I'll be the first to admit that I'm definitely more of an NFL guy than a college guy. However, when it comes to rivalries, some of the ones mentioned are pretty good.
USC-UCLA Michigan-Ohio St. Oklahoma-Texas Florida-Tennessee
All of these are good rivalries. But, in my opinion, there are two rivalries that are even better, one that you've probably heard of and one that I'm sure you haven't.
Doane College Tigers vs. Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves
I'm a graduate of the former of these two and I can say that when these two clash, it's more exciting than any Division I school rivalry game I've ever seen, live or on TV. Including:
Nebraska vs. Oklahoma.
It doesn't happen as often as it used to (with the way the Big XII works), but when it happens you're guaranteed a classic. The Game of the Century back in the 1970's when Johnny Rodgers returned that famous punt to secure the Heisman. Oklahoma's glory years as recently as 2002. But, the big one was in 2001 when OU was #1 and NEB was #2 and Eric Crouch (who later won the Heisman and got blown out by Colorado and eventual NCAA Champions Miami) caught a TD pass to topple the #1 Sooners.

BYU vs University of Utah
It doesn't matter how good or crappy of a season either team has had, they come out for blood at this game. BYU used to own this rivalry but the Utes have been making it rough lately. The week leading up to this game is one of my favorite weeks of the season. As for what side I am on well let me just say GO COUGARS!

I have to say that the rivalry I think is the best is one of the longest running out of all, Utah Utes and Brigham Young University Cougars. Never ever has this game been a complete let down to the fans becaus, it always comes down to the last plays. Not even when the Utes made their run to the Fiesta bowl.

Ohio State and Michigan. It will be the best rivalry of the year if they can both stay frist and second in the national standings. Plus Ohio State got new sod just for that game.

OSU vs. Michigan
no competition. Has anybody ever seen the streets after the games it filled with people and fights. The players have to leave fast so nothing happens. If you have a Michigan Car and you at the horseshoe Don't be surpriosed If your tires are flat when the game is over.

TEXAS VS. ARKANSAS or TEXAS VS OU.
I would LOVE to see the Razorbacks play the Horns in the Fiesta bowl(which will only happen if Arkansas loses to Florida, not likely.)

Ohio and Michigan is definitely a good rivalry.
To me, Virginia Tech and Virginia has always been a good one. It's just not as noteable as Ohio and Michigan probably. Of course then again Virginia Tech has won the last two games against UVA.

Michigan vs. Ohio State is so rich in history and legend that no other rivalry even compares. It is called The Game for a reason.

Bob Stoops is basically one of the greatest college football coaches ever. He's practially a genius when it comes to stratigizing and i'm still thinking ND-Michigan St. is shaping up to b a good rivalry. my IRISH WONT GO OUT WITH A LOSS AGAIN BEAT LSU!
