As Rahu left he heard her say Delano and he knew he had heard that name before. And to him it was as if she was calling out to this Delano. For some reason it made his blood boil to think she would do that and even more so when he heard even Delano calling to her. A sly smirk came across his face as he stalked back around in the shadows of the trees trying to keep quite enough so he could sneek up on them. He was more than curious as to why Aruna of all would cry out to anyoneand why this stallion was looking for her. And because of this his respect for her lesson as he stalked back to sneek up on them.

Delano perked his ears listening, standing still and silent. And then he heard his name called...very faint...almost as if it was hoarse and labored. Fear entered his heart...what is Aruna was in danger? He thundered the direction the voice had come from, his hooves loud and clear for any nearby to hear. He came to a clearing and saw her there...lying on the ground. He rushed towards her, fearing he was too late. "Aruna! My Golden Angel.....are you ok? please speak to me?" He nuzzled her head as his eyes inspected her body, noting the injuries and the blood. First he needed a sign of life...he couldn't lose her now...not after finally finding her.

Her ears picked up the sound of familiar thundering hooves... followed by a nuzzle, something she thought she'd never feel again (not that she could help it; she was injured quite badly) and she opened her eyes, breathing gently. "...Delano..." she whispered, her mouth twisting into a slight smile. "...I hope I'm okay... things don't look too well, do they, eh?" she continued in her whispering voice. She had yet to notice that Rahu had come back... but then again, she hardly cared anymore. He could go and run off a cliff and she wouldn't cry--her heart was cold toward him, stone. "...You came to my rescue again, huh?" she said, lifting her head slightly to nuzzled Delano. "...Thank you..."

Rahu laughed as he came trough the trees. “My golden angel? Are you supposed to be her knight in shining armor that has come to rescue her?” his blood still boiled with anger as he now walked around the two. “Such pity I have for you Aruna most of all for the fact I never thought I would see the day you would ever act like such a pitiful mare. And here I had such respect for you over any other stupid mare. But now I come to find your just like any other.” He spat those words at Aruna knowing full well she would hear them. Snorting in disgust, he could not believe he had fallen for her. Stopping and looking at Delano, he then recognized the unicorn even from just having met him once.

Delano looked her over and met her gaze again. "I can help...."He whispered to her. "I can heal it. but it will leave a scar. sadly I cannot heal a scar. What happened aruna? Who did this?" He nuzzled her and as he did so he heard a voice bellow out...He recognized it...Rahu? He had only met him once. He turned with eyes blazing red in anger.... "I'll deal with you after. I need to heal her wound first before she bleeds to death" His words were sharp and his voice deep. He moved to where she bled, lowering his horn and letting it touch slightly. Slowly the wound stopped bleeding, and soon it closed, healing up leaving nothing more then a scar...a mark and reminder of this day. He moved in to nuzzle her once more, reassuring her it be alright. He turned to Rahu. "And what exactly would you know of anything Rahu? Yes I call her my golden angel for that is what she is. She was kind and gentle and accepting of me when others were not. Not that the likes of you would care. You have no honor!" He bellowed now...angry at how Rahu would insult Aruna. "You who refuse to even help her when clearly she was dying? Yes I did come to her rescue. I had intended to come visit her and I am happy I did for she would have bled to death." Delano had no idea yet that it was Rahu who had done this to Aruna....oh how he would explode if he found out. "Do you even know who is responsible for such a monsterous act on such a lovely kind mare?" He moved forward, still angry at this stallion but staying close enough to shield Aruna as well. He would protect her at all costs. "Pity her all you want, she had no strength to save herself from losing so much blood. Had I been a stallion like you and not a unicorn, she very well would have died here tonight. You are heartless, thoughtless and cruel to just stand and watch someone dying. You who broke her heart and threw away the love she had for you. that is your loss. I do not intend to make the same mistake as you. You do not deserve her... " In that instant he had basically confessed his feelings for Aruna. He glared at Rahu, challenging him to make a move and attack. He himself would not attack without more reason, buthe would not leave Aruna's side either. He did not trust this Rahu.

