nice idea wink *dissapears into the many shadows around them*........*appers in the city where many people are running and screaming*....well i dont think i missed anythig rolleyes .....so where are all these vampires and are they doin anything worth watchin?*hears a woman scream,turns around**sees a vampires cornering a woman and her little girl into an alley and ready to bit by the looks of it*......hmm this is not my problem.....*looks back guiltly*......but why arnt they here yet?.........HELLO TITANS DO YOU NOT HEAR THIS WOMANS CRYS FOR HELP?!?!jeez they might as well not exist!......*leans on a wall in an alley and just watches the scene*...........im bored.......im watching destruction in process and im bored.......man is my life gettin more and more pittifull....

Robin frowned as he took off for the city in the R-cycle, tracking Silver down. He finally drove up beside an alley and saw a pale, bruised arm sticking out of a dumpster at an odd angle. His eyes widened as he jumped off the R-cycle and raced over to her, his heartbeat quickened in panic.
Don't be dead, Silver, don't be dead...oh god...Silver, don't die...please... He carefully lifted the unconscious elf into his arms and set her on the back of the R-cycle before speeding off to the hospital as fast as the moterbike would take him.

Having been lost in his thoughts, Robin didn't hear Breyze calling to him.

"I'm sorry, Sir, but even the overflows are full. We simply can't take another."

"Listen to me! My friend is dying! She's a Titan, you can't just let her die!"

"Lower your voice, sir."

Robin ran a gloved hand through his spiked black hair and sighed irritably before trying again, glancing behind him occasionally at Silver lying motionless on one of the couches in the waiting room.
"Please...." He looked up at the nurse imploringly through his mask, trying to speak calmly. "Please...don't let her die..."

The nurse sighed and shook her head sadly.
"We don't have any room. At all. I'm sorry...all the hospital rooms are already past their full limit...the vampire attacks have been killing more and more...and we're not sure if they're even dead or not."

Robin's jaw set as he began to pace under the sympathetic watch of the nurse. "Isn't there anything you can do?" he asked, his voice rising again.

"I already told you. We can't. And she's not human, you already said. We don't know if she's one of them."

"But she's already proved her worth! Silver isn't one of them. If she was....she just isn't, understand?"
I'm not going to let her die....she's the only other Titan left in Jump City as far as I know... he thought to himself, slamming his fist into the palm of his other hand repetitively.

The nurse cast a glance over at Silver's motionless form and sighed again.
"...Alright. Get her and follow me."
she finally nodded, motioning for Robin to follow her as she stepped out from behind the front desk and walking down a hallway, a ring of keys in hand. She turned to a door and unlocked it, pointing for Robin to go inside with Silver.

With Silver in his arms, Robin lifted an eyebrow at the sight of the shockingly empty room. It looked just like any normal room that would be in any normal home...except the atmosphere wasn't the comforting homey one...it was a foreboding, stiff scent that even one with dull senses could pick up. Robin turned to the nurse. "Thank you."

The nurse nodded and walked back to the desk, leaving the keyring in Robin's left hand.

Robin walked over to the small bed and set Silver on it as gently as possible, then walked over to a chair in the corner. He sat down in it and buried his head in his hands, a muffled sob shaking his shoulders suddenly.
I can't do this...everybody else just abandons the Titans to go to other branches...I have no idea where Breyze is....if I lose the only Titan I have left here.... He couldn't bear to think of what he would do if Silver died.

A weak shudder passed overSilver's body, and she opened her eyes slowly, trying to focus on whoever was in the room.
"....Robin...?"
She managed to call hoursely.

Robin immediately got up and went to Silver, sitting on the foot of the bed across from her. "Silver....nice to see you're alive." He tried to say it lightheartedly, as much as he wanted to laugh and cry at the same time that she was alright.

Silver cracked a weak smile at him, fighting to keep her eyes open.
"...Robin...I'm scared...I heard...a voice...in my head...."



While patiently waiting for Silver to continue speaking, Robin noticed that one of her eyes was nearly swollen shut, and that her left cheek had a long, narrow cut that went down to her chin.
His gaze flitted to her arm that was lying useless beside her, still twisted at an odd angle. Robin couldn't help but wince at the sight.

"...A voice...." silver continued, trying not to let him know how scared she really was, "It was chasing me....with red eyes...and fangs..."

"...A vampire?" Robin suggested, finishing for her.

Silver swallowed and nodded, then looked across the room and caught a glimpse of her appearance in the mirror on the wall.
"Wow...surprised I'm alive...eh Robin?"
She tried jokingly, forcing another smile.

Robin nodded slowly, amazed that she was even able to talk after what had happened. "So...who did this to you, anyway?"

Silver's expression immediately clouded over.
"Flint."
she rasped, her voice dry.

"Flint?" Robin echoed cluelessly.

Silver tried to sit up, but ended up collapsing back on the bed with a sharp yelp of pain. She reached a hand over to lift up her broken arm, but Robin caught her wrist to stop her.
She caught his eye, and quickly looked away.
"Robin....thank you for saving me...but..."


Robin nodded understandingly, chuckling lightly. "I understand. Just friends, right?"

Silver nodded and sank back onto the single flat pillow. Her eyes widened suddenly as she glanced sharply at Robin.
"Breyze....where is he?!"

Reaching a hand over to calm her down, Robin tried to be as casual as possible so he wouldn't alarm her. "....I'm not sure....."

Silver eyes still held doubt and panic, and she tried to move herself into a somewhat seated position. The result was her wincing again and sighing to settle with the position she was already in.

"So...you don't know what's happening outside of here?" Robin asked, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

Silver shook her head and looked down.
"No..."

Silver's eyes lit up.
"...Breyze!"

Robin caught himself from being flung to the floor by Breyze's shove and stood up, facing the two of them with his arms crossed.

Silver smiled at Breyze, wincing again in another failed attempt to sit up.
"Well, normally I'd say I'm fine....but in this case, I doubt my own words."
she replied, trying to sound cheerful.

Robin glanced at Breyze, his mouth set in a straight line that showed he agreed with what Silver said.

"I don't know what all he did...but I think he tried to suffocate me at one point..at least that's what it feels like...."
Silver sighed, still looking over at Breyze.
"I missed you..."
she murmured, smiling softly.

Silver locked eyes with Breyze, holding the seed in her hand somewhat hesitantly.
"You're saying that it will bring my strength back...but what will happen to you if I do take this?"

I love you too...
Silver smiled and brought the seed up to her mouth to eat it.
Seconds later, her eyes brightened as her pointed ears twitched.

Robin watched hopefully from his side of the room, his focus intent on Silver.

Wow...he's right.
Silver blinked and looked over at Robin.
"So...you up to fight some vampires?"

Robin stood up, alarmed. "Silver, you can't--"
Silver cut him off.
"I'm not going to. I'm going to stay here and help heal the patients with my powers...it's more than likely that we're going to end up getting more patients before this day is over. I'll come help you fight the vampires...and Flint...later. Is that okay with you?"

Robin nodded and turned to walk out of the room, but hesitated. He glanced back over at Silver in hesitation, but she didn't seem to notice, so he sighed silently and walked back outside to his R-cycle.

Silver, feeling much better as Breyze had said, stood up from the bed and walked into one of the emergency rooms, where docters were running all over the place in frenzy.
And so it begins... she thought to herself as she approached the docters to convince them to let her help.
