Hahaha...yeah...all the time.
1. You spend time thinking of "You know you're a band nerd if..." requirements.
2. You have your band directors phone number
3. You text the drum major during the football games
4. You get massively excited about all football/basketball games
5. You're upset when your band director is sick
6. You have "You know you're a band geek if..." posters in your band room(yes, I do)
7. Your band friends are your best friends
I can't think of others right now, but I'll go look at the list in the band room...

-when all your inside jokes relate to band class/camp/tour
-when you know ppl in band by what instrumeent they play instead of their name
-when you know all the date secrets of everyone in band
-when you make it your life goal to be 1st chair
-when you make a 27 step "handshake" with whoever sits beside you
-when you can name all the band teachers you've ever had
-when you listen to music you instantly tap you foot, conduct, or nod your head to the beat
-when you hear a song with a cool part in it for your instrument you vow to find the music for it on the internet or elswhere
-when you rename the songs and everyone still knows what you're talking about

-When you're thinking of going to your BD's wedding, along with a few other bandies.

-When school ends you still come in to help with the BD
-When you're the only one who knows how old your BD really is.

-When you and a flute are thinking of getting some 'I'm with the band.' shirts and putting 'marching' in between 'the' and 'band.'

Ok, that last one applies to me, but still. It is a good idea.

-When you need a designated driver, you call your BD. (our BD told us to do this. )

-You only watch parades on T.V. to see the bands. (Yes)

When you decide to tell your BD that your 6' 2" father was colorguard because he couldn't march and play clarinet.
(would you believe he was like, 4'9" at the time?)

When you go in after school's ended and help your BD take inventory, and then learn that two tubas have no cases, and there was a sink in the instrument room.
(our band room is weird indeed)

When you've broken a bone due to marching.

Now others:
When a non-band member calls "Summer Band" "Band Camp," it seriously offends you.

When you take Myspace pics with your BD and he approves greatly of it.

When your ultimate dream is to be Drum Major.

lol ive only had dreams about the drumline (haha yes dreams with an "s") but its close enough

- when you notice your in band, drumline and taking an extra begginers class to learn a new instument because you have no time after school because of the other two
-when you think about it beats and your music every second of your day
-when your aunts begin to call you the band chick
-when no one hears from you unless your playing your instument
-i've have noticed the dating patterns in the band room
-when your lunch spot is in the uniform room
-when you spend more time with band people then your own bed
-when you know about instructors band and goes to their band's concert
-and when you chose marching practice rather then a party

-when you hear someone clapping and you automatically go to attention mrgreen
[this happens. a lot whee ]

-when you make your schedual for next year, the first thing you put down is band... for both semesters.

-when you constantly remind those few friends that they should have never quit band in middle school

-remind all of your graduated friends to crash band camp and the band party!!! [oh the thrills we had wink ]

-when one of your worst nightmares is that you got to state finals but somebody left your instrument at semis and your forced to watch. (this happened and I woke up crying)
-when all your electives are band classes
-when even though you were nervous as hell through the entire preformance you wish you were back at state finals.
-when you like people because they're good at thir instruments
-when you join marching band in 8th grade instead of waiting until your freshman year.
-you mark time to all the music you listen to
