I shall try to answer this too. Ok, so first off head to the forums. From there, head over to The GAIA Exchange. In there, at the top of the page click into the Charity/Quests subforum. Click the "new topic" button and give yourself a title for your quest, as well as setting up an introduction such as purpose for your quest, or why people should donate to you in the first post. Many quests also contain basic things like a list of all who have donated to them, sometimes a list of bumpers or recognition of the person who bumped most, and the item(s) you're questing for as well as how much gold you have out of your target gold needed (you can always update your current gold status by editing the post and adding in your new amount).
Now concerning bumping. Bump stands for Bring Up My Post. In the Charity/Quests subforum there's a list of everyones quests and/or charities. When one is posted in, it's moved to the top of the list on the first page. As everyone else has their quests posted in, yours will be pushed down the list until eventually settling onto other pages like 2, 3, 4, etc. When you post in your topic, it will be brought back up to the top of the list on the first page, making it more likely that people will come to visit, support you with bumps, and best of all to donate! You dont have to say "bump" in the post to bring the topic up, but alot of people just do as it's a simple and lazy way to bring attention to your topic.
Once again, hope my rambling helps 3nodding
