Most of the spammage seems to behave itself and stay in Chatty Kathy, though, doesn't it? It fears Pope Seffy's wrath.

Good to know. And I think it'd be fine once the topic is off the first few pages, only the exception would be if it's one of those large post-count ones..then you'd just revive it. ^^

No weirdness.. I just noticed that there was A BUNCH OF SPAM! Why don't people read the rules? Why don't they care about each other? I blame the music that is popular today for the degeneration of our society (note: i mean that as a joke).

I prefer my dishes to be free of processed meats pressed into square format. Chicken nuggets are awesome though.

eep! I stumble into the guild and there are people shouting in threads! oh noes! spam is bad, I guess every one went mad with the massive cliffhanger, but now Im scared of posting new topics gonk I was thinking about mabye posting a topic about Series 4 FINALLY playing in Australia (cuz imma Aussie xP) and the fact that Voyage of the Damned (that only was shown last sunday in Aus) got record ratings. but then I got scared and confused about where I should post it, and then I was scared that someone else might have posted something similar and that I might get shouted at, and then I wondered if it would be better off in a suforum, so I decided that not many people would care about doctor who playing in australia and just ran away instead...
~(note: sorry for wasting your time with my rant of complete stupidity, please forgive me great master of this wonderfull guild)~
I shall sleep now and mabye my mind will come back

If in doubt I think it's probably best to find a relative looking topic, either along the same lines or encompassing what you wanted to discuss, and post there, that way you're in no danger of clogging up the boards. If nothing seems imediately apparent then I'd advising trawling back a few pages, just to be sure - much better to see a thread resurected than repeated. In so doing you help keep the forum clean and make it easier for everyone else to do the same.

Really, all goofiness aside, if what you want to talk about is a major topic, like an episode recently aired or some major aspect of the show like the Time Wars, there's probably already a thread here about it unless you're REALLY fast after the UK airing.
About the Australia thing--why wouldn't it be important to let other Australian fans know the series is airing? If you made a thread like, "Series 4 Now in Australia!" That would be an informational thread that might not live long, but would spread important news. If you made a specific episode thread like "Silence in the Library Airs in Australia!" That probably would be considered a repeat thread because regardless of where we are, we can all discuss the episode in its thread when we see it.
I wish they would give Guilds a search feature. That would make it so much easier to find the threads to post in!
