Growth Spurts
The days had grown quiet since Takiko's talk with Sjestaia, though the adult felt that nothing really was accomplished. A toddler may comprehend, but sometimes Taki felt that Taia just didn't understand, or chose not to. Settled down on her couch, the teenager relaxed and curled deeper under her blanket. The snows fell hard that day, and the only warm room was the one with the fireplace; the living room.
"Hey Taki, you want any hot chocolate? I'm getting ready to boil some water." The soft call of her brother brought her out of her thoughts, and she just turned to look blankly over the couch. When she realized he directed the question at her, a soft chuckle sounded from her lips before she shifted once again.
"Yes please, and make sure to add two marshmallows this time, the ones I’ve got are so small..." Trailing off, she stretched her arms above her head with a yawn, before moving to stand. The blankets fell at a heap by her fee
