LunarSong LORD, sorry, lol. HIM is my favorite band in the whole history of the music world. My friend was JUST trying to tell me that HIM is Emo... HIM was out waaaay before Emo became a gayass trend. Him is usually consider, Metal, Gothic Rock, or Alt. Rock... D: I hate when people call HIM Emo.. sorry, jsut had to say it lol. lol the gothic rock does not exist, thats just an "imitation" of Dark metal =) some people think that the gothic metal exist but it does not exist... I dont like him... but if you like it i dont have any problem ^^ lol, thanks for the information i was thinking that Him was an emo band...

Just seems like all the kids that are always complaining about their terrible lives in my town are singing to them a lot at kareoke. Dx I used to love them, but now...they're just terrible. The other kids ruined it for me man....
But anyways...yeah...would they be thought of as one? Or are they more Goth or some other genre or something?

Actually, I know that the actual Emo bands faded a long time ago. Now, there are these perhaps 'falsely' accused bands in the 2000's of being Emo. But I suppose, everyone has their own opinion. If I listed some Emo bands from way back when, I'm sure no-one will of heard of them--- and you're lucky too. I really researched this stuff ^^; I listened to the Emo-core music bands. And they sucked balls.

I don't know if these are emo bands but I can't stand them...
Bascially the bands you guys named.
You can say there is a difference between them if you want. Personally the vocals of the bands sound the same to me. As far as the lyrics go I don't bother to even read them. But the vocals are just sooooo annoying and the music drives me away.
And I use to think Rap was bad... That is until I heard this s**t.
