She's kinda like the bad influence of everybody. She's got a cold somewhat reptilian personality and she loves to piss off Draco(among many others). Her family is well known for their dark arts shop, selling many serpents, venoms, potions, and other dark things relating to the families history with serpentine artifacts.

Diana was born during a solar eclipse, and Fiona knew of a dark artifact known as the Altar of Twilight, which accepted only pureblood sacrifices during the blood moon (Lunar Eclipse). If there are "exactly opposite but equal circumstances of birth" of the one who is being sacrificed, then the Altar would produce a Moon Talisman, capable of giving the wearer immortality. In basic terms, Diana was born from good and evil, and born during a solar eclipse, so if she would die on the altar during a lunar eclipse, it would satisfy all the conditions necessary for eternal life. Fiona had planned this all out from the very beginning. It was rumoured that she cared about Severus Snape, but her loyalty to Voldemort was much stronger, which is why she won over Richard and concieved Diana to be born during the eclipse, so that she could sacrifice her daughter to aid the dark lord's cause. Because of her plan, Richard knew he must destroy his wife, and of course Fiona wouldn't go down without a fight. They both cast the killing curse simultaneously, and both hit. Diana was found by a member of the Order and taken to live with a caring muggle family. She was unaware of her past, spending her first 5 years at Hogwarts thinking she was a muggle-born until her parents told her she was adopted, and she found out about her birth parents. What everyone left out was the Altar and the Ritual of the Blood Moon, to this day she is unaware of either. All she has is her parents' names, and the fact that one was good, and the other evil.
