Meralda sped up as she approached the second wall and lept into the air as she grabbed for the rope to save some of her arm strength. She began walking up the wall as pulled herself up. "Only 10 feet left!" She grunted. As she took another step with her right foot, a piece of the brick seemed to cruple away. Her eyes widened as she realixed that her foot-hold was gone. Now off-balance, she swung around on the rope and her shoulder slammed into the wall. She gritted her teeth and hung on for dear life. Her heart was pounding and adrenaline was courseing through her blood. Steading her breathing, she again faced the wall and regained her footing. Reaching the top of the wall, she noticed Zetsu grinning at her. She growled and angrily took a hold of the other rope. She slid down, being carefull of her bruised shoulder and quickly reached the ground. She raced full speed after Zetsu, determined to make him pay for that smirk.
Reaching the third wall, she lept as high as she could, as she took hold of the rope and planted her feet on the wall and began ascending the same as before. She was starting to get the hang of this now, and the only thing that worried her was the ache in her shoulder. Used to pain, she ignored it and continiues her climb. With 20 feet still left to go, she realized that she had to take a break or she was going to fall. Getting an idea, she took the rope and wrapped it around her waist. Making a knott that would hold her weight. That done, she leanded back and made sure her feet had a good grip on the wall. Meralda rubbed her sore shoulder and winced as realized it had been bleeding. She carefully licked the blood from her shoulder, counting on the healing powers of cat's saliva to help it. She ripped off a piece of her pant leg and bandaged the wound. Finished, she again began to ascend the rope, not bothering to untie it from her waist in case she slipped agian. Reaching the top, she sat on the wall and untied it, letting it drop back to the ground. Quickly sliding down the other side of the wall, she set her sight on the fourth wall.

Lowering himself onto the ground behind the fourth wall, Zetsumei aimed a quick glance at the fifth wall, and he began to run the short distance to its base. Upon reaching the start of the wall, he let out a deep breath and took hold of the frayed rope in both of his hands. He then placed his feet on either side of the rope and began to slowly walk up the wall. This approach was very slow and after finally reaching the top of the fifth wall, he decided to continue scaling the walls the same way as he had been doing before. Zetsu rappeled down the fifth wall and landed once again. He made his way over the sixth wall without trouble, and scaled the seventh wall with no difficulty.
Beginning with the eighth wall however, he began to feel weak once more, and his hungry limbs began to shake once again. Grabbing hold of the first rope of the eighth wall, he attempted to climb using the most energy-saving method as possible, yet by the middle of the wall, 25 feet above the gound, his hands slipped and he fell back 6 feet before he luckily grabbed hold of the rope. Knowing if he lingered any longer he would fall, he scrambled upwards and grabbed hold of the edge of the wall. Pulling himself onto the wall, he decided to slide downwards once again more carefully than the last slide. Zetsu managed to lower himself downwards and at last, he made it. Two walls were left and he was aware of a person approaching close behind him. This managed to help stimulate his exhausted body into action and he began to jog to the ninth wall.
Coercing his mind to remain separate from his body, he forced his screaming muscles to obey what his mind wanted them to do. "Hand-over-hand," he told his body. The words were all he was thinking of, all he cared about. All was a blur, and before he knew it, he was facing the final obstacle in his path, the tenth wall. Looking upwards, he knew that once he was over he would be finished...And he began to climb. The sound of his own breath was all he heard. The crazed beating of his heart was all he felt. Unknowingly he had made it halfway upwards when he began to feel the light, feathery feeling in his head. Hurriedly Zetsu scrambled to make it to the top before he blacked out and 8 seconds later, he broke through and saw the other side. He blindly grasped for a hold and threw himself onto the top of the wall. By this time his lungs were exploding, and he could feel his muscles spasming. Rolling over, he grasped the rope which was his exit and he made his way down slowly. Once on the ground he stumbled around and saw the other finishers resting in their various places. Smiling light-headedly he took a step toward them, and dropped to the ground in a faint. He had finished.

