Karama catches the fish in her jaws, not wanting to let the fish Keone had caught flop into the water, paddling in circules for a few moments as to not sink in, she didn't swim as much, so it was perhaps a little harder to sit still. When Keone resurfaced, she might have attempted to talk, but didn't, not wanting to move her paws to the fish and loose balance, or drop the fish either.
Instead, all she could talk, was very muffled by fish.
"Wuht dis ohn oh at ohn? "
She attempts to ask, lowering her nose to indicate the fish she held, then raising it to indicate the fish he had.

 Keone's head tilted, his expression a bit confused about what she was asking. With the fish in her mouth he couldn't understand her, and it took several moments and a few tries of repeating her gesture before it clicked enough for him to guess that she was asking which of the two fish he wanted.
He thought about that for a moment. Both fish were about the same size and were the same type, and it would have been easier to just keep the ones they had rather than risking them falling back into the water. But he had also already taken a bite out of the other fish, so perhaps it was more fair to trade?
Lifting his paws from the water, the leopard sank his talons into the fish, holding it firmly so that he could pull the fish from his mouth and speak.
"I think they're both the same...except I took a bit out of that one."

The leopardess shruggeds indifferently, paddling towards the bank, as unlike Keone, she didn't manage to eat in the water, or be as steady as him. Thanks to her constant moving, Karama knew a bit abouteverything, but she wasen't too good with many of them, and swimming was likely her worst, and she contented herself with the idea she wasen't too bad at it, afterall, she handled it well, but had limits. Out in the savvannah, there wasen't much safe water.
Climbing out the thewater, fur clinging to her skin, she shaked off the water, dropping the fish but keeping a fim paw over it, it seemed dead enough (Especially with a bite out of it D; ), but fish were weird, and it would be most annoying if it flopped or slid back into the water.
"I can have this one. "
She said indifferently, it didn't really matter if it had a bite out of it. streching out on the bank and lying, still with the fish under her paw, she looked over at Keone to see if he wanted to change.

Keone still couldn't help feeling that it was a bit unfair to give Karama the fish he'd already biten into, but if she didn't mind then it was okay right? He could always give her a bite of the fish he held or catch her another fish.
"'kay."
The fish firmly grasped in his jaws again, the small leopard swam to the shore. Paws finding land, he climbed onto the bank, shook the loose water from his hide, then flopped down next to the dark leopardess. He gave her a silly little grin, nudging her shoulder gently in affection before biting into his fish, tail flicking happily.

Karama smiles, licking his ear affectionatly before putting one paw on her fish's head and one on the tail, beggining to eat. It didn't take to long for her to finish, even though she haden't eaten the entire thing, a few meat clumbs stuck to the bones. She haden't been hungry enough to eat it all.
Using a paw to push it just a little further, so that it wasen't right in her nose anymore, she rests her head on her paws, an ear towards Keone should he say anything, she'd just wait for him to finish before talking, though, partially for lack of anything to say.

The small leopard purred, one paw placed on the head of the still wriggling fish, talons holding it fast. Lowering his head, he took a large bite, chewed, swallowed, then took another, making very short work of his unfortunate prey.
Within a few minutes, the fish was gone, nothing but bones left behind of what had been swiming in the water a short while ago. Grinning, he turned to Karama and noticed that she had finished with her fish, though she hadn't cleaned it as thorougly as he had his.
"Do you want another one?"

The leopardess shakes her head. "'M not hungry. " She murmurs, brushing her head against his neck briefly before slipping back into the water, swatting her paws to splash at Keone.
"Wanna try and find funny fish? Bet here's full of them. And pretty ones, too. "
Some fish were quite shiny, no?

Keone ducked his head, one ear pressing against his head to guard against any of the splashed water that may find it's way to his ear. A grin spread across his maw, tail flicking playfully behind him. So she wanted to play in the water? That sounded like a fun idea to him.
"'kay!"
He stood to his paws, for a moment appearing that he would simply wade into the water as Karama had. But it was all a trick, a moment later he smirked mischeviously before taking a leap forward, propelling his body over Karama into into the water with a great splash, hopefully splattering water all over the dark leopardess.

She blinks as he jumps, slightly afraid he'd land on her, and ducked into the water, pushing deeper so he coulden't land on her in the shallows. He falls almost on her thanks to her attempt to dodge. Stupid shallows, She thinks to herself, peering out of the water for air to be greeted by the waves from Keone's splash, and ends up forced to swallow some water.
She sinks back into the water, nippin at her friends tail, her little revenge for his trick.

Keone grinned, snickering quietly to himself as he watched the dark leopardess. The trick hadn't quite worked out like he'd planned, but it had worked nonetheless; though a part of him felt a guilty for scaring her....well a little...maybe.
His snickers however were quickly broken by a squeeky yelp, and he spun around as he felt something 'attack' his tail only to find Karama there. She had gotten him again, she always did. Someday he'd have to find a way to keep her from doing that, but for now he'd simply get her back by splashing water at her with his paws.

She grins at his suprise, surfacing her head from the water and keeping it in her jaws, though more like just holding it. She drops it to claps between both front paws, only to find it was hard to keep water balance without them. She still tried, even though every few moments she clumsly sunk a bit deeper into the water before going up again.
She grinned smartly, she had suceeded in getting his tail, he haden't gotten hers-- yet. Just in case, she wrapped it around one of her hind legs, so that he coulden't get it, even if it made her moves a bit more clumbsy than they already were-- at least in the water, anyways.
"You swim better, but I got your tail. " She said with a grin, compleetly aware of how dumb she probably looked right now; at least she didn't have to prove anything to Keone to have his company. He had that effect on her; she coulden't manage to be sad with him around.

He spun around, his body twisting in the water to face her, tail flicking against her grasp. A mischevious grin crossed his maw, smirking at her for a brief moment before diving under the water.
She may have had his tail, but he could still swim, and thanks to the length of his tail, he was able to reach his target. But he wasn't after her tail as she may have thought, instead he went for one of her paws, nibbling on it lightly like a fish would.

The leopardess squeaks, almst releacing the tail, but as it escaped her paws she clamped it back in her mouth, and dove back to the water to rescue her paw. She batted at Keone's shoulders with her front paws lightly.
She had to release the tail now, though, and did so, but she could always catch it again. She attempts pulling her paw away, as well, eve thugh not appearing to suceed.

The little leopard smirked, snickering to himself at Karama's reaction, this time he had gotten her. But he soon had to retreat, swimming away from her flailing paws least she strike him by accident. With his tail freed, Keone swam to the surface, taking in a deep breath as his head broke the surface.
Having caught his breath, Keone turned to the leopardess, a broad grin on his maw, the water rippling with the soft purr in his throat.
"Gotcha."

As Keone abcks off, she lets a triumphant snort-like sound escape, mffled by water and followed by the uncomfortable feeling of water entering her nose. She surfaced, inhaling, then exhaling in a half exagerated manner to get the water out.
"So you did, " She said playfully, moving a paw to splash water in his direction, even managing to return it before she lost balance in the water. "I'll have my revenge sometime. "
