Daisy looked to see what Donnie was looking. "Okay. I wonder what's in there? Just the room that has the power or something?" Daisy walked over to it avoiding getting too dirty.
Jr. followed slowly behind her. He wasn't sure about this place. It felt stuffy, but he would help Daisy no matter.
Korcha shurgged to Daisy and followed the others. As he walked he scanned the room for any fishing type stuff. He didn't see anything.

It was incredibly warm down here, the basement obviously housing all the climatising equipment throughout the castle, not too mention the water heater and likely the fuse boxes.
Every footstep echoed off the machines and pipes, not loudly, but enough to amplify the sound of their walking. Donnie, always quielty, waited for some insight but nothing came to him. He finally reached the door, painted black, opening inward, with a simple sign bolted to it's otherwise non-descript face. 'Boiler Room'.
Not the most exciting thing, but it was all Donnie could see that was worth checking out. "Here we go."

Daisy nodded. "You think it will be hot in there?" Daisy asked as she noticed what it said. It was hot already. But as it was getting cold and windy outside it was rather nice.
Jr. flew up and landed in Daisy's arms. He didn't want her to get to far ahead without him.
"Yeah, but it won't be too bad. I don't think." Korcha said with a nod.

((Oh good. I finally got an idea for what can happen. lol))
"Maybe a bit." He touched the door, then the handle. They were both about the same temperature as the room, so he knew it wasn't going to be that much warmer, if at all, once he opened the door.
He pulled the latch, and pushed, the unlocked door slowly swinging into the small room.
It was plain, made of gray stone. In one corner sat a large furnace, some pipes leading out of it and into the wall and ceiling. In the other corner sat a simple stool.
Was this all that Frank brought him down here for? Confused, he pushed on, and ran his hand along the wall, eventually finding the lightswitch. He clicked it, but nothing happened, and he looked to the ceiling. The bulb was present, but must have burnt out, limitng the rooms lighting to what could come in through the open door, and light from the embers in the furnace itself.
Donnie was silent, looking for a sign.

Daisy walked in and looked around. She watched as Donnie trying to turn on a light. "Wow it is dark in here." She nodded walked a bit farther inside with Jr. in her arms. "Kinda spooky too with the fire light."
"We need a flashlight." Korcha annonced as he too walked into the small room. If only he had had one with him. Instead he just had a fishing pole.

Donnie nodded. "It is dark in here." He walked over to the only thing in the room of note, the boiler with it's grated door. He reached out for it, and touched the handle. It was cool to the touch, well insulated from the heat.
Open the door. You know you want to. Have you seen one before?
"One what?"

"Is that hot?" Daisy asked as she watched Donnie touch the boiler grait. Daisy didn't want him to burn himself. She then wondered what one what? ment. Daisy shrugged.
Korcha shurgged as well. "Who said one?" He looked around in case he just missed something. Korcha just shurgged again.

Donnie hadn't even realised he was talking out loud until Korcha had asked. "Nothing.. sorry." He turned away from the furnace, only to be drawn back again.
Look.
He turned once more, and with a delay, grasped the handle once more, finally responding to Daisy's question. "It's not hot at all." He opened the door, the heat billowing out, and in a glimpse of insight, he saw a familiar building burning. It was his home, but that wasn't right.
Burn it to the ground.
Donnie yelled ouit and slammed the door, falling backward. He was breathing heavily, his eyes wide with fright, and a lack of understanding.
Why...?

Korcha nodded and shrugged. "Well, I'm glad it's not hot." He was suprised when Donnie fell backward. "Are you okay? That must have been hot." He had seen the flames inside. He ran over to him to see if Donnie was burnt.
Daisy ran over as well. "Did you get burnt?" She asked as she kneeled down and placed Jr. down as well. She hoped not. Daisy didn't know first aid.

Donnie's breathing slowed, before he finally spoke. "No, I'm alright." He stood up slowly, and brushed himself off, using Korcha to steady himself. "Thanks guys, I'm alright."
Really he wasn't, inwardly juggling his dilemma. He couldn't do that to his home. What would people say if he were found out?
No one will know.
He still wasn't sure, but wanted to leave immediately. He started to balance under his own strength and let his hand off of Korcha. "Guys, I think we should get going. I don't think we should be down here."

Daisy nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. Should we go out the same way we came in? Then go someone less scary?" Daisy picked up Jr. and looked for the exit.
Korcha helped Donnie up. He smiled. "I'm glad you are okay. I think that is a good idea too. Do you know what is in the castle? I know there is a nice candy store in Travese Town." He wondered if the wind had gone down.

"I think we can get out the way we came in. It was a fire exit anyhow." Something dawned on him at that moment. Aren't fire exits supposed to be only accessible for exiting? He hadn't had any trouble opening the doors. How bizarre, perhaps someone had forgotten to lock them, or the locks had broke. Perhaps.
He started out the boiler room door before Korcha's question finally stuck. "I think.. I need to go home now."

"Okay, well it was nice to meet you." Daisy said as she left the boiler room and then out to the stairs. It didn't take too long until she was out by the castle once again. It seemed a bit calmer out now. "There you are." She winked to Jr.
Jr. had followed her all the way up and out. It was nicer out there now...since it was odd and creepy down there.
Korcha smiled. "Yeah, it really was. See us again." Korcha walked slower then Daisy so he could walk Donnie out.

((That's alright. I think this may be able to wrap up soon. If you haven't noticed, this is directly preceding the SC event in the main thread.))
"It was nice to meet you guys too." Donnie came along with them, up the stairs and back out the door they had entered. Each door closed forcefully shut behind them and if they checked, would prove inaccessible.
The day had perked up considerably and proved a bit nicer. The clouds were starting to clear, and one could see the sun peeking out from behind them. They'ds have to walk at least part of the way together, so Donnie carried on alongside his friends.