((Sorry, but I had to go and couldn't finish. I'll try and finish now.))
The ache in Meralda's shoulder was beginning to diminish, and she got her second wind. Making a flying leap, she grabbed the rope leading up the fourth wall. As she did, she detected the scent of blood coming from the rope. Again thankfull that she was wearing gloves, she quickly scaled the wall. Reaching the top of the wall, she noticed that she was again alone on the track. "s**t!" she cursed. She quickly threw herself over the top of the wall and began to slide down the rope. Reaching the ground, she sprinted toward the fifth wall, the wall that marked the half-way point.
The fifty-foot obstacle cast a great shadow on the ground in front of her. The nearer she got to the wall, the more menacing it looked. To spur herself on-ward, Meralda imagined it to be another street-rogue that had to be taken down. Her pupils narrowed and she growled. Extending her claws, she attacked the wall. Adrenaline pounding through her viens, she ignored the rope, prefering to scale the wall with her hands and feet, finding the grooves between the bricks quite usefull for climbing. Climbing quickley as to not lose her momentum, she reached the top. Getting on top of the wall on all-fours, she took a moment to gloat over her victory in defeating the evil...wall?... Meralda shook her head as she regained her senses. "Damn it all to hell!" She had let her insticts get the better of her. It rarely happened, but when it did, she had trouble distinguishing between illusion and reality. She had almost forgotten to complete the training! She wouldn't let that happen again. She'd have to finish the course without using her special abitlities. Retracting her claws, she slid down the rope as a normal person. Reaching the ground without further incident, she focused her attention on the sixth wall.
Jogging toward the wall, she realized that that transformation was going to cost her dearly. Her streangth had diminished greatly, and she was starting to feel the effects. Her breath came in labored gasps and she was sweating profusely. Reaching the sixth wall, she leaned over and panted, trying to catch her breath. Wiping the sweat from her brow, she reached up and took ahold of the rope, preparing to haul herself up. "GAHHH!!" Meralda flinched feeling her arm muscles spasm. Besides that, the pain in her bruised shoulder was returning in full measure. Refusing to surrender to the pain, she focused all of her attention on putting on hand over the other. "You're almost there, you're almost there." she told herself. Eventually, after what seemed like ages, she was there. Draggin her reluctant body on top of the unforgiving brick wall, she carefully stretched and massaged her aching muscles, determined to finish the course. Deciding to rappel down the wall, rather than slide, she thankfully got to earth. Forcing her legs to move, Meralda reached the seventh wall.
"Only four left..." she told herself.
((sorry again- Mom's yelling at me to get off... I PROMISE I'll finish next time.))

Aiusagi walks in wearing clothes that are light and flexable, the purpose being they are generally versitile, and she can manuever most situations. "Lieutenant Sagi reporting for training," she says raising her hand in a salute. "What is my first mission." She stands waiting with perfect posture, but lowers her hand awaiting her first orders.

Once again, Meralda looked around to see if anyone else was on the track. She noticed a lone figure standing at attention near the Captian. Meralda shook her head and grinned to herself. She herself hadn't realized that you were simply supposed to start training without reporting, just like this newcomer. The Captian was becoming more irratated with each person that did that. Remembering the look Suicide had given her spurred her to keep going. Groaning, she force her trembling hand to grab the dirtied and frayed rope. Trying to use more of her leg strength to save her arms from more damage, she inched her way up the rope. She was shaking limb from limb and sweat was pouring down her face. She dared not wipe it away, fearing that she would lose her grip and fall. "I...need...WATER..." she groaned. Bing out in the hot sun for so long and climbing all those walls was causing Meralda to become greatly dehydrated. She looked up toward the top of the wall, and the distance seemed to strench on forever before her. She trying to focus on the rope, but it wouldn't stay still... Confused, Meralda followed the circling motion of the rope as everything started to go dark. Suddenly, she became fully aware that she was falling! Terrified, she tightened her grip on the rope. Breathing hard, her heart pounding, she tried to calm down. Steadying herself, she looked around. She had been about ten feet from the top when she fell, and she had only lost about five. Pushing the thought of water from her mind, she continued to climb. Scrambling on top of the wall, she promply slid down the other side. In a hurry to be back on the ground, she didn't try to slow her descent. Landing hard, she rolled to get rid of the momentum from her fast drop. Geting back to her feet, she consentrated on the 8th wall.
Keeping in time with her footsteps, Meralda repeated two words, "Three more, three more, three more..." She vowed she would finish this course no matter what it took. Refusing to stop, even for breath, she climbed the wall as quickly as her throbbing muscles would let her. Dragging her exhausted body over the well, she rappelled downward, not wanting to hit the ground as hard as the last time. "Come ON, just TWO more..."
She continued to repeat those words, even after she had arrived at the ninth wall and began to climb it. Meralda closed her eyes and persistently climbed despite her aches and pains. Losing track of everything except the rope in her hands, she was startled when she reached up and there was no more rope to grab. She opened her eyes and smiled slightly to herself. "One more, one more..." she said as she slid down the rope.
Her body was reaching it's limits by the time she approached the tenth wall. She was sustaining herself on pure determination now. Not even thinking not, she robotically ascended the wall. Hand-over-hand, she climbed the wall, pushing herself past her limits. Half-way up the wall, her arms refused to work anymore. She wouldn't be able to hold on much longer. Her muscules were spasming and she shook as she fought to hold on to the rope. Tears began to well up in her eyes... "... no... no... NO!!!! I will NOT cry!!! I am NOT WEAK!!! I am STRONG!!!"Angry that she had allowed herself to show such weakness, she forces her arms to start moving again. Finally, FINALLY, she conquered the last wall. Feeling as if she could sob with relief, she slid down the last rope.
Meralda reached the ground and looked ahead. There were no more walls... she really and trully was done. Looking forward to a nice long rest was what convinced her to jog to the end of the track. Spying Zetsumeii passed out on the ground, her last consious thought was, "That looks like a good idea..."
