Don't avoid battles, never run you'll level up more and you'll learn more about how to fight better. Oh and if you go one direction and find out it is right and it might move the story on GO BACK! You never know you could have missed a materia or an item!

ok just lvl up i havint playid it in a while so i fergit if thare pots or not so git a lot of pots and train like crazy! thats all i have to say so ya good luck

in case you still need help with the codes
dial 1 (right 36)
located in the lid of the box with the most oxygen
(room with all the trees in it)
dial 2 (left 10)
located Behind the ivory key in the piano
(where the stings are at)
dial 3 (right 59)
located upstairs by a chair where the floor creeks
(5steps left, 9 steps right,2 steps left, 6 steps up)
dial 4 (right 36)
hidden under the 3rd hint in the notebook
(invisible ink)

Do not get rid of your morph materia, you will need it late in the game (somehow I manage to keep doing this) sweatdrop

yeh cloud is my fav too.but lvling and figuring out materia combos is also necessary.im in over 100 hours and im still finding new materia combos.
