Jekk's hand clasped Kikuka's.
"Never will we falter.
Never will we bend."
He grinned that old grin that usually occupied his face.
"Time does not forget."
His other hand reached for the next Savior.
"And Love shall be my blade."

beginner shielded herself with her arms at the incoming darkness
covering her eyes and after what seemed like a few moments to her she opened them again and it looked as if a peacful scene of serenity had come over everyone
"...what just happend?"

jasae stands up wincing "ouch...what should i do now?"
suddenly a bright light flashed in the sky and a large robot resembeling a kiki kitty apeared
and it held up a giant sign I AM THE AMAZING KIKI KITTY Z PILOTED BY THE MYSTERIOUS PHANTOM GHOST KITTY X

((Durn dur dur dur durn! *trumpet sounds* I should like to point out that ya'll are kinda... missing the point of Evil's post. Could ya'll go back and look again, then see that your posts fit the storyline? I'm not trying to be mean, just want to maintain continuity, and I can either react to things as he has them, or react to things as you have them, and that's a choice I'd rather not make. I'll post an action once everything is smoothed out.))

((I think it was more Beginner insisting that she "accidentally" blocked Aren's dark claw, even though my post stated that Aren and Beginner had been moved so Beginner was out of Aren's reach.))

The Darkness looked around at them with Aren's face, and laughed. "If you will not fight, then you will die." It called. "And can you love the thing that slew your father, cursed your mother and ruined your realm?" It lunged forward to place its face a scant inch away from the Princess's. "The thing that slew your savior, took your lover's leg," the insinuation was clear, but the thing seemed to have ADD, for it turned to look at the ghost kitty thing.
Aren's face twitched.
A moment later the Darkness began to laugh.
In Jasae's hands, nightmare and Illusion 'looked' at each other, somewhat unhappily, and then surged, unleashing their power in a battery upon the poor muse's mind. He was not Aren. He was not of Aren's blood. He was no kin of Aren's in any way.
He was not, therefor, allowed to hold them, or leash their power, or weild them in anyway.
He was allowed to let go, and that was about it.
So fear in essence, and delusion incarnate assaulted the musician savior with an unrelenting mindset, determind to drive him mad or be free, or both, preferably. They shared the same thought, though:
Aren's gonna kill us. No matter that they were immortal and couldn't die, she'd find a way to do it--provided she survived, after all.

the giant kiki kitty Z struck a heroic pose
"ACK!!!"
jasae winced as the unfamiliar emotions assulted his mind and he fell backwards in confusion
but either in a bit of sheer luck, subconcious defense mechanism or some outside force
jasae tried to inspire these emotions onto someone else
but in jasaes current state it was erratic...
and went randomly.....
((first time i ever had to use that trick before sweatdrop ))

Kiku restrained the urge to spit the darkness in the face as its face appeared just before her's. She did not flinch however and her gaze was steely. She replied cooly, "I will love everything of my land, even if it contains you." Her chin was held high stubbornly. Green eyes glittered with defiance.

The essences of fear and delusion hit Jekk.
"Kiku!"
He struggled against the powerful emotions that now assaulted his senses.
"Never... Forget..."
The veins in his forehead pulsated.
His throat erupted in a howl of agony.
"I... Love... you."
And then, fear and delusion destroyed his defenses, and claimed his mind.
But, wait.
Something was wrong about them.
Jasae's inspiring had changed them.
Unfortunately, not for the better.
A berserk fury now held sway over the mind of Jekk Alkani.
He roared with vehement bloodlust.
And he charged the woman who was once one of his closest friends.
His daggers drawn, he leaped at Aren and the Darkness within her.

"Will you, highness?" The darkness asked, reaching a tainted hand out to tip her face up--Kikuka had always been shorter than Aren, but the Dream Savior had never been one to emphasize it. If anything, Aren had played it down. Now the Darkness for Kikuka to look up to it, smiling wickedly. "Will you really? Even when everything you love has turned against you?"
The black-and-red hawk with tained claws descended on Jekk with a blood-curdling shriek.
The amulet pulsed.
And the darkness held the princess's face despite whatever attempt might be made, leaving Jekk to the bit of it that held Knight enthralled.

And one of Jekk's blades found their mark deep within the plumage of the hawk known as Knight.
As the bird fell to the ground, he stepped forwards.
With a roar full of hatred and bloodlust.
Pain infiltrated that roar from his true emotions, trapped behind the fury.
He ripped Aren's hand from his beloved's face.
He picked her up and threw her away from the princess.
He strode over to where she had landed, her form no longer a thratening one.
No longer appearing to be the host of Darkness.
Appearing to still be the young woman who had valiantly stood with the saviors.
The woman who had laughed.
And cried.
And been one of Jekk's closest friends.
She looked like Aren, but would never fully be Aren again.
Jekk screamed inside his own head, raging against the emotion that held him prisoner within it.
He watched as his own hand took one of his daggers and drove it through Aren's stomach.
