In regards to what Ho Snap! said, emo is about the music but it has to be recognized as a fashion/lifestyle as well.
And yes, the guild does talk about being yourself Lady of Sorrows, I have noticed that theme as well.

I dont feel like reading all that but I read the first page and you guys need to lighten up. How do you think that every other person felt when they made them stereotypes? Like, for example, that all Germans are Neo Nazis or that anyone that has something against another race is a KKK supporter or girls that like skimpy clothes are sluts and crap like that. Just because you dont like it dont mean its gonna change. The more you hate it the more they will use it against you. Just dont worry about it and dont take it so offensively.
