My favorite is when Asuka starts school with the other children and suggests that her and Rei be friends. Rei replies that if she's ordered to be friends, she will be. (I can't remember the exact quote.)

I dunno why...but I found it completely amusing (once I got over the psychotic shock of the End of Evangelion) when Asuka says "How Disgusting" right at the end...

It is. Atleast in the dub, anyway... My favorite quote was when Shinji first saw Eva Unit 01. He makes a very funny scream and goes "What the hell is that!?" I just think his screaming is funny.

The very end of the show when they all stand around him clapping their hands and someone says 'congratualtions." Either that or the last line of them ovie, how disgusting. I dont know why, they just stuck a chord in me.
