I'm so afraid of becoming old it's pathetic.
This is why I live every day as if there's no tomorrow. =D
(No not really.)
I just make every single day special!

PsychodelicPenguin cloudyhead PsychodelicPenguin I'm more worried of the responsibility of aging rather than the facial and physical changes. confused If i'm lucky, I'll get my mom's genes. She's 52 and does not have a wrinkle on her face. ^__^ my moms 5'2'' and has acne. i have wrinkles gonk from stress... wich reminds me, never get fat and loose weight after 30. i was looking at my moms wedding pictures a while ago (she was in late 20's) and she had a really kicking rack. she got fat and lost the weight and its no where near the same. just a warning for all. That's what plastic surgery is for... To help tighten skin that's saggy. That's what I figure! I've actually thought about doing that when I'm old.
I don't care if it's 'buying into society's image of beauty' or whatever, I'm going to be a lolita forevaaaahhhhh pirate 4laugh

If you're old and you still wear lolita that must mean that you're a true lolita. I guess getting old might be a little scary but that doesn't mean you won't be able to pull it off or anything. Just be healthy. ^_^

pssst, it's EGA, not EGLA. ^_^;;
Hey, You can go till you're 40-something, if you take good enough care of yourself, in my opinion.
I knew a 22 year old who looked 10. It was frightening.

As I get older, I'll move away from the girly designs, and get more into classical and longer styles smile Gothic & Lolita fashion can suit all ages, so long as you pick styles and colours that suit your appearance.

I just realized something amusing. When I was younger, I dreamed of being an adult and never wanted to wear dresses... And now I wanna wear dresses and be a kid...

Ninja_Daisy Is anyone else like me? I fear getting old! I want to open and run a cafe where the waiters wear EGLA and the waitresses wear Ama Lolita but I'm scared I might not be able to pull off Ama, or even Gosurori at all, forever. sad I know it's silly to worry, I'm 15, I'm still young! But days turn into months and months into years and, just wow emo I feel your pain, dear. I am in my mid 20s and I do my best not to age. I'm often mistaken for a 13-16 year old. So I would have to imagine I'm doing a good job, thus far. sweatdrop However you must remember that worrying ages the skin. Stress is not your friend if you wish to stay young. Youth is innocent and without worry. Keep that frame of mind and you should be able to maintain a sense of youth no matter how many years pass you by. I also have the dream of having a cosplay cafe where the waitresses are dressed in lolita and cosplay. It's a shame I'm far too lazy to get started on it. sweatdrop Plus it would take away from my clothing money.

I have a book with a section in it that describes cosplay cafés in Japan. But they only really seem to appeal to otaku., and I think it would be a similar thing with a Lolita café. So it's a great idea, I think, but not really mainstream (Then again, since it would be different, you might get a lot of curious people. But I'm sure there would be some perverts too.)

im the same. im very very frightened of getting too old. that i wont be able to do the things ive always wanted to do that you can only do when your young. but loli is ment to make you look younger so i dont think it really matters. and once you get really old (im talking like 60-80 ) you can switch to classic lolita 4laugh see it all works out! biggrin

As morbid as it sounds, I don't plan on living long enough to get wrinkles and be old.

Once mychasi gets old, mychasi'll have to find more ways to have fun...but...not really afraid per se. There's still a lot of time, if every day is brought to it's fullest, which is pretty rare. But we'll work harder, raaawr!!
Really though, still too young to seriously consider such a fate. xp
