"The white bird, Ligeia?" She questioned, remembering the name and the person though she hadn't really spoken to him much herself, "He was put in charge of the class for a little while, I think he's a good flyer." She was starting to get tired, more from coming off her adreneline rush than anything else. Yawning quietly, she steadied herself a bit more on the branch, just in case she started to doze off.

Ala nodded. "Yeah, Liggy." She grinned at the thought of the owl boy being in charge. Liggy was nice.
And yawning was contagious. When Liang yawned, it caused Ala to yawn. Then again, koalas spent like three-fourths of their day sleeping. But her mom wouldn't be too happy if she fell asleep at the park. Especially when she was supposed to be watching her sister.
Oh yeah. Speaking of her sister, where was she? Ala peered over to the other tree, but couldn't spot Reign. Oh well. Reign would be fine. She hoped. Mommy would be mad at her if something happened to Reign. Like when Ala had tried to give Reign back... Mommy had been mad at her after that.

Looking over toward the parking lot, Liang noticed that her brother had fallen asleep in the van, not strange considering the stress he'd been under lately. Yawning again, she shook her feathers out absently, "I should probably go home, Brother Teagan would be upset if I fell asleep and fell out of the tree. I think maybe I could try flying over the fence though, just to see if I could land on the ground. What do you think?"

Ala stiffled another yawn as Liang spoke. "Yeah. Landing on the ground should be easier than in a tree.... Right?" She perked up a bit as the girl spoke of flying again. She should probably go find Reign and head home soon, too. But first to watch the bird girl fly again. It was cool to watch.

Liang nodded, getting to her feet. She ventured out a bit further on the branch this time, unfurling her wings before she jumped. Maybe she wouldn't have to work so hard if she did it this way. Taking a deep breath, she pushed off hard, beating her wings the way she had found worked best. This time, instead of falling, she rocketed into the air, doing a bit of and unintentional spin because of how her feathers had been mussed by the tree landing. She shook her wings out instinctively, pushing the feathers back into place. "Bye Alaqua, it was really fun meeting you, and flying again!" She shouted, shooting herself off in the direction of the van. She was flying much higher than she needed to to clear the fence, and she was having fun with it. Why had she ever been afraid? All she needed was some practice. She experimented with turns when she reached the parking lot, tilting her wings to go swooping down to the ground slowly in a circle. Now she had to land. Landing.... Now!
She held her breath, slowly pushing her wings back and together so that she touched down on the ground lightly instead of slamming down into it. Yes! She'd done it. She did a little dance, waving back at the tree again before she climbed into the car and woke her brother up.

Alaqua grinned, watching the girl take off. As Liang waved and called out a goodbye, Ala waved back, shouting as well. "Bye~!" She climbed down slowly, watching Liang fly about. She reached the ground shortly before the bird girl landed and did a little dance and Liang landed on the ground.
"Yay!" She yelled, though not sure if Liang heard her. She saw the girl waving again and waved back, then scampered off to go find her sister and go home.
