it was such a blessing to get a job.
in 7 months I was able to save about $600 (I didn't have direct deposit for a few months so I would have had more had I not spent it all....XD) and I finally bought my first dress a few days ago. biggrin I can't wait for it to come!
I want Metamorphose stuff! <333 I like them because they have an english site and I don't have to fuss with figuring out how to order.

I hardly spend any money on Lolita clothing.
Mostly I find really cheap cute stuff at like Wal-Mart or Goodwill. xD And then match it to cheap jewerly from Hottopic. <3

I have noticed this is one of the more expensive fashions, so DIYS is definatly in when you are dressing lolita. It saves money, and your things are unique because you spent the time to make them yourself. Next thing to do is make a coffin handbag!

I would spend much more if I didn't live in america and have no lolita to spend on crying
All the lolita things I have are DIY...a halloween costume I have that could be considered lolita cost 45$. I'm going to use it for my Chi from Chobits cosplay outfit. Its really cute 4laugh

I have absolutly no idea how much I've spent on lolita.
Between all of my name brand and hand made things... I dunno.
*adds up some things*
I think all of my Moitie things must add up to at least $600.
Wow... no wonder I never saw paychecks from last year! haha. A skirt, a jacket, some socks, a pair of boots, and a bracelet. All but the boots are second hand.
I don't know about my Putumayo stuff, because I can never remember what was second hand and which was directly purchaced, because I have my grandma go out and get clothes for me. hahaha.

I don't think I've hit the thousand dollar mark yet, but I've spent quite a bit on nice fabrics and accessories. <3 socks. I was considering, today, buying a brand parasol, but had to stop myself because the money has more a more important destination of letting me visit my friend for thanksgiving break/my birthday.
Wait, I completely forgot about the shoes. The last pair I bought were a cute style by Sofft that fits perfectly with classic lolita. I'm saving up for nice pair of boots. I don't really trust lolita brand shoes to be that comfortable, or fit my feet, and I really hate foot pain, so I'm hoping to get a pair custom made by a shoemaker back home. (I'm at school across the country.) I don't think it will be long before I've spent at least 1k on lolita.
Maybe I should sell my ovaries, and use the money from that to buy myself more stuff. >.> xd

The other day I went to Buffalo Exchange and found a very loli dress in the costume section...for $8. In perfect shape, looks like it would be good for layering...very sturdy with some stiff stuff in the waist, lovely material, and it's bXw gingham, so it will be easy to add to :3
I also got a dark pink/white/black skirt for about $17 that is very fully on it's own and well made...it looks a little too saloon-ish, but I think if I get the right top it will be perfect for punk lolita.
So yeah, I've spent $25 kinda...not counting the piles random material I hope to make into skirts on day that are currently at my house XP

Hm only around $250... not too much but it isn't a small sum either. I work part time so it's okay.
