I've only seen 3 of them. The original is a mastpiece and 4 is extremely underrated. Great theme music.

I've seen 1, 4, 5, 6 and Ressurection. I agree 4 was pretty good (espicially the ending, whose idea they took and screwed up in no. 5), and the theme music is good but gets annoying after awhile.

I think they should have just stopped after hallowween 5, after that one it all went south after that.
5 was absolutely awful, so many plot holes, and it was just f***ing stupid. Only the ending was good, leading to the enjoyable 6.

They're coming out with another halloween called Halloween: Retribution

I'm not 100% sure what I think about this. John Carpenter is directing it. But I'm still kind of iffy about it. What does everyone else think?
I think it should be OK with Carpenter working on it, but I mean, who is Michael going to kill now that Lauries dead? Wasn't there that child that escape in no. 6?

Who else loves these movies?

I admit that I didn't see the first one until after Scream came out and I saw all the clips they watched on that movie. Love most of the movies except for 3 and Resurrection.

Does anyone know if the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6 has been released on DVD or going to be? I was reading up on it years ago and it's almost like a different movie and explains a lot of things that the present version doesn't.

The Producer's Cut of part 6 is a bootleg and probably won't be officially released.

I love the Halloween series though, Michael is my favorite movie villain. Halloween 9 is supposedly going back to the "old ways" of the series. I hope that doesn't mean an evil candy company with magic television commercials.

I'm pretty sure you're right. Maybe that's who they'll kill. I know there was a girl who won the chance to be in the movie. If you click on the link in my last post you'll see it.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Carpenter is only getting credit for creating the characters and writing the original movie theme (which would, obviously, be adopted in this sequel).

Last time I heard anything about the film's plot, it had something to do with Dr. Loomis' son learning about his father's past with Michael Myers, who he has to stop from terrorizing Haddonfield once again.

Damn, why couldn't the moneyment just deal with Michael Myers dead at the end of the first sequel?

I seen a figurine of Dr. Loomis in a catelog this past week. Had it posed ready to fire at Michael. So tempted to buy it. I already have one of Michael so there'd be no need for another.

Another sequel? gonk I'm still trying to erase the memories of Resurrection from my mind. I read a fan script at one of the Halloween websites years ago that followed events from 6 and it was rather good. Too bad the author didn't send it to movie producers, then at least we'd have something decent to look forward to. I'll still watch it though.

I remember growing up as a kid and being semi-obessed with Micheal Myers, but hes still my favorite serial killer to this day though and the best Halloween movie has to be the first one.

I only like 1, 4, and H20.

Resurrection is terrible, numbers 2 and 3 don't satisfy, and 5 is just awful.

...And Halloween 6 is so horrible, no one ever remembers that it exists.

I was not aware that you also control the "Mcphee" account, and I was talking to you this whole time.

I do not have a problem with anyone, but it certainly sounds like you have a problem with me for finding over half of the series to be horrible. So come on, let's hear what you have to say.

Oh, I remember that one, I believe.

Wait. I think I'm getting my chronology mixed up, I think.

Okay, 6 was absolute s**t, except for Paul Rudd, who is a Hottie McHot. But what the hell was with that druid s**t?

I mean... don't attempt to explain Micheal Myers more than he already has been.

Ugh.

If number 4 was the one where Micheal hunts his Niece, then that's the one I like.

Especially the ending of that one.

It's been a while, but I always liked the stronger points in the series, more than the series as a whole.

I have nothing against you whatsoever. I thought you were trying to be mean in the Michael Myers forum and here. xp Sorry.
