Can't say that I have ever really been bashed or anything of the like. I had a good discussion with one of my friends on the subject though. He was so confused, but I think I helped him be a little less confused. 3nodding
I'm actually more worried about getting bashed from the gay community, though sweatdrop . Like they are going to call me a poser or something. I'm always afraid of that. Mostly because I am engaged and my fiance just happens to be male (I'm female). I'm also the President of USI Spectrum, and sometimes I feel like I shouldn't be because I'm not a lesbian... sweatdrop But I really should get over myself and realize that there is like a 1% chance of that EVER happening...I hope. sweatdrop

Tenaku I dunno anything about dresses, but somethign tells me thats a good price for a wedding dress The dress I really really wanted (a renassaince style one) was over $3000. Most wedding dresses will run between $500 and $5000. It is outrageous! Just hop on a site like David's Bridal. Its crazy! I got mine when it was on sale AND it was discontinued.

Wow, I guess men win in this category too. I bought a suite for senior prom last year and bought a "lifetime re-fit" policy - but I didn't feel bad about the price because I can use it for Ashten and I's wedding, job interviews, and any formal occasion. I guess another win on the male side of things - reusability. Whereas I'm assuming reusing a wedding dress wouldn't be somthing that would be generally desired by lots of people, except maybe on anny's.
A good suite btw, in my geographic locations (tux's you gotta' add a little bit more, you can add more for shoes/ties/hats/gloves as well) is I'd say much cheaper, you can get a really nice suite for around 500/600$.

That is a really sweet deal you got on that tux though! Good find!

Yeah rental isn't so bad if you want to go for a tux, but I dislike the extreme formality of a tuxedo (which you can't reuse a lot) :p For some reason I feel way out of place in one - gimme a suite biggrin
Maybe it's my political beliefs? lol who knows.
