"Zawsaw!" Yashima, despite any baby curled up against him, let his arms fly up and flail towards that adorable black and red bundle. "Aoi chou - Zawsaw NOW!" Apparently, the little b rat knew the word 'now' enough to use it.
He was demanding, anyway, and that yoinked Patricks attention up, a grin growing on his face. "Neveah! Zah~ Hey there. No, don't leave. Youko and I were doing some mildly masculine bonding - we need a pretty butterfly to make it all good. Settle~ Sit~"

"Oh, well how kind of you!" Neveah said, smiling brightly. It was nice to be welcome...she'd forgotten what it was like, since most of her life was spent traveling and having a career that most areas disliked greatly. Shuffling over before they changed their minds, she sat closer to the female baby and the shade than anywhere else. The shade didn't help completely...but it was enough to soften the pathetic whining Zah seemed to be perfecting. "Aww, that must be Shaveri! She's really cute...! Whoops, did we wake her?" Now, she sounded apologetic.
"Whoa...demanding much, Kitling?" The butterfly queried, focusing her angled eyes on the little fox. "One minute...give me that long at least, okay little one?" That gave her time to free some of Zasalamel from his blanket, at least.
"Male bonding...? I'm not complaining...but doesn't that mean I shouldn't be here?" She teased good-naturedly though she seemed pleased at the compliment, undoing the arm and leg clasps on the blanket the drow was wrapped in (he was wearing gloves, shoes and skin-covering clothing), but keeping the blindfold and hood securely on. She set him down beside her, but close to the other two kidlets.
Zasalamel's head turned, only to feel more fabric-stuff against his face. A yell? A girl yell? His own chanting went quiet for a moment. Who was that? He was wiggling now, caught between wanting down, wanting to find out, and wanting to latch onto Yashima. "Ahsheeeemah! muuuuabebeha~" He decided, which really had no relevance to anything.
Once he was down, he flailed with his arms and legs a bit, enough to get a grasp on something (which, coincidentally, was Neveah's sleeve), and with a grunt, he pulled on it until he struggled onto his own bottom. "Aaaahbabbuh?!" He greeted and questioned, his gloved hands tapping around, trying to find everyone else.

"Aaaahbabbuh..." Shavri repeated... well, as best she could, rolling onto her side and staring towards the completely covered baby. Well, THAT couldn't be comfortable, could it? She looked down at herself and the shorts and sleeveless shirt she wore, then blinked at Zas again. "Meh?" she asked, as if this were the most logical question in the world.
"Male bonding, guardian bonding, whatever you prefer to call it. Whatever it is, you're more than welcome." Youko grinned, watching the baby-unwrapping game. "I'm not sure how you do it..." he said, watching her intently. "Does the light hurt his skin too?"

Yashima simply stared at the butterfly in silence until his friend was free, tail twitching to and fro. Ther ehe was - the fun little Drow he had so much fun with! His arms flung towards the mostly-blinde baby, hugging his ickle frame as tight as his own ickle frame would allow...then he tried to tug him towards Shavri and himself.
"Sh'vee, Zawsaw~ Gaaru da! Otokonoko janai yo!" He sounded rather self important, nodding and enwrapping his arms around the both of them - his mini harem.
Patrick grinned a little bit, watching the children play around together before glancing at Neveah. "Psh. We're all beautiful here! So we can pretend for a little while. ...or what Youko said. Gaurdian bonding." Another nod, lips folding into a wider smile.

"Well, if push comes to shove...I'll just pretend to be a guy." Neveah decided with another laugh, shaking her head. When Youko spoke again, she looked up from her wiggling charge and blinked curiously at him. "I'm not sure how I do it either...but I manage! I'll probably be deaf before I'm Twenty-Five, but I manage." She was grinning again; this was entirely amusing to her, considering she was probably right. "Yeah...He screams like...like someone's holding a flame to him. Or like he's dying, depends on what mood he's in." Sighing, she reached over and fixed the Drow's hood again, since he'd managed to tilt it when he sat up.
"And hey...I never said you two weren't beautiful!" She shot back to Patrick, though playfully.
"...Meh?" Zasalamel repeated, trying to figure out how to answer this all-important question. "...Aaaahbabeu" He answered hesitantly, as if finally realizing that the baby he was talking to was that female-but-not-female thing. Just in case it was female though, he was going to tread with caution!
"Brruah?" Zah drawled with his already heavy accent...then... "AHHSHEEEEMAH!" He cried out loudly, happily, when he was mauled by his friend. "Sh'veee?" He repeated, after uttering an 'oof' when he was tugged down. He then went silent. Is Yashima wasn't afraid of this girl-but-not-girl thing...then he shouldn't be either! "Sh'veeeeeeee~!" He cried out, patting around blindly for this Sh'vee thing.

Shavri couldn't roll towards him yet... or crawl, or anything else really to get her closer to the patting thing. It was a baby, right? Instead, she reached out as best she could, brushing her fingers against his and babbling in nonsensical baby-talk.... but whatever she was saying, it was of some vital importance to her, it seemed. "ABBBBREEEEEEE!" she yelled, laughing as she leaned OVER Yashima towards Zah.
"Of course I'm beautiful," Youko said, putting on an air of mock regality. He fairly preened for a second before collapsing into giggles, laying in the grass. "Well, it looks like you've got the light problem covered... quite literally," he added, watching the bundled up baby trying to reach for the others.

