Reiths

Reith was about to answer when Aecus stood and went to another part of the ship, he seemed to be busy with something but Reith just left him alone. Reith pulled out her sabers and looked at them, though it was true sh did own two she normaly would only use one in battle, the only reason she would use a second was to chatch her enemy off guard. Reith turned as Aecus began to come back to the front of the ship, he had changed his close, which made since because he had left without much on at all. Now that he had returned Reith thought she would answer hs statement from before.

I own two because it can catch an enemy off guard and give you an advantage, but you havn't told me yet where we are going so maybe bringing two sabers might be a large risk. Reith cliped one saber to her belt, however placed the other saber on theeadge of the control pannel infront of her.

Luke's attention trailed in and out as Reith spoke. The conversation of different saber styles always fueled great passion inside Luke, he had strong views on it. Obviously, this was not the first time he had been involved with the debate, and it certainly would not be the last. He chose to concede this time but not making a point of the flaw in Reith's words, but his mind was still racing through everything at once, almost making Luke tense.

To answer Reith's query, Luke simply raised his right arm and pointed out the front of the ship, directly towards to moon floating infront of them. With a playful look on his face, Luke answered her directly.

Down there, Stupid. Why else would we be here?

Luke laughed lightly as he fiddled with various switches and levers on the control panel infront of him. Slowly, the SunCrusher shifted from ita orbit over Rori and began to decend upon the planet.

Reith watched as they ship began to lower onto the planet. She was unsure why they were going there but it mattered little. Reith sat quietly thinking about her own passed, though short it made her question the reason for it even more. She lifted her hood over her head, no real reason other then habbit and waited to land.

The Sun Crusher began to pick up speed at it decended upon the planet of Rori. Once they had broken the atmosphere, the ship flew along the sky, above the clouds, trying to find a safe spot to land. The view of the sky reflected exactly how it had been portraid in many novels throughout the galaxy, a peaceful, romantic planet. The setting sun hovered low in the sky, just above the silver clouds formed from the swamps below. The sky was llit up in a firery orange. It was, truely peaceful over Rori.

Of course, once they had broken through the clouds, the true nature of modern-day Rori became ever present. The planet was a battle zone. Explosions, fighting, death covered the planet. Even from their great height, Luke and Reith passed no fewer than four seperate battles, each more fierce than the last.

Fianlly, having past over the larger cities, now shrouded by the swamp mist, the Sun Crusher set down in a very marshy terrain. Leaving his seat, Luke stepped over to the roof of the ship, popping the hatch and climbing out. There was an ever present stench of filth around them, one of the drawbacks from landing in a swamp. Doing his best to cover the smell, Luke lept from the top, down to the dank ground.

Unaware how bad the terrain was, Luke instantly sunk knee-height into the muck. Cursing under his breath, Luke slushed his way out of mess he had got himself into, before checking out the damage. He rolled his eyes to himself, seeing his new trousers ruined, before forgetting it and turning to Reith.

Which do you prefer, left or right?

As the ship broken through the cloud the land of broken as if an endless war was going on. The ship passed over much of the planet, giving and idea of what was on the planet., which wasn't a whole lot.

Reith watched as Aecus turned to leave the ship after he had landed it. Reith stood to leave, however she picked up her other saber before walking to the exit. She planet her other saber down next to Aecus bag before she steped out. Aecus himself seemed to be sinking in the mud, Reith smiled, only for a moment and with her hood up so no one would see. His question was simple but since she was unsure of their goal it didn't matter which way they went.

Left.

Reith's answer solved one of the problems they faced, the one of which side to join. Of course, Luke had no idea what either group war a battle uniform, nor where each where stationed. Infact, he was not entirely sure where they themselves were on the planet. So, logically, the only thing they could do would be to find out the answer to some, if not all, of these, but that could not be done here.

Turning right, Luke headed off over the marchy plains, hoping to come across someone or something to give them some direction. The never ending battles on this planet could be heard all around them. The soft rumble of an explosion and repeated blaster fire drowned out the slushing of the ground below them as they walked along.

Reith said nothing, just fallowed. The whole planet seemed to be a gaint mess of fighting and killing. She was unsure why they had come to such a planet, but it again mattered little now that she was here. Reith fallowed until she had to at least say something to break the silence.

So, why are we here anyway?

Talon was just sitting when he felt them start to land. He readied himself. He thought he could feel something off. A dark presence. He was just a padawan, so he couldn't feel all of the presence. He did feel something though. R5 beeped at him seeing Talon's facial expression change.

"Nothing R5....just.....something is odd.," he said.

The Red Harrier descended into the atmosphere. It started to shadow the incoming ship hoping to be lost in it's shadow. If Renii had to hide the 30 second cloaking device would help but she'd rather not drain so much fuel from the power cells. Still blocking incoming transmission the Harrier leveled out and landed at the edge of the swamp. The fighter drones hovered just overhead relaying data. Renii streched out, worried that the Jedi might have finaly decided to move. She didn't want to be dragged into their rightous cause to stop the civil war. She always got dragged in.

Jami shivered lightly as the air seemed to cool as the ship exited hyperspace. He ran his fingers slowly through the silver streak in his hair, checking his controls. On the radar, it seemed as if there had been a ship a few moments ago, but it was gone now. Surprised and curious, Jami tried to think of what had happened. He finally came to the conclusion that it was just a glitch, and he decided not to worry about it. He turned back to the two Jedi Knights. "Master Adonis? Master Kari? Where should I land?"

Adonis scanned the moons surface. It was so much like Naboo, it made Adonis feel a little homesick. At least he was on his home planets moon. Maybe they'd get a chance to visit Naboo after the mission, and Adonis could show his friends where he grew up. But now was not the time to be thinking about that. Adonis saw a patch of swamp trees with a clearing in the middle. "There" he said pointing.

Jami nodded slowly and keyed in a couple of coordinates. He then steered the ship quickly through the dense, swampy atmosphere of the planet. The young man pulled up quickly, just before landing the ship in the center of a lake, and he managed to land it on the swampy, wet marsh. Deenine chirped, to which Jami refused to respond. "We're here, Master. The Capitalist camp should be a few klicks from here. We could reach it in an hour or so if we walked, though I doubt that we would get a warm reception from either them or the Socialists. Any suggestions?"

The hatch of the Harrier opened silently. Renii stood on the ramp silently. Leaving K'tana to stand gaurd she had decided to explore a bit. She had landed close enough to the city for James to get there himself if he needed to. She had, of course picked up the readings of a hyperspace exit. She sighed. More adventure. But then that was why she had left her parents wasn't it? Closing the hatch she turned and walked into the swamp weapons holstered and lightsaber gripped in her hand.
