Barinthus Beauty and the beast was actually based off of Phantom, It was said in some interview with Disney. Also, "KILL THE BEAST! TO ARMS!" Oh no, He's slightly unattractive on one side of his face. mad Phantom and Beauty of the beast have many simularities. That's pretty interesting!! She learns to love the Beast, which can very well be like Erik ( character-wise, sorta ), but in the end he turns into some prince that looks like RAOUL. SIGNIFYING THAT CHRISTINE WENT WITH RAOUL OOOOMGGG I just tripped myself out right there sweatdrop Alot of Disney movies are based on other stories... The Lion King was based on Hamlet whee

They really do look similar, wow. Just kinda sucks that if the Beast= Erik and Beast after tranformation=Raoul...well you get the idea.

I would've rathered that hairy lug than the prissy boy that came out of it. If that woulda happened to me, I'd have looked at the Prince and said, "O_o Hey, you shaved! GROW IT BACK!" XD The beast was cuddley! "Adam"-person's hair did that flippy thing. You can't cuddle flippy things. Of course you can't cuddle flippy things! You'll get your eye poked out! And no one wants to cuddle something that'll poke their eyes out. ...Which is why every Beauty and the Beast plushie was of the Beast and not the p***k he transformed into at the end. We all would rather cuddle something resembling a giant prairie dog than the skinny twit beneath all that fur and teeth. well that brings a rather odd twist to the moral of the story.... I bring an odd twist to anything only because I live on coffee and Chinese food. Plus I seriously never liked the end of that movie. Disney kinda ruined the story for me. =\ This is strange...I remember having a conversation with my friends about that movie. Me: I liked the Beast better. Fluffy: What?! How can you like the Beast better? He's all big and hairy and ugly. You were supposed to like the cute guy at the end! Waffles: Yeah. The guy was cuter. Me: *mumbling to self* I think the Beast was cuter... (Those are their real nicknames, so don't think I just made them up.)

Utakan KatiliaLangahi well if you think about it, belle looks a lot like Christine Belle:  Christine:  I mean they both have brown hair, brown eyes, tiny figures....you make the choice in agreeing lol True. And both stories are set in France, though I'm pretty sure different times and sections of the country. But if the Beast ends up to be Raoul, what does that make Gaston (the vain hunter guy with the ugly sidekick)? well in the Yeston version of PotO (Phantom: The American Musical Sensasion (1992)) the man who played the Phantom was also the original voice actor for.... dun...dun...dun... Disney's Beauty and the Beast Gaston!

Personally, I've never really cared for how the post-Transformation beast looks. I think he looks to effeminite, too bishounen, especially after the Beast who was...well NOT.
