Yea, I have a few rather loliish shirts and a cute top that i know i'm posting up becasue the top doesn't fit (damn arm muscles...) and the skirts just don't really match anything i have right now...
I'm also working on a few other skirts and a dress pattern that I fell in love with.

I might be making my first piece for someone else soon... My brother's g/f saw my blue Loli dress I made and thought it was cute... and her parents spoli her, and she gets whatever she wants, so she's probably going to have me make her some outfits 3nodding

My grandmother thinks that I wouldn't find time for sewing. I think I'll have some time during the summer to practice at least.

There's this wonderful fabric I keep staring at in the store...it's a solid colour with white polka dots. I have it in nave, and it makes a cute skirt, but I want a shirt or dress of it in lavender. I also would like to make some gingham blouses.

namida_no_chi I'm finding Satines are shweet to use to make your dresses more elegant 3nodding whee and of course if you have some serious money, velvet 3nodding What I use instead is crushed panne. It's a lot cheaper, especially when it goes on sale for $3/yard. It looks like a crushed velvet, but is a knit, so it stretches. I have a wonderful top made of it, and a HUGE cloak, as well. When I get home, I'll take photos, and post them. I think the only clothes I'm taking home with me this summer are my Lolita outfits. Everything else goes into storage, and I'll buy new normal clothes at home.

I haven't really gonnen into making velvet outfits yet, but I noticed that like Mana's store has them, and verlvet always looks really elegany. Of course I don't have the money for $12/yd, so I'll stick to cheaper fabrics, and maybe sometime, I'll look for an alternative to velvet. But currently, I get all of my designs from http://www.bodyline.co.jp and they don't really have velvet stuffs 3nodding ... I shall not stop sewing till I have all the the body like outfits! and then I'll still be sewing xd

I'm currently on the quest for the material... I prefer my fishnet gloves... armawrmers... whatever... they hook around my middle finger and come up my arm like long gloves... they are my fa. I picked them up at a con, and have been told place like hot topic and spencers has them on occasion...

I've never seen the plain material, and it'd be nice to have it to make other stuff than just stockings, or whatever fishnet things you can find at the store @_@
