"I know... I know." She then gave a smile that wasn't forced at all and went back into her human form. Trina had looked up at them and grabbed onto Smash's hand. She tried to change the subject. "I can fly now." She gave a big smile and looked at him with her bright blue eyes.

Trina took off in a run, but didn't go far until she flapped her wings and was in the sky. She was twisting and turning in the air as she was flying and Mari just looked up at her and smiled. "She's been practicing."

They had enjoyed the rest of their day despite a rocky start and Bron even invited them to dinner. After their fun day, they had said goodbye to Bron and Trina and gave word that they would visit again. Mari and Smash had went to his dimension afterwards.

Mari had come to the Angel realm while Matt was training, but she didn't tell him why. All she mentioned was that she was going to visit Bron and Trina for a bit and she'd be home later. He didn't even see her face before she left. She mentioned it from the window of the treehouse. Now, in the realm, she was in the palace in a room that seemed to look like an infirmary. Black spikes cutting through the shirt sleeves and even claws coming from the backs of her hands. Some blood trickling from where they protruded from her skin. She sat on the side of the bed and looked at the ground infront of her.
Bron came in using his cane to support him as he walked and a doctor, Vinsa, that was wearing a lab coat, but had red eyes and white hair. His angel wings against his back. He wore a pair of glasses that were silver metal frames. "Mari... What have you been around lately?" Bron could only say. The doctor then spoke. "The only way these markings could be acting up and mutating your skin... You have to be around a lot of dark energy. Anything you been fighting?" Mari just sat there and looked past the doctor, still at the floor. "There's these creatures that have been attacking Verisana City... Me and Matt have been fighting them off. They seem to be composed of dark energy."
Bron hit his cane off the floor pretty hard making a clack. "You know you can't stay around dark energy much. Your body's allergic to it ever since that war!" He seemed angry and that's when Vinsa took over for him. The doctor was looking at a medical report and file he had kept of Mari this past year or two. "Especially since we can't seperate that energy from your aura. Or at least we don't know how yet." Mari looked over her arms and and the black shimmer of the spikes that were as hard as titanium. As light as it too. She even clenched her right fist and held it up infront of her a bit looking over the claws. Her face seemed to show no emotion. "Aren't you listening to anything that's being said?" Bron scolded her. She responded in a low tone that seemed to hold anger. "Don't talk to me as if I'm a child. I'm a young woman. I don't need you to guard me anymore, Bron."
Vinsa then looked at them both and spoke up. "Mari, I'm going to administer a vacination for you. So the markings will stop mutating. This is only temporary, though, considering if you come in contact with dark energy again, that's not what you already absorbed, the markings will shift again and do this." Bron glared at her after her words to him. "Does Smash know?" Mari shook her head. "Why would I worry him about nothing?" Bron then hit his cane off the floor again, this time causing it to crack. "It isn't nothing! This is harming you!" She then stood up and screamed at him. "I'm fine! As long as I watch the energy I'm around, I'll be fine!"
Bron couldn't take anymore. In his condition he was in no mood to argue with her stubborn attitude. He left the room limping out using his cane that seemed to be about to break, leaving Mari and Dr. Vinsa in the room. She sat back down and rolled up her sleeve past the spikes and waited for him to give her the medication.

Mari came in through a portal and kept it open for Matt. They were here so Mari could talk to Vinsa a bit about the shot he gave her and further check up about her condition.

Mari went up to the palace and the guards let her and Matt through. Soon they were walking through the place and in the infirmary area. As Vinsa walked in, he gave her a smile and held out his hand. "Miss Star. What brings you here?" Mari shook his hand and smiled. "I'm here to tell you how that vacine's been working and to ask some questions. Oh. This is Matt. Smash as you've heard of him from Bron." The doctor then took his hand away from her and held it out to Smash, looking at him through his red eyes. "Very nice to meet you."

"I'm just fine." He took his hand away and opened a door to an examination room. Walking in, Mari followed and took a seat on the table that was inside. "So... What happened?" He took a seat in a doctor's chair in the room and there was another chair for Matt to sit in. "I was fighting more of those dark creatures. They're called night fiends... And it acted up again." Vinsa just started taking notes on a clipboard of his. "After we came back from where they were, the medicine kicked in and made the spikes retract. It was when we were out of the area and a while after."

"More or less... I want to know how long this medication will stay in my system and keep this allergy under wraps." Mari looked up at him and wondered what his answer would be. Vinsa shook his head. "I'm honestly not sure. I'm still trying to find a way to cure you completely instead of these 50-50, work or don't work solutions. I'm even asking doctors from different dimensions and races."

"So you still don't know?" Mari seemed quite upset. She just wanted to stop having to hurt and be in pain most of all. "I don't know what to say. I really don't. We'll just keep to the vacine for now." Vinsa knew she was upset and didn't know what else to do.

Vinsa turned towards Smash and looked at him. He never met or talked to a human before other than fellow doctors or physicians. "Mari is the first case of this ever happening to be honest. How can there be someone else who knows something if it has never happened before? Probably the one who knows the most about it is me." He sounded arrogant, but he was far from being it. He was speaking in truth. He never heard of aura allergies before until Mari had gotten it from being exposed to it so long in the war. She was also the only angel demon that could absorb energy of the dead through her blood stream. It was her family power, but none before her ever had this happen. They usually only stole the souls of humans or fellow angel demons.
