xD I when I was reading the part that was near the end of the 1st game...I was looking at the pages that were left to read, thinking 'that's a lot of extras to add...' and apparently those extras were part of the second game sweatdrop

uhh...aside from that, Kite was said to have left because of college and job. BlackRose I bet is the same reason since she is like near Kite's age in the game...
I also bet it will end the same in-game... but off... who know's ^^ Maybe she beats that one girl who in the tourney was in and Akira becomes a successful tennis player? Maybe something like that...

they did actually...recently I went back to the game and he's a random PC just like the whole .hack//sign crew ^^ ...he's also in the ending ^^;;;;
