(( XD I was really hoping! ^w^ ))

Silvio snickered, shaking his head again. He was about to refuse the offer, until his stubbornness kicked in. Why refuse when it might get him out of this place all the sooner, and back on track to his goal? "Y-You know... I think I might go do that," he said, trying to get a hold of his voice enough to sound strong enough to do so. He cringed as the washcloth touched his wounds, just now coming to terms on how much pain he should be in. Did every wound feel this bad? He seethed air in through clenched teeth, inhaling and exhaling slowly to try to ease the pain away.

Motega grinned sincerely and bowed, happily singing a, "Thank you! I am most grateful for it!" Finally, they found something they could do together! Although they couldn't do it today, it was something to look forward to in the future, which meant they would meet again. Hopefully, he could draw Winny out from behind his shell. "I know how that goes! I've made some awful concoctions!" he laughed, rubbing his head.

"Hey," he said, on a second thought, "would you like to take a look around the area with me? I know it, so we won't get lost. And we'll come right back here whenever you want. Whaddaya say?" Since he was getting interested in what Winny liked, perhaps Motega could find something new for him that he liked, too.

Jiki buried his head in Marlon's shoulder at his comment, unable to bring himself to ask the question that was nagging at him so. His hair was so soft, it managed to soothe the fox more than just his words could, and he tightened his grip on the bunny for fear of letting this moment slip by. "I never want this moment to end..." he whispered into Marlon's ear, tears falling without his noticing. It was just like him to ruin a moment like this with his distressing thoughts, when this should be the best moment in his life.

(( EDIT: Woot! Page 3! <333 ))

(( xd

Yay for Pg 3!!))

Riley grinned as Silvio agreed. Though he caught the coon's snickering, he kept his comments to himself. Not to mention the cringes... "Well the shower's over there-" the fox said, pointing to the door on over his shoulder. "And some clean towels. And please, just relax! I'm not going to kill you!"

Winny blushed a little as Motega smiled. Yes, he blushed VERY easily. "Oh I'm sure they can't be that bad! But everyone has to start somewhere." he said, chuckling a little as he remembered. His first try at cooking was a disaster!

The lavander bunny kept quiet as Jiki put his head into Marlon's shoulder. Feeling Jiki tighten his grip, the bunny cuddled e ven more. "Me neither..." he murmured when the beta finally spoke. "And maybe it won't have to.."

(( Sorry it took so long to post... ^^; ))

Silvio rose from the bed shakily, turning back to Riley as he explained where everything was. He flashed a weak smile at the fox's last comment, snorting. "I know that... However, there are things worse than death," he stated, rising to his feet and slowly walking toward the door behind them. He knew this fact all too well, even though he didn't expect Riley to be doing anything that would warrant such an accusation. "I guess I'll see you in a few," he said with a c**k of his ears as he opened the door.

Motega snickered as he closed his eyes, replying, "Oh, they were pretty bad! I'm sure I'd be better at it if I was used to using so many ingredients, but I'm used to just cooking what I find. However, you are correct. We don't all start off knowing how to do things like this." He blinked, watching the unicorn with interest. He was a rather odd fellow, but incredibly friendly once one got to talking. "So, how about that walk?" he winked.

The fox blinked, finally noticing he had been crying again. He sighed; he was so soft... why did his emotions have to get the better of him? He was annoying himself with his own worry, and probably frightening Marlon in some way or another because of it. "I'm sorry... I'm such a baby," he growled the last part, trying to loosen his grip a little. But Marlon's words caught Jiki's attention, and he pulled his head back to look Marlon in the eyes, "What do you mean?"

((Tis okay!))

Riley couldn't help but continue to smile as Silvio sent a small smile his way. But he blinked in surprise at the coon's statement. 'There are things worse than death'? That was pretty ominous... "See ya in a few!" Riley said as the coon opened the door to enter the bathroom.

The dark unicorn giggled as Motega explained his cooking disaster. "Maybe you just need someone there to help you keep track of everything." Winny suggested. But at the suggestion and wink, Winny blushed. He blushed enough that it could be seen even against his dark complexion. "That sounds good..."

