*Nyx settled down onto her haunces as Akui gave the new pups a full investigation. At first her nerves were like coiled steel, about to spring if anything seemed amiss.... but as he sniffed them carefully and lovingly she noticibly relaxed and her tail began to thump proudly against the warm earth.*

They ARE beautiful, Akui... and you helped them be so. Your blood runs through them as strongly as mine does.

*She softly got to her feet and licked at them again, smoothing and cleaning their soft fur.*

They will grow strong, and our pack with them. And once they are big enough to do so.... we shall stake out territory of our own. Where we can be safe from the two-legs.

*She looked out towards the mouth of the den, smelling her other packmate, the young female Monenoke, and she crawled slowly towards herm remembering the young female's promise to assist her with the cubs.*

((Jade said you can RP them alittle more actively as long as they keep pace with their brothers and sisters, but they can't leave the densite yet))

The small black pup snorted. What was this? More fuzzy things coming to pester her Mother? She made a snort, attempting to be rather defiant in her small, fuzzy and chubby state. It failed however, when the sheer snort was enough to cause her to squeak, and tumble as there were more movements around the den.
Through the muffled sounds of her ears, she could make out sounds of small whimpering, and rather pleasant chittering. It was all rather confusing. What were all the big things nosing about like that? What a funny thing to do.
Her nose crinkled, and she rose again, stumbling onto unsteady paws. This new fuzzy one, who by smell she could tell had arrived beside the man, seemed to be edging her way down the throat of the den site. And Mother wasn’t doing anything about it! Did she not smell her? And what about that funny man?
But, unfortunately for Harle, she wore herself out with much of these confused baby ponderings, and flopped back on her side. Things would have to wait until she rested a bit. Then, then she'd try and make sense of these big fuzzy things, and why mother would want something to do with them.
...Still...They made her sound happy. And the Mother seemed to know a lot more about things then she did. Alas. They'd have to stay then. But only because they made Mommy happy.
The black pup lifted her head, and squinted her eyes a bit. Her left eye twitched at the clouded light filtering down from the circular entrance of the den. With another snort and crinkling of her nose, she resolved herself to wriggling her tiny tail for what it was worth, making tiny little puppy noises as her best notion of speech.

*Nyx thumped her tail against the warm earth and nodded to Monenoke.*

Your new packmates are gaining strength, 'Noke. And I believe that they are pulling it from me *she said with a tired, but lolling grin* Your young strenth will be much appreaciated. Something tells me that they will be quite the handfull very soon when their vision clears and their legs lengthen

*Nyx went back inside and nuzzled her pups reassuringly and lay down by her side, rolling over to give them access to her teats again, thankful for the full belly, looking thankfully and proudlyover to Akui and Noke, and then heaved a tired sigh and slid her eyes closed*

A unspoken wave of lethargy carefully passed across the small pups nose as her mother retreated back into the confines of the den. Her body wriggled gently as Nyx rubbed her muzzle against each of the pups, idly flicking out her tongue to lap at the gentle blunt. Attention in the young creature's mind pooled back to the large black giant, and with a squeak, she carefully scaled (slowly) across her siblings, anxious to fill her small belly.
She paused for a moment, her red tipped ears flicking forwards as she regarded amicably the entrance of the den. The two others had seemingly vanished now. Had she imagined them? Her head cocked to the side slightly, and her fur ruffled. But the need to fill quickly overwhelmed her developing curiosity, and with a squeak, she nestled herself against the narrow ribs of the she-wolf.

Noke wanted to kick herself, just so she could somehow gain the courage or just spit it out. She gulped as her heart raced a little, "I..uh...." She paused, "I was wondering if I could go exploring new terrority for the pack." She spat it out so quickly she couldn't even remember what she said. She tried to smile, but it failed her. "That...that is...after the pups have grown." She sighed, there...she had said it.... She got up and walked towards Akui and licked him in a friendly way. After several minutes she then said something, "There is also someone I hope to meet. Though I doubt I'll find him." She said in a hushed quiet voice.

Noke nodded, then near choked as she finally realized she had said to much. She cowered slightly, how could she tell them that she had fallen in love? Was it even possible? Surely Akui and Nyx in love with each other would understand, but then again Noke hardly knew Kamali. She whinned slightly, "Akui..." She paused not even sure how to word it without sounding like a dumbstruck yearling in love. "I was hoping to find Kamali in my travels." She said with a heavy sigh sitting on her belly. "But I doubt that'll happen, his pack departed for the Eastern territory long ago. I don't even think he remembers me, he was a mere pup then and I near teen..." She ducked her head down lower, feeling ashamed slightly.
