Cirrus wished that she had her trainers instead of the blasted heels she was wearing. Her feet were going to be destroyed by the time she got back to the hotel. She could already feel the beginnings of a blister starting on her right heel. When he mentioned buying something for her family, she looked away, pretending to take interest in the shop windows that they passed.

"I don't have family," she said softly, more to herself. Spying a vending machine, she glanced over at him, then started towards it. Digging in her bag for her change purse she was reminded of Kade and the day they had met. She missed him so much. She wondered what he would think of her if he could see her right now. Swallowing hard, she reached out with a slightly shaky hand and slipped the coins into the machine, then pressed the button for a bottle of water. Without really thinking about what she was wearing, she bent down in an unladylike manner to grab the bottle. She picked up her change then looked back over at Shuhei.

"Did you want anything?" she asked him, twisting open the cap.

Shuhei feigned an apologetic look as she said she had no family. Heh, it would be amusing to tell her 'desperate' brother that.
"I am sorry." He said, raising an eyebrow as she bent down to get a drink from the machine. He swallowed. Keeping his yanki mits off was most definitely going to be harder than he had first thought.

Her question was just too good to resist. Another free show? Yes please. He thought as he handed her some change. "Tea please." He said with a friendly smile.

"Don't be sorry," she said after taking a sip. She reached out and took the change from him, her nails brushing against his palm. She slipped the coins in and pressed the button for tea. She started to bend down again, but remembered herself this time. Glancing over at him she tilted her head to the side and glanced pointedly down at the tray. If he wanted it, he would have to get it. Taking another sip of water, she glanced around.

"What kind of movies do you like?" she asked him.

Shuhei supressed a grin as she nodded to the tray and bebt down to get his tea. When Jess had told him about the girl he was put off by the thought of some spoiled runaway. Thank the gods she turned out to have a bit of a kick to her. He was utterly amused at how quickly she managed to see through him.

"I like action movies." He said predictably unscrewing the cap on his tea and taking a sip. "Gangster movies also."

He continued to lead her up the hill.
"How about you?"

Cirrus surpressed the urge to groan as they started back up the hill. Why, oh why had she given in to the temptation to buy a pair of shoes like these? She never wore heels before, or at least tried to avoid them like the plague. But these had been awful cute and she hadn't exactly been planning on hiking up hills with strange young men. Sighing lightly, she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear and looked back over at him.

"I like gangster movies too. And romance too... of course," she smirked at him with a small shrug.

"What kind of trouble do you like?" she asked, with an arched brow before looking back off to the scenery around them.

"Trouble?" He asked and paused for a moment. He grinned as he remembered he had told her it was one of his hobbies. "I like to dance." He said plainly, noticing her begin to limp a bit.
"Not far now." He said as they reached the top of the street and came face to face with a large pagoda. "Sometimes when I go to dance ... a club you say maybe? I get drunker or sometimes my friend get into a kind of fight." He raised an eyebrow and smirked. "I make my father very angry."

Pausing, he looked down at her feet in concern.
"How about you Holly. Are you a good girl?"

Cirrus listened to him, smiling at his answer. So he was one of those types, she thought wryly as she looked up at the magnificent pagoda in front of her. When he paused, she looked over at him and noticed the concerned look he directed down to her feet. She immediately forced herself to stop limping and walk normally again. But at his question, she stopped all together and looked him straight in the eyes. She studied him for a long moment, trying to decide if was implying anything other than what he had asked her. He hadn't done anything to lead her to believe that he was, so she turned her eyes back to the pagoda.

"Sure," she finally answered him. "But I guess it depends on what you mean," she said, starting to walk again.

"I mean do you always follow rules." He said walking backwards up the steps that led to the pagoda. He wondered for a moment if they should stop and have a rest. Pausing a moment he looked out at the sky, the sun was begining to sink and he didn't want her to miss the sunset view.
"Are your feet all right?" He asked loking down at her feet once more.

"Until recently, yes," she smirked up at him, just waiting for him to trip and fall. When he paused, she kept walking up past him, then glanced over her shoulder at him.

"I will live," she smiled charmingly down at him, then continued up the steps. Maybe, she added to herself. She couldn't wait to get back to the hotel and soak her feet.

Shuhei joined her up the top of the step and without really thinking took her hand to lead her over to the main temple that was set into the hill.
"You have to see this." He said paying for their tickets and leading her up to the wooden railings of the structure. The sun was now a burning red circle in the peachy blue and pink sky.
"My number one osusume ... er reccomend in Japan. Kiyomizu sunset."

Cirrus blinked when Shuhei took her hand in his, but did not pull it away. She allowed him to pay for her ticket without saying anything and then let him lead her up to the most fantastic view she had ever seen in her life. She stared out over the darkening trees and the gorgeous sunset filling the clear sky, a genuinely happy smile on her lips. She didn't even realize that she was still holding Shu's hand. She glanced at him for only a moment when he spoke, then turned her eyes back out to the view.

"So beautiful," she said softly, trying to see everything all at once.

Shuhei nodded and looked out over the city. His city one day. Heh that was a scary, yet exhillerating thought. He actually found him self smiling at her reaction to the view. He was glad she enjoyed it as much as he did.
"Do you have dinner plan?" He asked dropping her hand and turning to lean back against the railing. "I can show you good restauran. No party or drinking I promise." He said giving her his winning smile.

When her hand was let go, she then realized that she hadn't pulled it away from him. Blushing lightly, she folded her arms loosely and continued to look out. You could actually see the sun sinking in the sky. At his question, she managed to take her eyes away from the view for a moment to glance over at him. She turned her eyes back out to the sunset and dropped her hands to the railing to lean on it, looking down over the steep drop off on the other side. Blinking at the dizzy feeling she got, she turned her eyes back up to the darkening sky. She looked back over at Shuhei. He had a really nice smile, she thought, giving him one of her own.

"Sure. I think I would like that," she smiled, then looked back over at the scenery before her.

"Cool." He said turning back to watch the sun once more. "Maybe you should go to your hotel. Umm ... heal your feet." He said stepping back from the railing as the sun dissapeared and looking over to the growing lights of the city.
"I can meet you somewhere. Uh ... the station maybe? It has many restaurant."

His offer to let her change her shoes was a very welcome one, though a moment of panic seized her until he continued and offered to meet her somewhere. The station would be a good place. Lots of people would be around there. She glanced out over towards the city, though found it not near as impressive as the sunset had been. She stepped away from the railing and looked over at Shuhei.

"That sounds like a great plan," she smiled at him. She found that she was rather enjoying his company. It was nice to meet someone on your own terms.