Marlon smiled up at the beta. "You're not a baby... You're my baby." he said, and immediately paused. He'd always wanted to say that, but... actually saying it? It felt wonderful. "Maybe we could move in together?" he suggested, smiling hopefully.

(( Yeah, but I want to get in some posts before you have to go! ^^ ))

There were no change of clothes, but Silvio preferred it that way. After all, he didn't want to be wearing someone else's life, their history, on himself. Perhaps this was just his mind thinking too narrowly, but he had only remembered ever wearing these clothes he had on, and everything that had happened to him was with them. He didn't have time to really be thinking otherwise as the water warmed.

Hopping in, there was really no other choice he had then to let his mind wander. What exactly did they do to him? Why couldn't he remember anything from over a year ago? It was like he just blinked into exsistence, into a world of hatred and pain, and he had no other choice in the matter but to endure it. He hissed slightly through his teeth as the water pounded on his body, somehow managing to find every sore spot he had and intensifying it. He stumbled slightly as he opened his eyes, watching as the blood-dyed water swirled down the drain. Was it really so bad? He could feel the cuts from everywhere...

This is nothing... absolutely nothing compared to before, he thought with a grumble, and fought to ignore the pain and clean himself off. His fur was matted with blood and dirt, but he didn't care to scrub too hard. He just had to get moving as soon as he was able, or everything would be for naught. There had to be some meaning to this miserable life, and he would find the person that made that past terrible year possible. He owed him his life, after all, and what better way to repay it that freeing him from his own prison? However, Silvio never truly felt free, and he figured he never would again, for how can one feel free if they have never tasted it?

He stumbled out of the shower as soon as he could, feeling cleaner yet all the worse. He tied the readily-available towel around his waist after drying his long hair, squeezing most of the water out over the sink with his bushed tail. As he searched for a brush, or anything to get the tangles out of his silver hair, the room turned a sickeningly bright hue before turning black. He came to his senses to find himself on the floor, everything numb but his head pulsing like he should be feeling the pain. His hand shook as he reached out to grasp the floor and pull himself up, but he couldn't find the strength to put much force in anything. Dammit... I lost too much blood. How am I going to get out of this? he growled mentally, not ready to give up yet but feeling his senses slipping. This wasn't good...

Motega snickered, "And someone to tell me what everything is usually used for. I could swear some tastes weren't put in, but..." It was rather amusing talking about his mishaps like this, and it made him laugh. As his laughter subsided and his question was answered, Motega noticed the bright red blush gracing Kerwin's cheeks. The shy unicorn was cute before, but this trait only made him all the more adorable. He stuck out his tongue playfully and said, "Don't worry. We can take a short tour this time; we'll be back before you know it. After all, you can't see everything to terribly in the nighttime, but it's always best to gain your senses at that time for when you need it." Motega was a survivor; he had lived his life outdoors, but was not about to flaunt his knowledge. Instead, he preferred to share it.

Jiki's wings relaxed at Marlon's words, and just the tone of it soothed him more than anyone else could do. His worrying thoughts seemed to melt, coming to the conclusion that it was not if Jiki deserved Marlon's love, it was Marlon's choice to give his heart to him in that he trusted him with it; he trusted Jiki with his own life. He smiled at the bunny's words, unable to hold himself back as he kissed Marlon -- Jiki's first real kiss. Pulling back, he smiled sweetly, worry absent from his eyes, and almost whispered, "I think that would be great."

((Eh, we get through what we get through. x3))

The fox sighed and looked around his room while Silvio went to shower. There wasn't much Riley could do except wait. And he hated sitting around with nothing to do. Joscelin was probably practicing with his daggers and would inflict pain upon sight. Winny was... somewhere. And Marlon either day-dreaming about his friend/lover accompanying Winny or brooding about his friend/lover.

Giving another sigh, though this time exasperated, Riley moved to his stereo system and put on one of his newer CD's. Cranking up the volume, the harsh beat began and he felt himself begin to move with it. Ah, he could certainly lose himself to it. As he usually did. But he stopped in the middle when he thought he heard a thud.

Hurrying to turn down his music, Riley put an ear to his bathroom door. It twitched as he heard nothing. Fearing the worse, the fox knocked on the door. "Silvio! Silvio, are you alright? Hey!"

