ill give her 2 BP for Recurring Nightmares
21 SP left.......
another highly skilled(taking 1 BP)(so 5 left)
so 25 SP left........
another to all skills leaving me with 4
2 to each tumble and climb
4 BP left: 1 to Mechanical Genius 1 to Personal Gear
2 left....what are some other feats she could have?
EDIT: if alchemy isnt automatic to pick up(craft) ill drop 1 to tumble b/c ive used all SP xd

Characters start with the common language for their area, for my campaign this would be Japanese. You can take whatever second languages you want, such as English, Spanish or German (or Elvish). Mechanical Genius and Personal Gear cost 2 CP per rank, so increasing them both by 1 would cost 4 CP. There are really SO many cool attributes and feats!!! It's hard to pick for other people's characters. I would say Point Blank Shot is a nice feat, and allows you to get Precise Shot later. So your Attributes and Skills would now look like: Quote: Attributes: Features: 1 (elven features) Highly Skilled: 2 Mechanical Genius: 2 (x5 repair speed) Personal Gear: 2 (2 major, 8 minor) Defects: Easily Distracted (furry animals): 2 Marked (elven features): 1 Phobia (milk!): 3 Recurring Nightmares: 2 Skills: balance - 2 climb - 2 controlled breathing - 2 computer use - 2 disable device - 2 escape artist - 2 jump - 2 know: Cultural Arts - 2 know: mechanical - 2 medical - 2 move silently - 2 listen - 2(+2) spot - 2(+2) speak languages - 2 search - 1(+2) research - 2 repair - 2 tumbe - 2 melee attack - 1 melee defense - 1 special ranged attack - 1 unarmed attack - 2(+1) unarmed defense - 2(+1) I'm not sure if I got all that skill stuff you mentioned right.. something like that though.. sweatdrop

Awesome! 3nodding
So that gets us to wahmbulance Step 11 wahmbulance - Equipment
You get 2 Major Items and 8 Minor Items. You also get "mundane" items, such as normal clothes. My campaign is Modern, so your character *could* have access to firearms, but would still possess the classic Martial Artist weapons.
Major items include Cars, Guns, a workshop, a motorbike, a horse, heavy armor and any equivalent items.
Minor items include ammo, handgun, medkit, swords, bows, shuriken, nunchuks, bo-staff, light armor, combat gloves, computers, full tool kits, binoculars and equivalent items.
You took the Melee Skills and Special Ranged Attack skills, so you will need weapons to use with them. Did you have anything in mind?

melee will prob just be a sword or a staff
special ranged .............maybe something like shuriken that not everybody is likely to have......or a bow xd
so :
major items: motorbike, workshop minor items: ammo, handgun, swords, bows xd , shuriken, bo-staff, computers, full tool kit
that shouldn't be overkill............ whee

Blood, you need to update the skills section to point out that Combat Skills cost triple. Thats 6 cross-class and 3 class. Many people appear to be missing this point.

Thanks. I fixed the skills section of this tutorial. I think I should also check the skills for my example characters and make sure I did them right. I forget that myself sometimes.

Brasten Blood, you need to update the skills section to point out that Combat Skills cost triple. Thats 6 cross-class and 3 class. Many people appear to be missing this point. Yes, but I usually avoid making the combat skills in that way, as it does detract from the fun of the game, thusly, I have them cost as much as a regular skill as cross class skills only cost one in every other D20 I've ever had... They nearly never cost more than one skill point ever, unless of course you stick so close to the rules in one book that you're too careless to do enough research on how skills actually work. Sorry, I rant when it comes to some certain area of a game that bugs me, no offense to you of course, I'd just rather they all cost one like every other D20 game I've played. Skills are skills and shouldn't be discriminated against, combat or not!! Sorry, I ranted again... I'm done now...

No, it actually make sense to have combat skills cost 3 times as much because each level of a combat skill is equal to the Weapon Focus feat from other D20 games, and feats cost 2 Character Points. I think only charging 1 or 2 points for combat skills would result in overpowered characters.
