, and play the part of Enyalius' 'doll' in exchange of Miika sparing his life.
"Think of it this way... By giving you my mark and making you my own, you won't be touched by other vampires that are less likely to keep their word... There are others, and some get more pleasure from killing than feeding. So, try not to get too riled up, and don't think I have any plans for you that involve the bed. You have your own room, your own bed, your own privacy."

Koji sat in the chair as he watched Miika walk away. "Alright now I understand." He said to him knowing he would hear his answer. He thought about the answer he got and it was about the same answer that he read in few book.
Letting out a sigh he looked down at his knees wondering what he should ask next. "So then what kind of vampire are you or you or what clan are you from?" He asked him hearing something about clans in a book he read. Little did anyone know, but he liked to read dark and mysterious things. He just kept it to himself most of the times because some people thought it was weird. He just was happy his roommates didn't mind.

Slowly standing up, he walked to the door and unlocked it, opening it up. He stepped out into the hall, and left it open, though he went around and locked all the other doors with a key that only he had. He didn't trust Enyalius, not just yet, and Ryland was just playing his part to keep himself alive.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a student to teach."
He said before he turned around and walked back into the library, grumbling softly to himself before sitting down, shifting so that Koji was back in his lap, one arm loosely around him, still grumbling.
"Kids these days... Can't trust them one bit."
Looking up at Koji with one hand one finger on his forehead, making sure his other arm was just loosely wrapped around the other boy, he sighed softly and shook his head, chuckling just a little bit at the question.
"I am an independent. I don't much like clans, you've always got rivals, even if your Sect, so I decided to go out on my own, refusing to join any clan that I was offered into. Too many politics. Not to mention, I don't have to partake in wars that are started amongst clans if I'm on my own."

Koji listened to him attentively hearing the answer he gave. It was actually a good thing that Miika was independent because if he was in this house with others from his clan he would of been either sucked dry or turned. He didn't want either at the moment and hoped the first one would never happen.
Looking down at Miika's hand with his green eyes he thought for a moment. "It's actually a good thing that you are on your own. If I was here with say your sect or group whatever you want to call it. I might have been turned into a vampire or I might have been a snack for someone." He said to him still looking at the vampire's hand.
His eyes then trailed away from it as he wanted to ask him another question. "When you need blood and bite someone. It's better to bite someone that is intelligent then someone that is I guess you could say stupid. Like you would choose a Doctor over a bum right?" He asked him wondering what his answer was going to be.

Miika listened to what he had to say before he laughed softly and nodded his head. Koji was probably right, he would have been an official blood bag, and eventually, turned if he lived with a clan. Blinking at his next question, he laughed softly and shook his head, taking off his glasses to set them down on a table.
"That is where you would be wrong.."
Miika leaned his head against Koji's shoulder, trying to relax and calm down after he had gotten so worked up after finding out that Enyalius had a recorder all along. His trust for that cat certainly flew out the window, and it would be hard at working to get it back.
"We perfer the bums... Blood is simply that - blood. Intelligence has no effect on the blood.. However, we have to be careful if we feed off a bum, or even a doctor.. Diseased blood does not taste good. It tastes like rusty metal.. Although we can't get infected ourselves, tainted blood is no joy to drink. If you're next question is why we would choose the bum, the answer is simple. He's less important. He's someone nobody pays attention to, or hardly even notices, and when he goes on and on about getting attacked, they'll just assume he's talking crazy. As with a Doctor, since they have a way with choosing words carefully, they'll say something that people are more likely to believe, thus ending up in a hunt for the vampire."
Miika thought for a few moments before he lifted his head, laying it back against the chair.

Enyalius listens quietly to Miika. He had long ago developed a fine sense of when to shut up and listen. He nods as the wolf exits the room, and listens to him enter the library, then walks over and kneels down by the other feline. "Are you injured?" He looks him over quickly, searching for any sign of outward damage, ignoring the minor bleeding wound on his own neck, it will stop on its own given some time, and this other cat could be in more dire strates. "My name is Enyalius, what is yours?" His voice is soft, and he moves slowly so as not to alarm the smaller feline.

Koji thought about his answer and he knew he was right becuase he was after all a vampire. His green eyes looked to the glassed that he placed on the table. "Oh okay. I just was making sure." He said to him as he wiggled around a little bit on Miika's lap. Curling his coon tail around himself he wondered what Enyalius was up to, but then again he really didn't want to move at the moment.
Perking his blue ears up slightly he was curious to how old Miika was. "So how old are you then?" He asked him turning his head slightly to look at the wolf anthro. He knew for a fact that vampires lived for a very long time so he was expecting a big number from Miika.

Ryland looked up at Enyalius and stood up slowly, pulling on the boxers first, then the shirt, and the last thing was the pants. He walked around the room before he sat down on the bed. Nodding his head softly, he watched the other feline carefully.
"I'm fine..."
--
Miika raised his brows and laughed softly, shaking his head as he moved his arm so that Koji could move freely. He leaned his head back and rubbed his hand across his forehead, as if he actually had to think about how old he was.
"Too old... Far too old.. Thousands of years old, if I can even remember correctly. I just like to say I'm 25.. it's easier to remember.

Koji giggled at his answer before getting up from his lap. Stretching a bit he looked back at Miika. "I knew you were going to say that. I feel young now compared to you." He said with a laughed before sitting on the floor. Leaning back he put his hands on the ground behind him to keep him stable.
His green eyes continued to stare at the vampire. "Hmm are vampires weaker then werewolves? I think you would be since a werewolf has more strength then a vampire, but I am probably wrong." He said to the older anthro with a slight smile.