"Okay... If you say so." Winny agreed, smiling as Motega reassured him and snickered. "Only a short one. I'm worried about my other flatmates..." Of course that was nothing new. Kerwin was always worrying over them like a mother hen.

Marlon could have melted right as Jiki kissed him. His long lavender ears perked straight up as he returned the kiss. A sill grin overtook his features when the beta ended it. "Me too..."

Silvio grunted as he continued to try to pull himself up, realizing he was probably just wasting energy -- and blood -- in the meantime. He hated being so helpless, but if he didn't do something soon, he might pass out. Then what was to happen to him?

He felt the vibrations from Riley's stereo lessen as he turned it down, and his ears swiveled slowly forward to figure out what he was doing before he heard the fox call to him. Hitting his chin on the floor as he lowered his head, he cursed silently, but it was almost painless compared to the rest of his body. Or at least, what his body should be feeling. Why must fate do this to me? I hate depending on people for support, but it's the only way... he concluded reluctantly. "I-I... can't... move," he stuttered, hoping Riley could hear him; he was too weak to speak any louder.

Motega nodded sternly, understanding of Kerwin's predicament. He glanced over to Jiki and Marlon and smiled, responding, "Well, they're fine for now. Best we take that tour right away before they get into any mischief." Offering his hand to the dark unicorn to lead the way, he said, "Shall we be off?"

Jiki tilted Marlon's chin up to him and smiled sweetly, beyond happy over this occasion. "You look lovely in the moonlight, you know that? You almost glow," he commented, wrapping an arm around the bunny's back and leading him off into an empty grass field. The stars shown brightly as he gazed upon them, and it seemed nothing could ruin the moment. "Would you like to sit down?" he offered, kissing Marlon on the hand with a smirk.

Riley's ear twitched when he heard Silvio move behind the door. And when the coon finally replied, the redhead opened the door and sighed. "You're just a wreck today, aren't ya?" he asked teasingly, bending down to help Silvio up. Or pick him up, whichever the poor coon would allow.

"And just to let you know, you're not going anywhere else tonight. You'll be spending the night here." Riley said, grinning. "Because you're certainly in no shape to be walking around!"

Kerwin stole a glance in Marlon's direction and grinned. "Aww..." he said as he took Motega's offered hand. "Yeah, I suppose we should give them some time alone, huh?" It was just like in his romance novels!

Marlon wore a silly grin on his face as he blushed profusely at the compliment. "You don't look half bad yourself in this light." he murmured, letting the beta lead him to wherever. He'd follow Jiki to the ends of the earth. But at the kiss on his head, the bunny chuckled. "Why yes, that sounds lovely." he said teasingly as he made a slight face playfully.

Silvio grumbled from the floor as Riley teased him upon entering, but it was barely, if at all, audible. He closed his eyes to try to stave off the blurry spinning that he saw the room as, hoping that the amount of blood he lost wasn't going to kill him in the end. He was one to worry about things like that when things got bad, and this was at its peak in bad. He tried to help Riley pick him up, but he couldn't control his muscles enough to do so. Instead, he only managed to lift his hand slightly in an attempt to grasp the floor to pull himself up, but that was it. He could hardly even help with his feet once Riley pulled him up, although being of such a light build and body weight, it shouldn't have been too overly difficult to do. "Thanks," he managed to cough, the only thought crossing his mind being, I hope I don't end up ruining his sheets... His mind couldn't concentrate on anything else at the moment as his thoughts ran together.

Motega nodded at Kerwin, agreeing whole-heartedly and leading the unicorn off. It was a relief to see Jiki actually being able to concentrate on something, and was thinking that maybe if the two of them were together more often, Jiki would be happier and able to do other things again. He figured Marlon must've been in the same predicament before, and hoped his fellow bunny would be able to do the same.

He led Kerwin up a small grassy slope, then stopped and released the unicorn's hand so he could take a look. The hill seemed to be just that, but Motega had stopped before a short drop where the hill turned into a cliff, overhanging what seemed to be a miniature canyon. "Watch your step, it drops here," he instructed Kerwin, hoping the little guy wouldn't slip. "When the sun sets, these rocks almost appear painted. Of course, you can't really see it now, but this is a rather oddly-shaped natural structure."

