dagrossman ok I have to ask Who here is an EMB fan. I love Electric Hellfire Club, OhGr, Kill Switch...Kick and the like what about everyone else. uhh last i checked Skinny Puppy was more of Industrial Dance, if that goes with OhGr as it should OhGr isnt EBM but more of Industrial...

OhGr's more poppish (by Nivek's own words) than most industrial music, but they not as dance intentional enough to be EBM. Fine line sometimes, but it's not exactly an "oontz oontz oontz oontz" drum line. You wanna here some funny dance music, compare current Ministry to thier extremely early song "Everyday is Halloween". What a change!

OhGr sounds more like electric hellfire Club in the drum line than Skinny puppy.

I enjoy Haujobb and Funker Vogt.
Not to digress, but has anyone heard Assemblage 23 - Groud (darker version)? When I first heard it, I thought I had made a mistake of some kind and was listening to a Funker Vogt song. Except for a few little things, I would have put money that it was FV.

bactine its just a genre in industrial because people didnt like the sound of darkelf techno thats the genre it used to be (well, back when i was 13-14) or, i think thats just what we called it around here because it was alot more techno than industrial Darkelf techno? I've never heard that before. sweatdrop

I like Harsher ebm more than the more laid back stuff. Wumpscut, Decoded Feedback, Suicide Commando, Adversus, Snakeskin, Grendel, stuff like that. I still like the more emotional stuff, like Assemblage 23, VnV Nation(allthough some might consider them futurepop), Beborn Beton, Wolfsheim, stuff of this nature.
