Usu put a paw above her and watched as she played with it.
"Well, a names a name. It's the name bearer that it important." he smiled.
"Well, when I do find one, I'll be sure to. Besides having me as a mate is nothing as having you for a mother. " he said humbly as his paw continue to drop and rise above the little playful pup.
"I am just glad that you are alright, Saa. I don't want anything to happen to you."

Pot chirped lightly nipping and pawing at his much larger paw. The small cub was enthralled with the little game and paid no attention to the serious conversation around her.
Saa yawned softly. "I guess so. I just hope I didn't curse her at the beginning of her life" She nudged her pup again but soft enough not to wake her.
"I think having you as a mate is quite a good thing. You're caring, sweet, gentle and you love kids." She watched the game that the two were playing. "Don't hurt your uncle now Potevu. I can't afford to look for another one."
She lifted her head to look at Usu more care fully. "Nothing will happen to me Usufii. Nothing will ever happen to me..." She knew she was lying. Something woul eventually happen but she couldn't tell him that. "Just make sure you fair well."

The large moved up and down to occupy the little pup as the two adults talked between themselves. Perhaps he was better with kids, he was sort of nice, gentle probably, sweet? dunno....
"Well, I was sort of spoiled as a pup, I just want to make sure these ones or any other don't suffer like I have..." his stern look turned into a frown. "There are somethings that others shouldn't have to go through. It would seem that we both have gone through a few of them."
He looked up to Saa's eyes, "Lying is not something a mother should do when she has a family to care for." his mark has been hurting slightly....for a while now.

Pot yipped growing tired of Usu's game. Her teeth bared in a grin as she rolled to her side. The pup had a bit of trouble getting back on her feet but eventually got to her paws. SHe shook out her purple head before climbing onto Usu's back. She barked again as if claiming that she won their little game.
Saa watched her pup play and sighed. She knew that horrible things would happen to her eldest if Beluwa had anything to do with it. That boy would be a monster if she ever saw one. She thought that maybe if she had raised him then he would be better off but there would be no helping him now. Her head rested on her paws again before she could hear Usu's response. Her older body was still racking slightly from the birth. "It would seem so. I know that they will have to endure something...both of them."
Saa smiled weakly. "Lying is something all mother's have to do to keep their children happy..."

Usu smiled back at the pup and licked her. "Alright, alright, you win, you win!" he grabbed her by her scruff and gently placed her next to Saa and him. He rolled up next to the two and laid his head down.
"Saa, that is what I wanted to hear." he said with a meak smile. "It would seem that I could stay here for a while, do you mind?" he asked. She seemed she needed someone there for her now. She was tired and weak...and vulnerable.
Usu looked back at Potevu, he smiled at her and nuzzled her to her mother.
Maybe one day.

Pot took one last swipe at his grey muzzle before going quiet. She wasn't quite asleep for she wanted to listen to them talk. The pup had listen to everything that they had said. The brightly colored thing beside her was her mother? The pup didn't quite understand it yet but she felt so comfortable around the female. Pott let herself be nudged into her mother and yawned softly before trying her best to suprised Saa.
"Mama..."
Saa smiled to Usu as he let Pot down. "She's gonna be quite a match for you someday Uncle Usu, when you stop letting her win." A soft chuckle left her as she moved her muzzle closer to Usu.
"Of course you can stay with us Usu. Potevu would be horrified if you were to leave." She nudged the grey wolf's shoulder before resting her head on her paws again. "Unless you have someone waiting for you at home..." Her ears went slowly back. Not in jealousy but in worry. Her pups needed Usu. He was the only posistive male they had met so far considering that he didn't snap at them for playing and testing their strength. Her saddened state was quickly brightened by her daughter.
"Mama..."
The word echoed in her mind and she could hardly believe what she had heard. "Potevu..." She curled tightly aroundher daughters and nuzzled the small purple female. "That's right. I am your Mama." The words had finally suck into her head.

"Her first words." The male wolf smiled down at the curled up pup. Mother and daughters.
"Hey wait a minute, I didn't let her win." he whispered playfully,"She's good."
"I'll stay for a while, got no one else but you and a few others. But right now, you need me and I will be here." Usu curled up into Saa and the two girls. "I would never want tobreak her heart, that is for certain." the god-touched wolf placed his nose close to Pot. He didn't want to move from this position. He was wanted here, he was needed here, and here was where he would stay until the time came when he would have to hunt for them...or watch them as Saa hunts.
"Rest, Saa, and I will do the same." he suggested, looking up to Saa's yellow eyes. "We have a long day ahead of us."
With that said, Usufii huffed, ruffling Pot's fur a little and slowly his eyes closed. The pain in his shoulder had subsided, his mind was cleared of his vision.