Aruna watched in amazement as her wound slowly healed, though it left a scar... unfortunately. "...A scar... well..." she slowly rose, finally able to stand. She came to Delano's side, letting her head rest over his back. "...I suppose I can... deal... with a scar..." She felt so pained. Rahu's words had really stung her... sharper than when he had struck her. She didn't particularly want Delano to know that it was Rahu himself who had given her such a horrible wound. She blinked upon hearing Delano's words. Did he truly...? she found herself at a loss of words, too stunned. So... She hid a smile. The feelings were mutual, it seemed... "Why did you come, Rahu?" she asked, deliberately leaving the word "back" out, for her original question had been 'Why did you come back, Rahu?' but she didn't want Delano to be involved. He was precious to her... more precious than Rahu could ever be.

“And what exactly do you know Delano. You only know how she felt and know nothing of me or how I felt over the whole thing.” He got up in Delano’s face already angered. “You have no clue how much it tore me inside to let her go and watch her become heart broken. And I will say it again you have no clue of who I am or how I feel.” Not bothering to say how she got the wound he snorted. “Aruna I’m sure you can think of why I would come back that’s not hard. I won’t say why but I will say one thing to you here and now. If you want to find out why I ever did what I did then go find me when you want.” With that he started to walk off, his rage was still boiling.

Delano felt Aruna's head on his back and knew she was now next to him. His eyes flashed in anger as Rahu got into his face. He stood tall, proud, towering over Rahu with his height. He pulled his lips back, his teeth somewhat snappish as he spoke to Rahu. "If you had really loved her then you would have stayed it through and not let her go, breaking ehr heart and her very spirit like that. You played games with her heart, very cruel games that hurt her deeper then you will ever know!" He strucka hoof out as warning for Rahu to get out of his face. "I may not know of how you felt, but your actions speak much louder then the words you speak Rahu." And then his head tilted as Rahu said 'back'. "Back? meaning..." he looked at Aruna.....the wound and looked back at Rahu, and slowly the pieces fit together. He snarled in anger, "You were the brute that did this to her? Well that is not love....You never harm the one you claim to love...EVER!" He watched Rahu turn and walk away, his body tensed. He would not attack from behind but he would get his attention and then face to face he would teach this stallion a lesson in how a lady was to be treated. He yelled at him...hissing the last few words, "Rahu you coward! Face me! or do you only enjoy beating down mares?"

She blinked at Delano's outburst. Everything about this one night so far was surprising her, and she was never surprised... much. She hesitated, then whispered painfully, "...He angered me, Delano. I... I started the fight. I had never meant to--but... But I did." She squeezed her eyes shut, pulling away, feeling great guilt. "I... lost my composure... my calm. I was just so... angry..." she opened her eyes, and turned a sharp glare at Rahu. "But I suppose it was in the right." She turned so that she was looking at Rahu, facing his turned back. "Not only did you break my heart, Rahu..." Her sharp glare faded as her voice became softer, eyes looking very dull. "...You broke my spirit. And that spirit used the last of its energy in rage... I saw red. And black... You. And rashly, I attacked... but foolishly..." She was whispering now, eyes cast down. "...and then you struck." She turned away, around, the moonlight hitting her side, the newly healed scar almost seeming to glow. "Rahu's Mark"... I will bear it... forever... Her heart thudded hard against her chest. How much more pain could she take...?

Rahu stopped right in his tracks and did not even bother to turn around. “Delano do not make me repeat myself again. YOU KNOW NOTHING of what has happened between her and I. and for your information I never played games with her.” He snarled out at Delano still with his back to the both of them knowing full well he would not be attacked. “And she is right she attacked me and I defended. I never meant to make that mark but i won’t make any excuses of how that mark ended up there.” Finally turning around, he faced Delano with a smirk and gave one last snarl. “I never enjoy beating down a mare but I would enjoy beating you down so bring it.”