Yashima jumped a little when the bulk that was Shavri rolled ONTO his lap, golden eyes widening almost comically. "...mou~!" The fox kit pouted, wriggling a little bit and letting one hand delve into Zahs soft soft white hair. "Zawsaw~ Aaaahbabeu?"
What the bugger did that mean? "Abbbreeeee?" Yashima mimicked again, a whine in his voice, tail flittering this way and that. Oh, if only he was a baby again~ He would understand!
"I...uh...have nice jewelry?" The human offered, as if it was something he'd never thought of before. Liar. Patrick grinned, peering over Youko to the children before his gaze went back to the butterfly girl.
"I hope it'll get better... That would suck for the poor kid, especially with friends like Yashi and Shavri." His chin jerked a little, lips twitching. "They seem to not mind the sunlight."

Waah! The not-girl's voice was getting closer! Blindly, Zah put out one hand...and as luck would have it - Poit! - it managed to bump right into Shavri's nose. "...Bu?" He questioned, poking at the thing his hand had touched. "Buu!" He cried out, patting around the face now with one hand to try and figure out what it looked like. His other hand, of course, had taken a few pieces of Yashi's hair hostage...which was completely accidental! With a squeak, Zah tumbled forward after losing what little balance he possessed, falling over Shavri and Yashima at the same time. "...Beeehehehe..." He giggled out, as if to say 'whoops!'.
Amazingly, his hood seemed to stay put for once...but that had to do with Neveah, who was watching him like the mother hen she turned out to be. She always fixed the hood without the baby noticing, even when he stumbled.
"Covered? Hah...if it weren't for Shavri and Yashima...He'd be whimpering about the clothes." Thus, in the end, she never, ever won. "I think it'll get somewhat better when he gets older...I noticed in his baby ghost stage, he did start to get a little used to it." Here's to hoping his skin toughens up as he gets older, too! "I'm hoping anyway...like you said, it would suck for him in so many ways." The butterfly sighed a bit, once more fixing Zasalamel's hood.
"Aaah...of all times to not bring a camera...Looks like they're accidentally dog/baby-piling on Yashi~" Neveah was laughing now, as well as making a mental note to always bring a camera everywhere from now on. "Poor kid..." She giggled out, shaking her head.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEhehehehe!" Shavri squealed in laughter, perfectly content to be in the baby/toddler pile. Nor did she really mind getting her face explored by hands, either. In fact, she simply returned the favour, patting lightly at the hood and fabric that covered Zah's face, trying to figure out just what the boy looked like underneath there. Could he breathe? "Aboooo...?" she asked, peering close enough that her nose nearly bumped up against the cloth covering, her curiosity overwhelming any instinct that might have told her NOT to startle a Drow. Blinking with wide, violet eyes, she tried to turn her head to peer underneath without actually removing the fabric. Light made Zah cry. She remembered THAT.

Yashi stared, eyes wide and almost horrified, at the dogpile taking place on his lap. The poor fox was unused to psycho children on top of him, especially his bestest-best-friend Drow and the not-a-girl-fun-to-snuggle thing. "...........nuuuuuuu." He finally huffed out, tail fluffing up and ruffling at their respective hairs.
Zah tugging at his own locks went unnoticed - he was being snuggled, smuggled, tugged and drooled on! What a DAY!
Patrick laughed, head shaking a little bit. "It would suck very much so, Neveah. But he'll get tougher as he gets older - almost everyone does, erally." Patrick paused, eyebrows arching and he reached into his back pocket to draw out - ta da! His cell phone! It had a mini camera installed.
"Do you guys mind if I steal your kids for a quick picture of this?"

Zasalamel 'stared' at the squealing not-girl, content to lay over Yashima's lap and partially on Shavri. He babbled questioningly when she started to pat at his face...well, that soft thing that was pulled low over his face, anyway. He pat at the not-girl's face a couple more times, then decided that he wanted to pet his own face too! Giggling, he pat his own nose and cheek from the other side of the hood. His other hand of course, was still thoroughly trapping Yashima's hair...because he could, really.
But, like most things, that became boring. So, it was time to chew on his fingers! He knew how to get his hand under his hood...it took him a couple tries, but he did know how! "Mmmmm~" He hummed out, swaying his arm until it caught on the inside of his hood, then tilting his head down to gum down on what might or might not have been his hand. Oh hey, this actually tasted good!
Poor Shavri would probably only see more black in the shade of his hood; the only thing that seemed to have colour was the crimson blindbold and the mop of his snow white hair.
After a moment, the infant's head started to bob, as if he were suddenly trying so very hard to stay awake. His muffled humming slowly got quieter...and was eventually broken by a rather loud and squeaking yawn.
Neveah on the other hand, was practically melting. "Oh, Please do!" She encouraged happily, once she spotted the cell phone. She had to get herself one of them! It was portable! Though being a folklorist, she should technically have a camera on her at all times anyway.
