*Wizard carefully peers around the corner and then sneaks back to Shion.*
It's just a large stone statue. I don't remember large statues being part of the decor.... Is that normal?

Shion shook her head. "No, thats not normal at all. That statue is showing an energy signature. Our options are to rush past it, and try to get down the service tunnel, or see if we have to fight it. What do you think?"

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Well, let's make a run for it and only fight it if we have to. On my mark.

*Wizard dashed around the corner, Shion close on his heels. He kept a careful eye on the statue as he raced by. Just as he was passing it, the statue's eyes popped open and the Gargoyle stepped in between the two Angels, separating them.
*Wizard whirled.*
I guess we no longer have a choice!!

Shion growled, and snatched up the nearby fire extinguisher. Hey, its rock right? Rock gets brittle when its cold. "Wizard! get back!" That said, she squeezed the nozzle on the extinguisher, spraying down the creature with it, cooling it down enough, she hoped, to make it brittle and hard to move. or, failing all else, disorient it a bit.

((Honestly, since most fire extinguishers aren't harmful if you spray them at another person, then I don't think it would make it brittle... blind it maybe, but not like liquid nitrogen. That would do almost as much damage to whatever was on fire as the fire would xp ))
*The gargoyle leapt into the air, much faster than any stone should ever move.*
Rolled a 6, for Cri x3 damage
Rolle 5, 6 for it's dodge
*So the gargoyle was able to make it over the spray, using it's wings to angle down on top of Shion with it's claws. From behind, Wizard also leapt over the fire extinguisher spray too, kicking the Gargoyle in the back, trying to knock it beyond Shion. Too late for it to dodge, the Gargoyle slashes with it's tail to defend*
Rolled a 5, no Crit
Wizard's attack does 45+27 = 72 damage
Gargoyle defends for 20+26 for 46, so takes 26 dam, LIFE = 474
*The Monster is knocked beyond Shion, but rebounds for the attack, before Wizard can land, once again, moving faster than either of them expected. He hits Wizard before he can land or Dodge. Wizard crosses his arms and legs in front of him, trying to block the attack.*
Rolled a 5, no Crit
Gargoyle does 25+28 for 53 dam
Wizard defends for 33+30 for 63 defense, luckily, no damage taken.

As the gargoyle flys over her again, shion drops down, her leg sweeping up in an arc to kick the gargoyle as she performs a backflip.

Rolled 1, 6 so it dodges the attack again.
*Wizard is tired of taking crap from this creature. While it's doding Shion again, he grabs for it's tail, slamming it against the bulkhead.*

Rolled 1, 1 so no dodge
Wizard does 33+27 for 60 dam.
Gargoyle's Nat Def is 16, so it takes 44 dam, LIFE = 430
*The gargoyle whips around, not stunned at all, slashing for Wizard.*
Shion, let's stun this thing and take it down some.
*The air begins to charge around Wizard.*
Rolled a 2, so no Crit
The Gargoyle does 48+28 for 76 dam
Using Magic Guard, Wizard defends for 57+30 for 87
So the attack is reflected back, minus Gargoyles Nat Def of 16, it takes 60 dam, LIFE = 370

Shion nods, and dashes forward, two ports opening in her leg as there's a loud whine from her capasitors, and as she kicks forward, the energy blade springs from the bottom of her foot, which she slashes through the creature as she stomps on it.

Shion hits doing 25+16 x3 for 123 damage
Gargoyles Nat. Def is 16, so it takes 107 dam, LIFE = 263
Rolled a 5, so it's stunned for 3 turns.
*The creature crumples to the floor, shaking as electricity courses through it. Wizard flips forward, his heel catching it in the head and knocking it to the ground.*

It can't dodge or Defend.
Wizard does 47+27 for 74 dam
Nat Def is 16, so it takes 58 dam, LIFE = 205

Shion decides not to try anything fancy, so she just jumps on top of the creature, jumping up and down as hard as she can, focusing on its chest and stomach area.

Shion changes tactics, flipping the creature over with a kick, and seizing its wings, she pulls back before smashing its head down over and over into the deck, hoping to either smash it face up severely, or to rip the wings a bit, so its not so god damned fast.

Oh yeah! That's another one down!
Hey, I really like that Shock Attack move! I'm going to have to learn how to do that someday from you! That is so effective in disabling an opponent so that you can take them down! Honestly, I'm now afraid to be on the receiving end of that someday!

Shion just gives a little laugh. "Your Magic Guard's pretty nice too. Really, they work on the same principle." She walks over to the panel covering the Service tunnel, typing out something on a keyboard that flips down from the wall. "Its just how the static electricity is shaped. Yours is spread out to form a barrier around you to defend with, where as for my Shock Blade, I concentrated it all into a slim blade to attack with. And it would be my pleasure to spar with you some day." As she finishes talking, a hatch in the wall opens, revealing a tunnel heading down with a ladder. "Age before beauty Wizard" She gestures for him to go first.
