Key Somniorum I play this game bit by bit. I'm trying hard to get through it but I don't think it's going to happen. I'm about fifteen hours in and bored out of my mind. The game gets frustrating because you get very little direction, and so far most of the characters are uninteresting. If it doesn't pick up soon I won't finish it. SO2 was so much better. (I want to at least get Albel before I quit!) What was the title of SO2? I've heard the same thing, might pick it up at some point.

I think it was just Star Ocean: The Second Story. I loved it. And you MUST get Ashton Anchors. He's got an unexplained fetish for barrels. Yes, barrels.

Just after getting him, stay at the inn in Peterney, it's hilarious! rofl (It also insures that he will be a permanant member in your party, and everyone wants that mrgreen .)

start ocean: till the end of time in my opinion is a great game. i admit i'm not done with it, but i'm pretty close to the end... and i don't think it took me that long to get where i'm at. unfortunately i kind of can't finish the game because i scratched my second disc. mad it sucks, but i should have been more careful. anyways, this game is a definate must-have. i love how the game is so detailed with the descriptions of the planets, different races, characters, etc. it's pretty cool and the battle system is great too! it's a nice break from the typical turn-based system that FF uses. ^^;

I hate that you have to leave him behind to get battle trophies for fighting him in the Urssa Lava Caves though crying . It is really funny when you go back to get him though, especially if you tell him he can't come with you after fighting him the first time (only did it 'cause I had too crying ) and then fight him again; the dialogue is hilarious!

I have the diresctors cut and so far I like it. the dialogues are pretty long (Ties with Xenosaga) and it also has 180+ hours of gametime, but if you have the time, patience, and like Square games, it's great!
