Gallen's eyes were strong, his soul unbreakable. as the young man collapsed he ran, leaping into the water and swimming to the young man. He dove under looking for Jordan, finding him being carried away by the current . Gallen grabbed him around the waste and pulled him to the surface and swam hard back to the shore. As he dragged the naked Jordan on to shore, he gasped looking to Dai for some help. As he laid Jordan down he pulled off his own shirt and draped it over Jordan's lower half covering his maleness. His bare back was revealed all could see the tattoos he most cherished, the marks of his soul and family, one shoulder carried the Japanese kanji for Oni with a club in front of it symbolizing the idea of invincible, the other a, Celtic family knot, which decorated his opposite shoulder. In seconds Gallen promptly started to check Jordan, was he breathing, did he need more help. Damn it he was not a doctor and the doctor he knew was behind him in her own state of shock. He checked Jordan vitals, pulse, breath, and what ever else he thought was right.

In the moment he’d blacked out, his heart raced frantically and his vision blurred into darkness. He could feel the water engulfing his limp body, carrying it on the tide. Water rushed into his lungs. His vitals were slowing in unconsciousness. Pulse weakened, not rapidly, but enough. Fortunately for him, differences were put aside when life was on the line. He would remain unaware of that. He’d owe him one. Jordan hadn’t remained underwater long enough to cause permanent damage as he was dragged to shore by the Irishman. As his body tried breathing for dear life, lungs forced gurgled sounds that leaked some water out the side of his mouth. His body was limp and unconscious. Jordan’s face was changing color with the obstruction of oxygen.

Gallen turned Jordan’s head to the side and started to press his stomach down trying to pump water out, once some came out he started to administer CPR, His warm lips touching the cooling lips of Jorden as Gallen blew his air into Jordqn's lungs this continued. Gallen worried for the young man.

After several repetitions, his body jerks and the water-logged lungs expel the liquid in a violent spray, leaving Jordan coughing and hacking for life-giving air! His eyelids flutter as consciousness returns. A groan of exhaustion signals his vitals stabilizing.
“Unghhhhhhh…. drown---ing….” He sputtered, suddenly darting his eyes open with the shock jumpstarting his mind. “Nooooooo…!” a combination of sweat and water dripped from his face as he patted his chest with a wet, drumming skin-on-skin sound. He coughed up another bit of water, sitting up and leaning forward, hunched over into his lap. Sopping wet hair dangled into his face, obscuring his face.

"Are ye ok" he rubbed Jordan's back, "ye passed out, it is ok now yer safe." Gallen at next to Jordan while Dai sat close so he could keep an eye on her. This was going to be one rough day he sighed. not thinking gallen patted a hand on Jordan's bare thigh and smiled to him.

On his part, Jordan was unresponsive, well, beyond the periodic coughing fit he remained unresponsive. He nearly drowned. And it was the person claiming his place of employment was the virtual spawn of hell. He didn’t know what to say. A ‘thank you’ would have been a good start, but he was too ashamed of himself to even utter two simple words.
Jordan glanced over at Gallen, not in malice, but with a mixed expression of fear and confusion. Droplets of water dripped from the clinging strands of hair. He trembled, opening his mouth to speak, but paused.
“Why did you save me…?” the fear echoed in his voice. “You could have struck a blow against your sworn enemy and yet you risked your life for me…”
The sea breeze was causing his unclothed body to shiver more.

"Cause me sworn enemy is Dr. Moreau, not his people, My sister works for him, she is on this island in that compound above the village. Like ye she thinks she is doing good, or thought. I do not find fault in ye because ye blindly followed there lies to help make a better world." Gallen’s eyes had a dark hate for the man who owned feral labs, the man who ran this island, the man who tore his family up and brought him here to face the fate of losing his humanity. He then noticed Jordan shivering and quickly pulled the scrub shirt of his from the ground and draped it over his shoulders. "There that should help a bit."

“Thanks..” he said softly “I don’t know what’s going to happen or when it will happen.. but.. I hope you can forgive my outburst.. it doesn’t change how I feel, but at least we can agree to disagree.” The hot sand was warming him nicely and in a matter of minutes, his shivering ceased. He glanced about the scenery, trying to take stock in the location Gallen was speaking of. "I have no clue where I am and I don't know how to get back to where I was."

