Eva_Valenti I don't know, but I think I heard somewhere that Satan used to be God's number one disciple or something, until he hit rock bottom (of evil)... o_o; he use to be his head angel and i dont think God loves him

tubbyflip Eva_Valenti I don't know, but I think I heard somewhere that Satan used to be God's number one disciple or something, until he hit rock bottom (of evil)... o_o; he use to be his head angel and i dont think God loves him ah, but our father must love all, including those who have fallen, even the once great Archangel Lucifer.

yes and no. God loves everyone no matter how deep in sin they are and puting it in to perspective satan is sin thats all God hates about satan but he loves him because he loves his creations and satan was one of the created

I think that God loves Satan. Satan may be pure evil, but so are the other people who are in hell. I know God still loves them, no matter what horrible things they did before they died.

Kel2665 I believe he does hate satan. There ARE things God hates. God hates evil. And Satan IS evil. God is Vengefull so that shows that he does take his anger out on evil. He said He is going to kick satan into the lake of fire HIMSELF, and He is always telling us to treat satan as if he is under our feet. You never really know for sure though untill the end. But that is what I believe.

hey, slightly related, what type of angel was satan? i have heard angel, seraphim and everything in between. the most likely is archangel or cherubim, but if anyone can confirm it i'd be quite grateful.

Cometh The Inquisitor has a point where he says that God loves Satan he does. in the bible it says that God loves everyone and everything just because the devil is evil doesn't mean God doesn't love him. God hates evil but loves those who r evil just as much as he loves his disiples. he just doesn't love their actions.

Haven923 God IS Love. I personally do not beleive that he is capable of hatred. He can be angry, sad, hurt, loving, ashamed, etc. But I do not know of it saying that God hates ANYWHERE in the Bible. It is out of character for God to hate. Lucifer WAS God's top Angel. Possibly a Seraph. Lucifer had all of the powers of God. Lucifer decided to overpower God, but was banished to Hell. It was the Angel Michael that banished him. Some beleive that there was some sort of fight between the two. It was probally out of shame that God banished Lucifer. Lucifer fears God. He has to ask before he does 3nodding Take the story of Job for example. Lucifer went to God and asked him to put Job through trial. He had to ASK God. God gave him the boundry that he couldn't cross and Lucifer obediently obeyed. Yeah it does say God can hate. Read Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers. Although satan does these things, it is not the person that God hates, it is the action. But God can hate.
