EDIT: Also, something just occurred to me. Just commenting that, Laz-san, I think it was, you say that breathing is basically what is killing us, which I can accept. I think that the problem with smoking is not necessarily only the fact that it shortens our lifespan, but that it is a factor that shortens our lifespan that can be avoided. It serves no purpose whatsoever in glorifying God, it hurts our bodies, and you need to go out of your way to do it.

Just my thoughts on the matter...

umm breathing serves no purpose in glorifying God and it too can be avoided. (although i would not recomend trying) but we do it.

actually, the last time i tried to quit smoking i got a sever lung infection that grew into pnumonia. the reason: i'd quit smoking. see although it is damaging my lungs it is also killing pretty much all hte bacteria in them as well. sadly lung tissue regenerates less quickly than bacteria grows, this means that for the first two months after quitting you are more suseptible to infection. so personally rather than another antibiotic treatment i think i'll stick with the tobacco.

so im guessing its crap. and a pretty big heap of it too.

I dont mind if someone smokes, but i would never date someone who smokes stare

And yet thus far, you have failed to do either prefering to focus on side issues and ohter beefs instead. You talk a big game Mr. Soul but you fail to back it up.



Insult again?Damn, Vic, the maturity level is not only brought down by me. But, I will comend you on finaly coming out with a little backing for your arguments. You can point out which verses next time though it might be a good idea. As i have said before there are plenty of other things that impede our health as much as, or more that smoking. so should i stop eating fast food, living in cities and breathing in general? (it has been shown that oxigen over time does in fact deteriorate internal organs. As we age we actually die of the oxidization of our own bodies)I understand you have to breath, I even understand you have to eat a burger everynow and then, I can understand you might need to have fast food when you're in a hurry somethime... but do you have to smoke?

i assume you are reffering to verse6 "Let everythign that has breath praise the Lord." umm that dose not mean that breahting glorifys God, it means that anything that can breath should praise Him.

But I think you could be healed without having to smoke. I understand you, because one of my uncles has the same problem. Though, I've seen people quit smoking with the help of God, and He gives them health. I think you should consider that.
