I watched it in Japanese, then in English, and I hate the English version. It made me want to cry crying
I watched the movie with a bunch of people who had never played Final Fantasy 7 before, and I wanted to kill all of them. They were like....cheering for the death of Aeris and Sephiroth being the bad guy. Sure Sephiroth is a cool enemy, but not understanding the meaning of Aeris and then cheering on about her death? Big no no. I almost cried because of what they were doing.
I played the game before its fanbase started to make me hate it, and I cheered when Aeris died. > sad

i downloaded the japanese version with english subtitles and it was great. but i've never played a FF game so i probably didn't appreciate it as much as i would have. XD but it was still great.

I have advent children on my ipod its not some thing i cant watch every day but its a pretty good movie.

I liked it, btu after all tehh ype it was slightly dissapointing. as for the tifa fight scene I thought htat was pretty cool.

My friend has seen it. He has never played the game, and he thought it sucked because the characters were "flying, moving really fast, and never had messy hair after an explosion." Really, you need to believe in fantasy or fiction to actually like it. And you might need to see the game so it could make more sense.

its really sett after the game ... abotu 2 to 3 years latter... it wasnt bad.... lots of fight sence.... cloud looked hot thou

Advent of the Children is a really good one! Sigh cloud looks so good there. There is another FF movie out there. I forget what it was called but it was terrible.

Personally, I thought the movie was rather good....certainly exceeded my expectations, unlike X-2, which was sorta sucky....hope 12 is good too...

kyaa! i thought it was pretty good, considering the total crash that spirits within had (which was pretty whacky), lol, i loved the blatant disregard of any physics whatsoever, and the awesome fight scenes, the development of the characters wasn't tragic, but people who never played the game were a little confused, but I guess it wasn't too bad
I think i still like the game better though.

Advent Children was a good movie... I've never played the game so the first time I watched it I was like Eh? the entire movie. (although i still liked it cause of the cool fighting scenes xp ) Then When I watched it again (like half a year later, still haden't played the game) in english it was better (although the voices was better in the japanese one)

faerie_0011 It is NOTHING like the game. As a matter of fact, it's 2 years after the game. The only thing that sucked about the movie was Tifa's voice acting. Hence why I watched it in Japanese. The dubs are rediculous.
