heres the whole thing


After an unsuccessful hunting trip in the spine (a range of mountains), eragon thought that an odd looking stone he stumbled upon would be worht enough to pay for the meat his family needs during winter. When eragon arrived at carvahall, a small town close to palancer valley where he lived, he discovered that no one knew its value, so he decided to keep it. After a period of time, the stone, which was actualy a dragons egg, hatched into a female dragon hatchling. Eragon toucjed the dragon hatchling and recieved the gedway ignasia (shining palm) and named her saphira. Eragon raised saphira very well but one day while riding her, the ra'zac murdered his uncle. Eragon set out with brom the storyteller and saphira to seek revenge

During his travels eragon found a flask of seithr oil, a liquid like acid, but which only burned skin, with the ra'zac's symbol on it. Brom and eragon decided to track the ra'zac by going to teirm to see where the oil gets shipped because it would be the most probable place the ra'zac would be hiding. Once at teirm they went to visit an old friend of brom, jeod the trader, who told them that he only had access his company's records. So they had to go on a dangerous mission to get the records of the seithr oil. After there mission they discovered that the ra'zac would probly be hiding in dras-leona. The next day eragon and brom said goodbye to jeod and went on there way. When they finaly reached dras-leona, instead of them finding the ra'zac the ra'zac found them so they ran out of the city and took shelter behind a big pile of rocks. When they were ready to go to sleep, the ra'zac, which are most powerful at night, attacked them and knocked them uncounscious. When they finaly woke, brom and eragon found there hands bound together and saphira's head covered with a sack. After the ra'zac had talked for a while an unknown attacker started to shoot arrows at them. Finaly, the ra'zac retreated leaving a dagger in broms' ribs. Eragon, weakened, again fell unconscious. When he woke eragon found himself sitting by a fire with a strange person, about his age looking at him. After talking with him he discovered that the strange person, called murtagh, was also an enemy of the ra'zac. After a while of looking after brom who was still weak, brom told eragon to bring the winesking and wash his right hand. After doing what he was told, eragon discovered that brom was a dragon rider, whose dragon had died and who was over 100 years old. Then brom died

After deciding that murtagh could come along with eragon, they headed for gil'ead to meet a person who could tell them where they could find the vardin(a secret alliance of men and dwarves against king galbatorix). After arriving at gil'ead, they discovered an ambush, with many soldiers waiting for eragon, who was captured and taken to prison where he was drugged. After realizing that his food and water were drugged, he decided not to eat or drink anymore until he could think straight, so he could use magic to escape.

After escaping Eragon discovered an elf, wich he'd been seeing in his dreams, was kept prisoner there. So he decided to rescue the elf. When the guards started to attack Eragon, Murtagh came his rescue by shooting some arrows at the guards. Both escaped with help of Saphira, and set up camp nearby. At camp, Eragon healed all the elf's (who was still unconscious) wounds, they dicided to undertake the long journey of crossing the Hadara desert to the Boer Mountains where the Vardin were hiding. Thinking that he could speak to the elf telepathically, Eragon asked the elf where he could find the Vardin. The elf responded that he would tell Eragon if he promised never to ally himself with king Galbatorix.

The elf, whose name was Arya, told him that the vardin were located in a small valley. After Eragon discovered that a rare breed of urgals was following them, called kull. They rushed to the valley and arrived just in time before being attacked by the kull. Once inside the vardin, the vardin demanded that they would be able to examine Eragon and Murtagh's minds to see if they were trustworthy. After being inside the vardin for a while they discovered that the urgals were trying to sneak into the vardin so Eragon and the vardin decided to set up a trap. After fighting the urgals for a while, suddenly eragon was attacked by a shade (a wizard possessed by an evil spirit who could be killed only by being stabbed in the heart which was on the left instead of the right). Arya , the elf who was healed and now fighting, broke the star saphire and caught the shades attentipn. As a result , Eragon was able to stab the shade through the heart. Knocked uncausious, Eragon woke in a house with angela the herbalist who had healed him. Arya, Murtagh and Saphira came in to tell him that the urgals had retreated and the Vardin were safe for now.