He blushed profusely at that comment and the attention placed. Jordan grabbed his scrub pants and slipped them on with the cover of the shirt on his lap, wiggling into them quickly, then sliding his shirt over his torso.
He rolled his neck his neck, hearing some pops and promptly helped himself up, handing Gallen’s shirt back. “Thanks. I appreciate the that.”
“I’m gonna need a nice long, hot shower, a change of clothing…” he tugged on the confining scrubs uncomfortably “…something more loose and breezy… and then I’m going to need a nice long rest…”

[I didn't know this was going to be so active! D:]
Dai sighed as Gallen rocked her, she'd always liked the man. He had always been a good friend. It didn't occur to her what her mother would say if she ever came to the island and saw them hugging, but then again, it was just a hug, right?
She snapped out of her reverie just as Jordan started his panic attack, not even aware that Gallen had let go to help the man in the water. All she could do was wring her hands helplessly; her medical experience told her that too many people could spell disaster even if they had good intentions. She looked away as Gallen administered CPR, on the pretense of looking around for something to help. Nothing - Well, she was on a beach after all. Getting up with ease, she winced once more as her bones cracked once more. Why wasn't she taking this so seriously? Her mind whirled. Maybe her animal was one that was a predator or a scavenger; death was not a big deal. She rubbed her neck thoughtfully. She'd heard of a vulture woman from some of the other islanders, and heard that her neck was abnormally long. Was she a vulture? It fit with Moreau's style, her being a doctor, saving people from life, and transforming her into a vulture, something of death.
Once again, Gallen's voice woke her up. Her mind whirled even more. Why was she blanking out so much? Why - No. She was going to stay focused on the matter. She forced her mouth to work, the words sounding as if they were far, far, away. "I'll accompany you guys... I'm sorry if I... Ah..." She paused, fiddling with the hem of her shirt and looking rather guilty. "Anyway, we should get you some fluids, it's good for shock victims. And I could lend you some of my clothes, they're baggy and rather unisex than anything else..." That was true. Being a doctor and rather busty, she didn't want to wear anything too tight or revealing. Nor men's clothes, lest she be thought a cross-dresser. "I have an old Stanford sweatshirt that might fit you..."

“Thank you, Dai.” He nodded at her offering of more comfortable clothing. Anything would feel better at the moment. “That sounds fine.” He propped himself on a hand in the sand and pushed himself up shakily.
Dressed and ready to go, he arose quizzically. It was fortunate someone knew where to go or he might get himself so lost he’d never find his way. He walked away from the beach a few steps, looking back to see if they were ready. He couldn’t help but wonder if everyone felt the same as Gallen and Dai. Would he be in a class of his own? Would he have to fight tooth-and-nail against others supporting his opposing view? He did feel a bit singled out by that possibility, but then again, he honestly believed in Feral’s operations. If he was to be singled out for his standpoint, then the majority would just have to dea with that. He wasn’t about to change sides based on popular opinion.
“I’m ready when you are.” He said a bit impatiently. A hot shower and then a nice nap were awaiting him once his escorts get him to where he’s going. “I think I’ve had enough sun and surf for one day.”

"aye" Gallen ran up ahead of Jordan ready to lead the way. Poor guy, he did not wish to except the truth. Would he be an enemy of everyone on the island, or possibly the insider they needed. Galen wanted to help him, even if they were on opposite opinions.

“Is it a ways back to housing? Honestly wasn’t paying attention to the distance between there and here.”
Having a lousy sense of direction was going to work against him if he didn’t learn the layout of the land. It sounded like he was going to have plenty of time on his hands to explore at his leisure, though he’d be more inclined to reside inside his duplex to avoid more trouble.
His mind was becoming distracted once again as they walked. Seeing Dai’s abnormality, or could it be classified as a mutation, made him a bit suspicious of his safety. If his acquaintances were indeed to possess bestial strength, then what could prevent them from coming targeting him if so inclined? He couldn’t fight off a raving beast if one had became so fanatical.
He shook his head, unaware of his lofty sigh. What ridiculous thoughts! It wasn’t as if a werewolf would come howling in the night, bursting through his door and drooling saliva. He’d heard of people developing psychological disorders to escape reality by relying on an animalistic personality, but could it be possible for the mind to actually have a physical impact on the body to actually reflect their illness? That seemed just as preposterous as a theory as what he’d been told.
He was trying to be subtle when he glanced over at Gallen, only wondering what was going through his mind at that moment, if he was having concerns over the Feral affiliated man.