Delano barely heard Aruna but he listened, eyes still fixed on Rahu with an angry glare. "You had every right to be angry and even try to teach this BRUTE a lesson Aruna....do not let him make you feel at fault. " His voice was soft as he spoke to her, but it regained its sharp snap as he directed his next words to Rahu. "It is one thing to handle an attacking mare but another to injure her so badly and leave her for dead Rahu. You are a cold killer, even of those you claim to love. I see no love, no caring in your dark heart heart. And so you should be reminded of your place and how to properly treat a lady. " and without further words his body tensed as they prepared to spring to action. He wondered for a moment if Aruna would try to stop them.....but he would teach this stallion a lesson.....he would make him pay for nearly killing Aruna. His eyes blazed with rage and anger, but he calmly walked forward to meet Rahu. His eyes never left his opponent, a short distance left between them as he stood proudly, head held high. "And I shall be the one to teach you that lesson Rahu!"

Aruna felt better as Delano spoke to her in his soft tone, comforting her. She wouldn't stop him from fighting--she that he, as a stallion and a unicorn--and being him, of course--he would fight, and she felt that it would only help him to feel better. (Goodness, it would help her feel so much better...) But Rahu was still her friend. She turned to watch, mentally fighting with herself. Should she stop them? She should let them fight? The two questions ran around her mind, and finally, she chose to let them fight. Perhaps Rahu would learn something from this... whoever that stallion he had met was (she would find out who this male was...), he had been brutal, for he had returned Rahu to his cold-hearted self. She had been so close... and then... she was just out of reach. But no more. Now she was at a distance, pushed away by force. "Be careful... Delano..." she whispered, fearing for him. Rahu was experienced in fighting... but Delano, she didn't know. Unicorns were famous for their kindness and healing powers; she wasn't so sure about fighting.

Rahu did not bother to listen to Delano’s words at all. He watched him walk right up to him and Rahu just smirked. Being experienced in fighting, he could easily hold his own. But then that horn of Delano’s just might make it hard on him. “Teach me a lesion I would love to see you do that. And you still know nothing about what happened” He hissed out at Delano as he pinned his ears back and bared his teeth. Oh how he was going to enjoy this fight as Delano closed the distance between them both. Giving a snarl, he ready himself to fight and did not care that Aruna did not step in to break them up. Actually he was quite happy she did not break up the fight.

Delano turned a glance back to Aruna. "I will be my angel. Need not worry, but please keep a safe distance. I do not want you hurt" He smiled briefly before turning his gaze back to Rahu, his expression as cold and calculated as Rahu's. He did not fight unless he had to, but he was well seasoned and experienced. He knew it would not be easy. Rahu was a cold, heartless brute. He knew Rahu would show no mercy, ruthless to the very end he would be. He let his thoughts gather and pushed everything else out of his mond for the moment. He needed to be alert and to concentrate...no distractions. He watched Rahu smirk confidently...even as if cocky really, but his own expression remained set like stone showing no emotion now. "And so I shall school you." He stood there, waiting to see Rahu's first move. "I need not know Rahu, nor would you tell anyways. Your actions tell more of a story then your words ever could. and for that you will learn..and you will pay for leaving her for dead...for injuring her that way...and for breaking her like no one else could...or would." He watched Rahu with teeth bared, and pulled his own lips back into a snarl, gleaming white teeth showing and accepting the challenge. He tooks few steps forward at a slow canter, closing the gap between them quickly.

“How about less talk, and more action Delano.” Rahu knew better to be cocky after his fight with Shetan. Still having bared teeth and pinned back ears, he snapped at Delano once he was close enough. Quickly steping away after he snapped at Delano, he awayed for his response to it. Giving a low snarl, he was going to have no regrets over this.
