((I'm speaking in third person now, not directly at anyone...))
As each of you approach the Altar of Heroes, you feel a strong gust of air. The air rushes past everyone away from the altar.
When you finally enter the altar, you look up in awe. There is a glowing mist circling within the ring. It is impossible to see through the torrent, yet it seems stable enough. Ishmael and Wapin are at the altar working. A Wapin copy approaches you from behind and taps your shoulder.
"It is time for you to depart. You will all have to follow me." He says, guiding you to the altar. Ishmael hands him a bowl full of powder and he turns back at you..
"It is time, I suggest you make final preperations now. Once ready, you can grab a handful of this and stand over there." He offers the bowl and points to a series of large stones with etchings on them. "Throw the dust down and stand on the stone. It may take a few minutes. I wish you the best of luck!"

Karra nodded dumbly, unable to mutter a word, even having trouble understanding what Wapin was speaking of. She took the dust and left slowly, glancing back over her shoulder. She had to get her things, as few of posessions they were, they were important to her. She then darted for her room at a speed that would rival that of the fastest feline. The necklaces beat against her chest softly with each swift stride she made.
((I might not be able to get on the rest of the week. Pheonix, I don't mind if you play my char if needed just try to keep to her personality, thanks. ^^))

She had to get her things, as few of posessions they were, they were important to her. She then darted for her room at a speed that would rival that of the fastest feline. Tso examined the bowl and looked at it quizzically, wondering what it was. Deciding there was no way for him to know, and that tasting it woud be a bad idea he did as Wapin instructed. As he stood on the stone, the hairs on the back of his neck began to raise, as if his slight magical talent was calling out to something nearby.

Very slowly, Tsos body began to pull away from the earth. His body started ascending toward the vortex. He suddenly picked up speed, but as he did, he was already enveloped in the vortex.
He was out of sight. No trace of him was to be found nearby. Ishmael stood calmly by the altar and continued his work. He closed his eyes for a moment as a bead of sweat dripped down his face.
"Everyone must hurry and accompany him. You need to take this first step quite suddenly else the chance shall dissapear." Ishmael shouted, continuing his work.

Reconna came to she relised that she had blacked out there for a moment . In a moments time all that happened came back to her and she found herself in a room with the others. whats this she thought to herself as she looked at the necklace oh yeah that ishmile guy gave it to me she smiled a shy smile and looked around and did what she was told to do. "See you all soon!" she cried cheerly

Eric followed closely behind, not saying a word. He knew from Ishmael's seriousness and alarmed voice that he had to hurry, so he did was he was told and was engulfed in the vortex.

((I will close this RP by wednesday so everyone interested in joining, do it now. So far, I have Imea!, Sykologikal, General Tso, and Kiiyou. Anyone else?))
Kiiyou dashes back down the hallway with an armful of her personal things. Wapin splits off another copy of himself and helps her with the dust. He throws it down and waves to her. She ascends like the ones before her in to the swirling mist.

Though Vince knew nothing about magic and half-expected to feel his body disintegrate in the vortex, he dashed through the portal behind Eric, having full faith in Ishmael.

((I now have Imea!, Sykologikal, General Tso, Kiiyou, and Leviat. These members must try to be active at least four times a week, prefferably on weekdays, but ends are fine too...))

As Leviat entered the portal, the mist dissipated. Ishmael put away his equipment and Wapin put the bowl away in a lower compartment of the altar and closed it securely. Ishmael walked toward a stone bench and sat down with a deep sigh.
As everyone wakes up, they find themselves on the side of a dirt road. The area is dotted with trees, some bearing fruit. The sun shines brightly on everyones faces as they pick themselves off the ground.
After a few moments in the warm sun, you feel a small pulse on your chest.
*I hope everyone arrived safely. I will tell you what I can of this area. Down the road, there is a town called Lorran. It is a fairly out-of-the-way town, so the local lords cant send many guards, making it a hot spot for crime. This shall be your first adventure together. Work together and it will be easier. Be careful of what you do because you can end up making a situation worse. Good Luck.*

Reconna sat up she dusted the dust off her. She felt slightly hungry looking around she saw an apple tree with ripe jucy looking apples hangging heavy on its limbs. Reconna walked up to the smallest of the trees and reached up to grab an apple. Her fingers just brushed the bottem of an apple. "Great to short again!" Reconna looked around for someone to ask for help.

Tso groggily picked himself off of a rocky patch of ground where he had been dumped. Groaning slightly, he wondered if anything was going to go right today. He stood and stretched his muscles, hoping to be ready for anything ahead. Looking around he saw one of his comrades looking a bit forlornly at an apple in a tree. He walked over and plucked it for her

Vince woke and hastily bolted up. He felt insecure lying on the ground in an unfamiliar environment, as any mercenary would. However, his mind obviously wasn't ready to rise and he stumbled backwards, right into one of his apple-eating companions.
"Ah, my apologies, I'm still a little dazed from that thing we went through."

Reconna blushed a shy deep blush she took the apple and said "thanks" as she bit into it. The flavor rushed into her mouth it was sweet and intense more then likely it was the best apple she had ever eaten. "Hi I am Reconna whats your name?" she asked her apple savor.

((I'm back! Did ya miss me? ^^))
Karra sat quietly in the dirt, laying her few possesions before her. She had managed to grab a pouch though did not have time to place her things in it. She saw few items before her, a worn leather book, a black pen of sorts, a jeweled dagger tied with a leather strap, and a little bit of money. She frowned slightly, looking at it. She needed to get some food and a few other essentials. She sighed and dumped the contents into the bag, besides the jeweled dagger which she hung around her neck along side the pendent.
Standing she looked down the path. Glancing at her 'comrads' her frown deepened. From what she could tell they were all human,'Wonderful...I am working with a bunch of mortals...' she dropped her head, waiting for them to get ready. As much as she would like to she couldn't just leave without them.
