American Dad isn't that bad, but that question is like comparing candy to moldy vegetables, American Dad is too dry for me, and the only reason i watched it in the fiiiiirst place was cus the makers of Family Guy made it!

Well Family Guy was first, and American Dad is just a spin-off the creators made...i still think Family Guy beats all. I own all the seasons of both shows, and i will admit American Dad has it's great moments, Family Guy is more funny overall

Whoa whoa whoa. Whats with all this American Dad hate? I like it. But I guess you must also like politics and agents and aliens and melodramatic moements to get it. Most of the jokes are very subtle but if you get them...they hit home baby. Makes you cry inside... crying

They're both dramatically close... I mean they're from the same creators... BUT i would have to go With Family Guy.
