Let's see... I cried when Nuriko, Chiriko, and Hotohori died. I didn't find Mitsukake's that emotional though. sad anywhoo... I also cried when Tatara was reunited with Suzuno. -sniff- HOW TOUCHING!!! >.< I definately cried the hardest when Nuriko and Chiriko died though, cause I just found the songs in the background and the....-trails off sobbing- yeah, I haven't seen enough of the others to shed any tears yet.

I usually dont cry when i read books but if i ever see an episode on a DVD or on tv i will probably cry

Takiko-chan squeegums787 I usually dont cry when i read books but if i ever see an episode on a DVD or on tv i will probably cry It's the opposite for me. I cry a lot more reading manga than watching anime. same here. i dont know why though...i mean shouldnt the movements of the characters and bg music help create pathos?

Yes, but sometimes an adaptation of a manga to an anime isn't very good, so it gets less sad. hmm...good point. besides, i silence makes everything moodier when it comes to me sweatdrop of course when im reading in barnes and noble and some kids run by making a fuss i feel like bonking them on the head because they ruined a special moment lol...but im usually too into the story to get distracted by other people

hell yeah! i didn't cry for the others, but nuriko... nuriko did it.
i got the book with my friends and i started reading it in the car ride home... i was just really moved by nuriko protecting miaka and cutting his hair and everything. so once i thought he was dead at the end of volume 8 i cried.. and then when i read volume 9 i cried... crying and then my friends thought i was crazy.. but nuriko is my favorite character.. so.. yeah it was really sad for me.
i at least got lucky that chichiri and tasuki survived... i guess.. but nuriko!!!!! crying crying crying

I cried throughout Fushigi yugi! there is no way yo couldn't! it was so sad, i even cried while reading the manga.

by the way, its really hardto make me cry in movies and books and stuff... but god... FY is sad! i cried whenever andyone died and where tamahome, seems like hes dead...i cried... i cried when everyone gave him his power. i cried in the OAV stuff... like when miaka is pregnant and stuff... i cried...

I surprised myself when I didnt cry when Nuriko died. Maybe it was because he wasnt one of my favorite characters. But I did cry when Tamahome's family got killed, and when Tamahome got drugged and Miaka had to say goodbye. I think those are the only two parts when I cried.

The Kitsune Hanyou I cried every time a celestial warrior died... Thank God Tasuki didn't die or I'd still be crying... same here!! crying and I cried when chidori died!!

I cry every time I watch Nuriko die. I used to cry for Mitsu and Chiriko's. But Hotohori's death never made me cry. I cried when Tanpopo left the garden club in Imadoki. She made a whole big scene.