Jiki helped Marlon down off his feet, curling his tail and mismatched wings around the bunny protectively and closely. His hand managed to find Marlon's and he squeezed it, smiling softly. His eyes scanned across the horizon and spotted the moon coming over the bend in it, and pointed it out. It was a crescent moon, seeming perfect in shape as the earth shadowed the glow. He leaned his head into Marlon's shoulder, a wide grin on his face. "Only thing more beautiful than all this out here tonight is you," he whispered, continuing to gaze at the moon.

Riley just chuckled as poor Silvio tried to get up. Instead of just letting him struggled, the fox picked him up, trying not to groan under his weight. Okay... maybe he needed to go work out with Joscelin in the gym.

But when he heard a soft thanks from Silvio, Riley just grinned. "No prob! But next time... lay off so much food." he said, carrying him to the bed. "Just relax aaannnddd... Maybe now I can take care of those nasty wounds."

He kept looking back at the pair, a whistful look on his face. He was glad the two were finally together again. Marlon was so boring without Jiki around!

Noticing that Motega was leading him down a slope, the unicorn slowed, not wanting to trip and fall all the way down. Instead of responding verbally, Kerwin just nodded and concentrated on finding good footings.

Marlon snuggled against Jiki, feeling quite comfortable with his wings around him. At the touch of Jiki's hand enclosing his, he smiled thoughtfully. He really was happier when he was with the beta. When Jiki pointed out the cresent moon, he smiled. It was so bright and beautiful, lighting the sky as it did. At the compliment, Marlon again blushed as an ear twitched.

His ears swiveled back against his head as Riley struggled to get him to bed, wishing he could help. He could barely remember the last time he had been hurt so bad, but unfortunately it was a memory that refused to leave. Last time he had been thrown and locked up in a cage and not carried so carefully, so he felt worse about what happened now than he did back then. Just a few weeks ago he had no hope, but now, with Riley there to help, he had a chance out in the world, and that was something he was eternally grateful for.

The bed was a welcome change from the cold floor of the bathroom, and he sighed his relief. Blinking up at Riley, he was confused at the fox's comment. "I... eat too much...?" he asked quietly. He knew it was a joke, but he couldn't help but let it bother him. He had never eaten a decent meal in all the two years he could remember, and if he ever did he had been punished for it. However, Riley couldn't have known this, so Silvio just managed to turn his head from him and try to let it slide. He didn't really hear as Riley continued, but he would let him bandage him up.

Motega grinned at Kerwin as he watched the unicorn try to stand still. He grabbed his hand up again and tried to help him steady himself, offering for him to lean on the bunny if he felt himself slipping. "You ready to move on?" he asked, ready to lead him to somewhere else more level.

Marlon's warmth next to his made Jiki's heart skip a beat, but settled down knowing that Marlon felt the same way he did. It was almost like a dream to be like this, for he never imagined he would be able to steal someone else's heart and he his own, and he hoped to high heaven that it was real. He thought about finding a place with Marlon to be with him at all times, but he didn't want to bring it up; all the talk about money and the like would ruin the moment. But how could he spend another night away from Marlon? Eh, I'll worry about it later, he thought to himself, suppressing thoughts like these something he never found easy. However, with Marlon so near, his thoughts easily drifted back to the moment.
PostPosted: Wed Dec 20, 2006 10:46 pm

The fox let out a sigh of relief as he safely got Silvio to the bed. "Ah, that's better!" he grinned, but paused when the coon repeated his last comment. "Oh, I was only joking, Silvio. I-I'm sorry if I offended you." he said quickly, feeling as if he'd hurt the coon. How careless of him!

But he tried to push those thoughts from his mind as he got the medical stuff he needed. Basicly hydrogen peroxide and bandages and a damp cloth.

Kerwin smiled gratefully at Motega as he offered a hand. "Yeah... I think I am. Thanks." he said, one hand clinging to the bunny while the other held his precious book close.

