Well...I'm going to put this in white, just in case it counts as a spoiler. It might not, I just want to be sure.
The Radio Times (TV magazine) did say that the final double episode thing had cybermen in it, for definate. So, maybe Rose gets turned into a cyberman, and then leads a suicidal mission against the cyber kind, therefore wiping herself out in a dramatic conclusion. Or something.
Having asked my mum (old enough to remember the second series onwards), it seems that more companions have left than died, and we've never had the in depth relationship thing before (apologies if I'm wrong). So it'll be interesting to see the affect on the Doctor. If there is any.
Just thinking out loud...

Since at least three people have expressed concern about the potentially spoilerific nature of the thread's title, I have modified it. Sky Seeker Having asked my mum (old enough to remember the second series onwards), it seems that more companions have left than died, and we've never had the in depth relationship thing before (apologies if I'm wrong). So it'll be interesting to see the affect on the Doctor. If there is any. Just thinking out loud... I'm sure they'll try to milk it for a bit of drama, but the series needs to progress, so hopefully showing the Doctor missing Rose doesn't drag on any more than it needs to. Although, one would hope that the Doctor would miss Rose at least a little more than she missed Mickey after Age of Steel...

I heard somewhere that the finale would have something to do with a war between cybermen and daleks.. but hasn't the word 'brain storm' been mentioned a little often? Couldn't they find another word? I think..she's going to go insane. Or die. I'm not really fussed. If her brain was fried, then that would make my day..actually, no. That would be plain freaky..(it's what happened in one of the RPs here. Not sure which..)
So..repeated things in the series (idea taken from Hairy Priest who did this somewhere else..)
The Doctor is sorry. Soooo sorry.. An argument of some sort?
Rose shall die in battle!! (Although was it not mentioned that she might be able tor eturn to the series later in some way? So, maybe the old Rose died, and a new, insane one sprang up? And she returns as a villian?)

It's not nice being left behind.. so the Doctor leaves her behind somewhere..
So maybe..They have an argument. The Doctor drops her back on earth. Rose realises it's not nice being left behind. Some sort of cybermen and dalek war is going on (on earth..). Rose calls the Doctor. Something..interferes with the call..and her brain gets fried (brain storm!!). The Doctor is sorry. Soooooo very sorry.
Hehehehe..(by the way, I just raided wikipedia for information and gaia's whiteness is hurting my eyes burning_eyes so I don't really know what I'm typing..and I'm feeling..out of it, to say the least. Just rambling.. Heh, you might not even get what I'm saying..

Looks like the BBC is finally leaking out information on the finale to build up excitement. Some lucky folks have already viewed part 1, although the preview disks cut out the very final moments, and the message pops up: "Withheld until transmission date." Looks like they really want to keep something a surprise...

I reckon she will either...
die a big heroic death, saving the doctor and the planet,
or she will be killed by The Torchwood people, in some mistake or something...
or she will become a cyberman crying

I think it's a war between Daleks and Cybermen on earth, and the humans are stuck in the middle, like it said in the summary of the episodes.

Eirwyn I think one of the ideas going on this season has been that the Doctor & Rose aren't taking things seriously & that eventually they are going to pay for that big time, right?
I think that's about to happen, for sure...and suggests they're going to go into this story acting silly & know-it-all again at the start. Not looking forward to watching that. Not taking things seriously? You mean like... if the Doctor and Rose hadn't been so annoying trying to get Her Majesty to say "I am not amused" in Tooth and Claw, maybe Queen Victoria wouldn't have gotten cheesed off and included the Doctor in her list of alien threats for Torchwood to deal with?

Daleks Vs. Cybermen *dreams* I can't wait! I'd heard rumours from before the series was aired there was talk of the daleks making a return, but I was forever sceptical, until I saw the rays from the dalek gun in the trailer after fear her... Now I'm just dying to see the last episodes xd
As for Rose, I think they made it sound too much like she was going to die, with all the references to a girl dying in battle etc. I think that probably means she then won't, although in all honesty I think it would be better if she did. I know that sounds mean, but I think it would be better for her to go out in a blaze or glory, it suits her character so much more.
I ended up putting most that in white, I don't know what classes as spoiler and what doesn't >.< it probably makes no sense at all unless you highlight it! lol

Everyone is talking about the fact that both Daleks and Cybermen are going to be in this and the fact that both of them are probably going to be at war but shouldn't we be speculating about the real threat - whatever's in that sphere?
I mean they already have an idea that could be the focus of an entire story arc (Just like The Trial Of A Time Lord), Daleks v. Cybermen, so why would they include something else? The only explanation is that it has to be something even bigger than both the Daleks and the Cybermen, something so big that they have to use a fight between Daleks and Cybermen to divert our attention. Now, what exactly could it be that is bigger than both the Daleks and the Cybermen put together and has to be kept absolutely secret?