Marlon felt as if Jiki was trying to think some things through, so he stayed silent. He gazed up at the moon, still cuddled in the beta's embrace.

Silvio turned his head back to Riley, a touch of a smile on his lips -- he couldn't manage much more. "It's okay. I just... get lost... in my thoughts, i-is all. You didn't do anything wrong," he managed to say, growling softly at the fluctuating tone in his voice after a pause. He hated this, being so out of reality that he hurt others with his trailing mind and unable to do anything to really help. And the fading light on his one good eye kept him from really realizing he'd done something until the reaction was made, and making his own mind fuzzed with the tinges of unconsciousness. He fought fiercely to stay awake, though, even if it meant more pain he had to endure. At the moment, he was more frightened of death than anything else, so much so he didn't even realize as Riley began to gather the things he needed.

"Okay, then, let's be off," he said with a grin as he led Kerwin carefully off the hill, making sure the unicorn could still grab hold of him if he slipped. He began to follow a rocky path, but one much more able to get your footing with. The stone was even a bit smoothe to the touch, which Motega could feel on his bare feet as they walked. "This whole canyon basically wraps around the park area, but it goes much further than it. It's pretty large, and I have only recently been able to track down and mark all the areas on a map. However, we're not going to go that far. We're only going to be walking around the park area," he explained as he led the unicorn, pausing briefly in his step so that Kerwin could have a good look at the area. "We don't want to be heading off too far," he finished knowingly.

Jiki didn't know if he wanted to speak, to break this almost magical silence that engulfed the two of them. Silence... that's rather odd, he thought to himself as he turned his head to see where Motega and Kerwin had gone off to, but couldn't find anything. "Hey, where did they go?" he asked quietly, but wasn't about to move to go check. He knew if anything had happened that Motega couldn't handle, he would've asked him for help. Turning back around, the beta fox squeezed Marlon tightly into a snuggle.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 21, 2006 5:50 pm

One of his ears twitched, a hopeful look on his face. "Really?" Riley asked. He hated it when he said something wrong and hurt someone's feelings. But that seemed to happen a lot when he spoke to Kerwin. Probably one of the reasons the unicorn stayed away...

Getting the peroxide, Riley poured a little on one of Silvio's wounds, holding an extra towel to catch the stray liquid that would fall.

Kerwin followed close behind, mindful of his teps. "Oh really? Wow, I never knew that!" the unicorn said as Motega explained about the canyon they were in. "Yeah... I'm sure someone would notice us gone. And I don't want to worry anyone.

The lavander bunny sighed contentedly when Jiki asked his question. "Hm?" Marlon said, and ear twitching. "I dunno... Maybe they wanted to give us some time alone?" he asked, smiling as he turned to look at the beta.

Silvio snickered faintly at Riley's reaction, realizing how innocent any remarks were coming from him. He really didn't mean to hurt him in any way, he was only there to help Silvio get back on his feet again. But... why was he so devoted to the cause? This thought came floating back into his mind, and he wondered if someone really could be such a good samaritan on the matter. Or maybe... he really didn't have anything better to do with his time. Either way, he no longer felt threatened around the fox, and trusted him more than anyone else at the moment. He cringed as the peroxide hit his wounds, the stinging bringing him back fully-awake. He seethed air in through his teeth sharply and stiffened, but this was nothing compared to before. Why did his thoughts always drift to before? It must be true that evil deeds stay with you longer than the good...

Motega nodded with a grin, agreeing. "Well, the miniature canyon here is a ways off from the main part of the park, and not many venture over here. I find it rather intriguing," he explained further, taking a deep breath of the crisp night air. "We won't be gone long, don't worry about it. Short tour is all I'm doing. It's too late to be doing much else," he concluded, picking up his pace again. His fluff ball of a tail twitched slightly to the cold, but it didn't bother him any further than that.

Jiki snickered slightly, the biting cold of the night starting to get to him. His ears flicked at the air mindlessly as he snuggled closer to Marlon, wondering why he hadn't brought a jacket. "They might've. That at least gives us some time by ourselves, at least," he said with a smirk, holding back the urge to kiss the bunny again. He wouldn't have done so if he didn't think to himself he was being rediculously lovestruck.
